Dolly Zone Discussion

For some reason the name feels familiar, but I don't remember where I saw someone talking about it...might have been an offhand instagram post, or i also saw them on Alice's but didn't look further into it. But looking at the bodies, OMG they're adorable! And I like the amount of extra hands they have! I wonder how accurate the pic of their resin is. There's a very low chance there's resin comparisons floating around but it looks like the white might match my AS baby gus who's in need of a new body.

The faces they have are really cute too. Rabbit and little bear especially.

Edit: also, for the current price ($81) and regular price ($90), extra hands, the neck sizes like you said, the beast & human body, it really isn't a bad hybrid option.

 

I believe (as the name implies) they are an offshoot of Dollzone specifically for smaller dolls.The Dollzone Weibo did a lot of advertising for Dollyzone when they first appeared.

I bought one of their bodies for a hybrid a few months ago! I love the smaller neck options.

Nope, they haven't shipped it yet. When I actually looked back at my order date I've only been waiting for almost 2 months though In all of the official display videos the posing looks very good, so I'm excited!

 

The bodies do look very cute! And I personally love the proportions. Might give it a shot too and order one. I am starting to sculpt a 1/6 head and I believe it would be nice to have a base body to play around.

 

I actually just ordered a little mushroom (beast version) from Alice collections a few days ago! I adore mushrooms and I fell in love w the cute lil ears. Also the body is so chubby and cute, couldn't say no
can't wait for them to arrive! not sure on wait time

 

please let us know what Alice says about wait time!

I just read the description, but if Alice’s is saying otherwise I’d probably go with what they said. The information from DollyZone is probably the time the company takes to make it but Alice’s would have to add ordering and processing times. Dealer orders definitely take longer.

 

A Little Mushroom is so cute, I'm definitely going to get her. Hopefully, the small neck will look fine with her head (there are no other options at Alice's now).

 

oh that is weird, when I ordered the Fullset there was an option for other neck sizes, they must've removed it.. I agree with emailing them about it!

 

@Tagath @strawberry_parade ah, that's really weird, I didn't look at the non-limited version, but I do remember that initially there was choice for the Fullset. It's not that I really want a larger neck though, I'm just not sure which would be better for the head of that size... @strawberry_parade which neck size did you choose?

 

@elsie_f I'm pretty sure I just ended up getting the small, I remember mulling over which size to get for a while and just settled on the small one lol

My Dollyzone body arrived yesterday! I ordered direct from their taobao on 7/9 and it arrived 9/20 (though I delayed shipping it to myself a little bit after it arrived at my agent's warehouse), so 2-4 months seems like a really accurate time frame.

It's an adorable little body, but so tiny! Somehow even smaller than I expected. It ended out not really working out for the hybrid I had planned, but it's cute nonetheless. The posing is a bit restricted by how small it is and how chubby the limbs are, but in general it poses really well. It stands super steady.

@PhDolls I was planning to use it for my H.Minor PP head, which is oversized with a tiny neck. Unfortunately the neck was still too small even for this body, and the color is off.

I can tell it would be a really cute hybrid if the color and neck were right, though. And it definitely has the stability to support a big heavy head.

@Tagath Honestly I don't really have any specific plans at this point! I considered modding it so the head would fit, but the color mismatch is too noticeable. I'm sure I'll find an excuse to use it sooner or later though

so waiting update for ya'll
in 11 days I'll hit the 3 month mark, I'm doubting my doll will be shipped out by then as its a Fullset plus the wait time was marked 3-6 months. Hoping that it doesn't take 6 months but I heard that Dollzone is notorious for slow shipping so.. hoping that's not a case for their offshoot brands...
anyways I'm still excited for there. arrival! Realizing how close the 3 month mark is reminded me that I need to order them some eyes as I'm not a big fan of the green ones that come with the fullset..

Just ordered The BonBon Fullset straight from their taobao! I'm wondering also if Dollyzone talk would be aloud in the Dollzone Waiting Room...

 

Does anyone know if DollyZone resin colors are the same as Dollzone? Given they're sister companies (I think), they may be the same/similar, right?

I'm very interested in the centaur body but dislike the BonBon head unfortunately. Would love Little Mushroom's head on the centaur body and will later be asking if I could get that combo (when I have the funds to do so). But I am assuming they'll say no so looking into hybrid options atm.

 

so after 5 months of waiting and just over a week of shipping, My little beast finally arrived!!!! he's so freakin cute, im so happy :,)))
I can't wait to post pics of him but for now its super late where I live so it'll have to wait til later!
I'll also give a little review of the body's possibility for those interested in the beast body!

Can anyone confirm what kind of white Dollyzone's white is? Is it snow white, pink white or ivory white? I'm trying to match a Kaniboon Mia White colour head

 

Thank you for the confirmation! That sounds like it would work as the Kaniboom head has a slight peach tone so won't go quite as well with yellow toned whites. But if it's snow white then I can bring in a little colour with some body blushing

 

I don't know where people host photos these days and this thread doesn't appear very active, but I do have a Dollyzone Little Mushroom head in peach on the Dollzone b27-10 body in peach now, and the resin does match.

 

Has anyone ordered a Dollyzone Vulture Kitty? And if so, has anyone gotten theirs yet? I ordered a nude one in Mia pink with face and body blushing and I'm hoping she's is shipped soon.

 

I did! I ordered mine in December through Alice’s Collections. I haven’t received a shipping notice yet, but I’m hoping it’ll happen any week now.

EDIT: And I literally just now got a shipping notice for her. Amazing

 

I don't know if it's something with BJDivas or with Dollyzone. But I still haven't gotten mine and it's been almost a year since other folks started getting theirs. Just getting kind of frustrated at this point and I don't want to harass BJDivas too much about it, so I haven't been emailing them more than once every 3-4 months to ask about status.

 

Honestly, you might need to lean on Divas a little more for more info… If it’s been a year, this might be more on them than on DollyZone. Unfortunately Divas the past few year or two have been…having troubles with punctuality in delivering dolls to put it lightly… consistent follow up at this point wouldn’t really be harassing, tbh.

 

I sent them a new email yesterday and finally was told it had come in! So hopefully they will be shipping it in the next day or two. Feels like it's been forever.
