Well it's been a few months of my Devon hanging out on his bust, but with me changing eyes and wigs trying to give him more personality. Until finally I couldn't take it -- he HAD to go onto a body and become a full character. Here is Siobhán, my lost leprechaun boy.

I'm so happy Siobhán finally has legs! They may be floppy Mirodoll legs but still. :P He has temporarily stolen the 61cm boy body from Remus (Luts Abadon head), but depending on how things play out, I may just have to buy him his own body.

 

He is charming @emac. I can see why you want him around all the time.

So I was looking through my Flickr account and I found a fairly old picture of Silfe...it's amazing to me how much he's changed, and yet how I can still say "yep, that's him."

 

@Redfaery He's really lovely!

Does anyone have any owner pictures of DZ Wen, DZ's Giant Baby bodies, or any of the other Giant Babies?

 

The many faces of Silfe still lovely through all his changes (but then I'm terribly partial to feather eyelashes. And Silfe )

 

Does anyone happen to have the NB58-002 body with the B bust that they can share a photo of? I've seen lots of photos of the C bust, but none of B, and I was wondering how it looks (in and/or out of clothes).
I'm currently mulling over a hybrid and was wondering if I should get both busts and have one for 'normal' clothing and the other for low neckline, corsety-type outfits

 

Snow is still at processing stage... i really wish dollzone can speed up

May I ask a question, does DZ still only give out coas for their full dolls, body+head?

I think all companies should give one coa for the head and one coa for the body as a standard.

 

As I know, Dollzone give out certificates with full dolls and heads, and don't give it with bodies

 

So....Silfe told me he needed a sword. I told him he couldn't have one. It's not canon for his character, and I wasn't willing to shell out the money for a prop he'd use to poke me.

Spoiler alert: he got one anyway. (It's a letter opener and out of scale, but...it doesn't look too bad?)

 

He looks very happy with it!

I finally got off of my lazy butt and played with Val a bit. He got a new wig (Monique Adorabel) as it's longer than his old one was (Monique Pretty Girl). I'm amused that he refuses to wear masculine named wigs. At least he's comfortable in his masculinity, but is vain as all hell about his hair!

Also Val got a new toy!

It's a real pocket knife, with a mother of pearl inlaid handle! I saw it at a fair over the weekend and being the magpie I am and attracted to all things shiny I had to buy it. Val of course stole it from me and held it without any assistance!

 

Redfaery and IzabethS, Silfe and Val look pretty pleased. Gorgeous boys with brand-new pointy toys.

Always good to see them!

You know, I don't think anybody got their Uan/Nan dolls yet I'd love to see them tho, I love DZ sculpts. I'm still thinking which of their dolls I want the most(which is a very hard decision)

 

Not sure if you've done this yet, but you can use the magnifying glass and search for the various doll sculpts (Ie: Dollzone Riven) and find various picture galleries. Not all dolls will have them but a lot of them you can at least find a picture or two

Thank you so much! Technically, I have a Raymond hybrid who needs painting, and a chen I’m still figuring out the character of, but my Gene is a character I’ve had for almost four years who’s just rejected all my attempts to shell him, so I hope this works!

 

Don't worry about "barging in" @Chameleon this is the nicest group of people I've come across in the hobby. I'd love to see your other guys, too!

I'm planning to buy this doll, to become the body for my character, Julep. He's a boy, but I like the soft look of this body, it fits him. ^-^ I was wondering if anyone knows the name of this model, if it has one?

It's just that "Dollzone girl NB56-001" is kind of a mouthful, you know?
It doesn't really matter honestly, but I'm so excited to finally have my own, real Julep...

I don't think there's a name for it because it's just a body, not a full doll. A body can be mixed and matched with virtually anything. It's usually unique facial sculpts that get "human" names.
Here's the body on the doll-zone website, just in case you needed further info www.doll-zone.com

 

When there are multiple bodies for a certain category of dolls it's best to know the number. Sometimes with discontinued bodies it's nice to know what you are looking at. So far the only bodies I know of that have names attached to them are Dollshe's.

 

I recall Dollzone running an event recently where they referred to that body as "Giant Baby", which made me smile. If I ever get one, you better believe I'll be calling them that all the time. "Stand still you giant baby!".

 

Hi, I'm new to this thread. I didn't really get a 'new' doll, but I just got an old 68 cm body for my even older Wing-1 head that I found second-hand a few months ago.
So I finally have my big Dollzone boy - after stalking this thread for years... I'll have to see whether I can get a picture of him - he'll need to borrow some hair and clothes, though.

Absolutely!
It's amazing the difference a really nice suit can make. It's kinda funny to think my boss is kind of a big deal in public entity defense when he's loafing around the office in ratty cargo shorts and flip-flops, but he shows up on a day he has court in a flawlessly tailored 3 piece suit and it's like oh, right, you are the Senior Partner(TM) who represents most of the Community College Districts in northern California (and a fair number of Cities, Counties and School Districts too. The other Senior Partners represent basically All The Police Departments in a six hour driving radius )

I love the older ones, too. I always wanted Wing and/or Alpha, but they were both discontinued while I was being distracted by my army of tinies...
I came across a very yellowed pink skin Wing-1 head, and a nice (not very discoloured) yellow skin body, and it's a great match. I had expected to have to fiddle with the face-up, but if anything in real life his head is yellower than the body!!



His pants are stolen from my Resinsoul boys, and the wig was one I had floating around - it's a bit girly, but it's actually growing on me...

 

@Fairy Milliner He looks great for an old man. I love that face and the wig color suits him.

I gave Master Tam a bit of an overhaul...he's answering to "Talon" now, for reasons that may or may not be obvious from this picture.
