Don't worry, I won't close it!! I just keep hitting PURCHASE NOW, and going back when I get the ERROR screen. I wanted the MSD Sweater outfit but that was gone faster than the YoSD I think.

Edit 5:27 PM Well, I got to the page to add Shipping Address after logging in, and now it's Error 503 Again.

Edit 5:45 PM Now I am back three pages to trying to PURCHASE NOW.... *sigh*

 

I'm getting a whole new crop of error messages -- some informing me that my webpages aren't redirecting correctly, others state that the URL has exceeded its redirect allotment.

 

I got one of the mushroom sweaters, but the SD13 red coat I wanted was gone by the time I finished getting the sweater in my cart (less than a minute!!)

 

Should the sold out outfits be for sale on VolksUSA later?

Safari can’t open the page.
Too many redirects occurred trying to open “https://www.volks.co.jp/error/server_error.aspx?stcd=503”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.

I wanted that coat too. I had it in my cart, but somehow when I added something else it was gone. >_< I hope it's available later on, it was really nice. ;;

Does anyone know how long something will stay in a cart? I'm beginning to think that one outfit isn't worth a frustrating hour of my life and might go work on actually sewing some dolls clothes.

 

Hang in there, I just finished checking out and I started over an hour ago. It was pretty painful but I finally got through to the confirmation page. I got Anne's Chibi outfit, an SD outfit called the LPB Flower Endemble (I love this skirt!!) and the SD Brown Hip Hop outfit.

 

Ooohhh.... I think I managed to check out (I managed to put in cc details and everything and got an order number even)... but switched between windows and suddenly the same page is showing a 503... @_@

.... My shopping cart is now empty... I chose to believe I managed to buy the items... >.<

edit: Wasn't able to get the brown non-label hip-hop set... If anyone has this in their shopping cart by mistake, just buy it and pm me, I'll buy it off you! *wishful thinking, I know *whacks self >.<

I've been going crazy. The only item I wanted was the blonde chignon bun wig so I was constantly refreshing its page before the event. Suddenly, the page went white and when it finally loaded about 45 seconds later the wig was out of stock. :'(

And then about 10 minutes later of refreshing, the wig came back in stock and I actually was able to put it in my cart. But when I checked out it was gone and out of stock again. AUGGGH!!!!

I really, really hope Volksusa gets the wig later. Since the original dolpa, I've only seen one on YJ and it was going for 100 bucks.

 

I just had Anne & Piccolo's outfits in my cart and went to confirm and now the much hated 503 pops up.

 

I've gotten as far as chosing payment method, and then it craps out to 503 again... I can't imagine going through this for a DOLL.... I want the outfit pretty bad, but luckily I have no life and nothing else to do on a Saturday night. :P

 

Nooo ;-; I hate work... The first company outfits I loved and they are gone... I was trying for the Yo outfits...

 

I can't even get onto the website right now x3;... so I'm just gonna have to hope that the F type animetic eyes aren't too overly popular and I can get them later xD...

I am so tired of refreshing this page. I wish I knew whether or not the wig is going to come back in stock or not because I plan on doing this until midnight and I'm going to hate it if I waste all that time for nothing.

I would say if you have it in your shopping cart, just hang in there until you find a spot on the server. I am tenacious like that.

Woo I have Piccolo's outfit in my cart! That's a start. XD Is it pretty much official that Anne's outfit is gone for good? Should I head to the check out and try for Anne's after I have Piccolo's?

 

I'm at work and have a major T1 line nearly all to myself and it was no advantage.

 

Amazingly, I had managed to get to step 4 in the cart, but decided to check the yo girl's outfit one more time and there was "a little bit left over" and I managed to get one. So, now I'm back in the shopping cart cycle, but it's much more worth it now that I have both outfits I wanted. And considering that shipping is the same for one or two, I'm glad that I won't have to pay for shipping twice.

 

UGH, I have to re-login to get my stuff confirmed! DX (But I have the items already!~ XD )

 

I finally got through the cart process -- I think. Should I be getting a confirmation email or not? I did get a confirmation page.

Oh, and there still seem to be some more chibi outfits. I hope that everyone got what they wanted!

 

Baah I have both items in my cart and now I can't get past the address step. >.< How long will they stay in my cart? I got Piccolo's around 9:55 and Anne's around 10:23.

 

I got my yo-boy's outfit at 5pm and didn't manage to fully check out until about 7:45, so I think that as long as you stay logged in, things will stay in your cart. Good luck!

 

There have been a few times where certain proceeding items like these show up later at Volks USA. They did for many items from the last Dolpa. The bag that you see for sale on the AE page right now is available at Volks USA right now too. So, I won't be surprised if they do.

 

Yay! Must be less people are trying now, because I got through payment with only the 503 error twice! I will have no naked Yos and I got Anne and Piccolo's!

I managed to get the boy chibi outfit but not the girl's. Of course the girl one is my favorite of all time.
Also managed to snag the SD size flowered dress set, and boots for the Amelia I sort of accidently bought last night.
This is SO exhausting at the computer - I can't imagine doing this in person!

I was able to order and pay for my SD16 boy outfit. After that, it took me two and a half hours to get to the place where I could order first the YoSD Chibi dress (boy); on a whim, I tried and succeeded to order the SD female outfit with the embroidered skirt, black top, and pink ruffled top, and after attempting to get the dratted SD16 female shoes I wanted three or four times, I shifted browsers and got them with the above two items. So I'm paying a fortune for shipping, since the things will come in two packages, but I'm happy. The only thing I really wanted that I'm not going to try for any more tonight was the strawberry blonde/red wig for Olivia.

 

I got a confirmation email almost immediately after my order FINALLY confirmed. Did you get a confirmation number? If you did, you should be fine.

 

I'm looking to buy an item from the after event, and have gotten all the way to final order screen, but I was wondering: does anyone know what the "other" method of payment is that's listed? I can't get into my credit card account right now, and I only just remembered that so I was trying to see if they had any other options for paying, and tried clicking on the "other" option, which just took me to the order confirmation page without telling me how I would be paying. I'm a little nervous to click the "order an item" button without knowing what I'm committing myself to. Can anyone help?

 

You can pay via PayPal. They'll send you a confirmation letter, just as if you'd paid via credit card. They'll give you your options. You contact imos @ volks.co.jp and confirm how you are going to pay.

 

Paypal maybe? I was shocked to see the INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS option.... If I had know about that, I might have tried for the dolls.... Nah....

Yes, I did! Thank you for reassuring me! I also checked my bank and my card has been charged. Wow! It definitely works out better to buy from Japan with our current exchange rate.

Sheri -- I'm so sorry that you didn't get the girl's as well. Keep checking throughout the evening though -- I was shocked when it came up again!

 

It won't let you select installments though... it just keeps directing you to pick an option, and the only one that works is one time payment.

 

If people are interested, the Hip Hop set for SD boys and girls is still available.

After a wasted day of refreshing I get back on.. only to find my cart empty. I've never had any problems like this in the past with order from Volks. So my guess is that it was the AE rush. (Just like the BC members only nightmare of last year)

But I've put in for my items another way and hope things will work out that way. But if not its back to sitting on ebay & stuff.

I'll just keep an eye on the Pom Pom hat
