DollZone Pink Bear Eyes help?

    1. Hello!
      I am sorry if there's already a thread like this but...
      I kinda lost touch with the BJD hobby a good many years and recently kinda rekindled my flame for it via purchasing the fullset of Pink Bear from DollZone.
      She's so freaking cute.
      only problem is-
      I don't like the color of her eyes, but I'm finding it really difficult to find suitable replacements.
      I want to keep the same 'big anime' look to them, just a slightly brighter, easier to photograph color for them.

      Does anyone know where I can buy such?
      I've spent over $100 on eyes from Etsy that are either too big, too awkward looking, or just dull. (Most of them being meant for SmartDolls)

      I would appreciate help finding the right place to buy them from. Thank you so much!
      (PS: The size is 14mm supposedly but me having bought 14mm eyes they ended up looking really small and odd on her.)

    2. I had the size issue with my Black Cat eyes. I think they look great but they wouldn’t match my boy’s style and I’m still trying to get rid of them.

      There are some really great anime eye bits, or you can do what I did and make your own with 14mm cabochons and mod podge. The ones that I almost got though, were the resin ones from Luts. They have these ones with oval irises that are absolutely stunning… but being resin eyes, they’re $40 a pop. They also have anime eyes at Volks but again, a bit pricey. Unfortunately I never found a decent answer for my budget aside from creating my own.

    3. Oh my gosh thank you so much for your thoughtful reply! I found some I really like on Luts. (They've come a longgg way with doll eyes since I was last in the hobby. @.@)

      I also looked at Volks, however- and the anime-type ones I saw were only like.. $11 a pop (which isn't bad, imo)
      Maybe they've gone down in price since you last looked?
