I won my love, Olivia... My happiness cannot be described in words. She becomes more beautiful to me as the time passes. Dreaming about her and waiting for her presence stings like throns from a rose bush. This waiting period is going to be horrible, isn't it? I am going to feel like she is mine, and yet she cannot be in my arms... Can't she understand that I want her only for myself? A new journey has come to the world of Super Dollfie.

 

I did NOT win Maki, OR Olivia.

I also has lost on a doll head I wanted to buy yesterday. So I lost 3 things. WHOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

So speechless now....................

Yes, finally some luck in something, I won Maki! And I really can't believe I am saying this, but he's going to become my next girl.

 

My friend, pontifexofpunk, won Saber... but he doesn't post here much. I'm trying to get him to. :p I've tempted another to the dark side! All it took was one of his favorite anime characters to be made into an awesome doll. ^_^ *mission accomplished*

Saber is perhaps the first Dollfie Dream doll that I really ever wanted!

I'll probably try for her at the After Event. If not, I'll try to get her head from Y!J or from DoA Marketplace.

To everyone who did not win in Volks lottery--please do not be sad! I did not win anything on this Dolpa 19 lottery, either!

We all have chance on the After Event!! If not that place, we can have chance at DoA Marketplace and Y!J

If we don't get our dolls or LE items from those three places, then we all have more money for next new Dolpas~

 

I got Tae!!! It is the first time I ever entered the lottery. I can't believe how lucky I am. She should arrive for my B-day -- very cool.

Hey Kim (who posted above). Congrats on Maki!!!!! Unless I'm confused (always a possibility) we met yesterday at the Philly meetup. (You had Kun, I had Ren). I'm so happy for you. I didn't talk much about the lottery yesterday because I was afraid I would jinx it but right now I'm completely excited for both of us. Congrats Congrats Congrats!!!! Maki will make a really great girl.

 

Sleep_Pattern: Congradulations on your Olivia too! I'm sorry you didn't win the one you really wanted. Maybe in the next event.

Alithéa: I've been wanting to go to one of the meets at Dolls and Friends in Bellevue, but usually when I get off the island, I head straight for Seattle. If I do go this fall, I'll be sure to bring Olivia. I've never seen any Volks dolls in person, so I need to get out more!

 

It was me, hehe. Congrats on Tae, she's one of my fave Volks girls and I know will look great with your cute little Ren! Oh I know, I have the worst luck so I am quite shocked but happy he's coming home. (And getting a sex change, hehe)

 

Far2Frail: I'm going to give it a try in the after event, I'm determined to bring Tsuyoshi home. I'm so pleased with my new girl though, I can't wait until Volks starts shipping her out. Hopefully the wait won't be too brutal for either of us.

Btw, anyone knows at what time the AE will start? It's written only the date but not the time in Volks international website. I'm trying my luck for Olivia at AE. *nervous* >.,<

 

I'd also like to know the date and time for the AE. I seem to have lost my links.

 

The date is May 17 and May 18 Japanese Time.
But time has not been announced.
The past two AE&#12288;took place at 7PM Japanese time.
So I am assuming that may be the time for this AE as well.

 

Alithea, this is my first lottery AND FIRST DOLL. My dream doll was Olivia and I've waited a whole year staring at her on display in Torrence... I remembered I kept on asking if she was for sale and explained to the worker that I was interested in fashion design and how much of an inspiration and joy the SD16 girl brings to my heart. She told me that she wasn't for sale and tried to not make me feel bad from wanting her more so she tried to sit the doll in the back where she wasn't too noticable at the moment. I thought everyone was so cute and loved them all, but if I were to spend my money like this, then I must be wise and pick the perfect one and only one for me. I hope everyone will be satisfied one way or another as I am relieved with this triumph for myself. I know that everything will happen the way things are meant to happen. Which showroom? As far as I know these items are only going to be available at the online After Event on Volks International, and it's next weekend.

Yes, I mean the Dolls Party 19 After Event on May 17. Volks International has a big banner on the main pain of their website and everyone has been talking about what they are going to try for. Sorry if I'm missing something that's already been posted, but I was wondering when and if they would put up a page showing all the dolls and outfits that will be available.

 

Yes, they will have the page that will show all the dolls and clothes/accessories available within this week. Just keep checking their site and then you will be able to see on their News Section announcing that their After Event page is open.

You will also know when you are able to click on the banner with Tae's picture on it that you can see the items available on the AE.

Alithéa: Thank you, I was looking in the right place, then. I thought something would be posted by now since the USA Dolpa 19 pictures were there quite I bit before the lottery.

 

The Japanese AE starts @ 10AM local time, taking place on-line and each Sumika.

At this time, I do not think Maki will be offered at AE There goes my last chance for this boy. Oh well, I guess this boy is never meant to come to my family.

Tae and SWD Tae are both for pre-order method only. They do not have the actual dolls at the Sumika. The delivery period is by the end of June for those lucky few who can make it to each Sumika early enough.

DD Saber is by web order only.

If he's not available at AE. I believe you still can find him on YJ though the price might be shooting up. I assume there'll be quite a number of Dolpa 19 dolls put in auction after AE. I wish you the best luck.

 

It's really strange... He's listed on the Japanese AE page:

I don't think that page is necessarily the same as an After Event listing -- they have the Yos up there, as well, but on their pages they say "Closed". For Olivia and the two Taes, they say [ Dolls Party 19 After Event ].

But where is Maki? Could he (and Saber) be Japan-only?

 

Very possible. One of the problems with series tie-in dolls is all the legal issues that come with releasing dolls overseas on mass-market. Hopefully those that do want these dolls can have a chance at them. I loved Saber. She's quite possibly the loveliest DD I've ever seen.

 

Oh, wow, good point. I was noticing that both of the "missing" dolls from the lineup were tie-ins... Yikes!

 

Urk. I thought that would happen. Maki is from Himitsu - The Revelation, so he falls under the same category as the Rozen Maidens. I guess the same goes for Saber. I'm afraid those of us who want these anime lovelies will have to turn to Y!J or someone in Japan. At least Maki's price didn't soar unreasonably, though Saber is a different story.

 

Damn. I might have had the money for Maki from the After Event, if only he'd been offered to international customers. DAMN! He was available through Volks USA. I'm so disappointed. I'd rather not buy him second-hand and pay extra money for no good reason. Guess you win some, you lose some.

If anyone sees a Maki in Y!J before the AE, I'd suggest maybe snagging him. I'd hate to see his prices go even higher since he won't be available on the international site for the AE.

But OMG!!! I'm sooooo excited about the other items!! The regular ones and the underwears!

 

Looking closer, the Tenshi no Sumika items and the Limited items go on sale at different times, like the Kyoto Dolpa 5 AE.

The Limited items go on sale at 7 pm Japanese time, which is the usual 3 am PST (tonight), but the Sumika items are on sale at 10 am Japanese time, which is 6 pm PST, which is ... just under an hour away.

 

^^ Ohohoho!! This makes me even happier!

I'm ready to click on those shopping carts!

 

I just hope they actually start uploading the Sumika items at the promised time, unlike the Kyoto 5 AE, where they were most decidedly late (and by several hours, at that).
