How will you sleep tonight?! ;)

    6. Haha I'm hoping that when I sleep, Eloise will protect me from Miette's killer scowl!! Right, this is my last pic for tonight, I have lots more but I'll spam up the DT Girls pic request thread tomorrow ;) I don't feel Hannah is quite as well 'put together' yet, but I'll give her a bit more love on the weekend and see if we can find her style!

    7. The girls look amazing! And I love Eloise' outfit. :)

    8. Almaxaquotal, who made the face ups of these 2 stunning beauties?? *___* Awesome work!!!
I love them both.. !! dunno which one is my fave!!!

    9. I am speechless as well over these two alma. They are stunning! (and that's an understatement) So worth the wait I'm sure. Miette's wig suits her to a tee. What fun you are going to have with them.

    10. Alma, Sighhhhh.... Thanks for my morning fix!!

    11. Alma - Your girls are amazing...such beautiful, vibrant face ups. such awesome looks for them.

Mikkio, your Seola looks wonderful in her new outfit....:fangirl:

Here's a quick pic of my Sia & Elysia (with LW Carol head on DT 7 body) so pouty!!!.....

Sia & Elysia are on the DT Elf bodies :)

    17. Wow, all 3 girls are lovely! Hmm, may have to check out that Leeke head. :)

    18. Adorable trio xen. Everything about them looks wonderful. The dresses are gorgeous. Elysia's dress is TDF, I love the toille on Sia, and that sweet liitle darling is adorable in her littl pink rosettes. Did you make these dresses?

    19. Xen - your girls are gorgeous. I might just have to get a Sia. I really like her. What colour of skin are they? I usually get white but these look darker and I like the look. The dresses are very pretty. They all blend in together nicely.

    20. Great photo of them all xen

I like how you manage to get them looking pouty but not grumpy.......and Elysia looks so pretty and I love how you have set her eyes

    21. Little Susie is gorgeous! Love her cheeks and lips, beautifully done.

    22. New outfits for Seola, created by Helantias, and Sia,created by Lillilace.
      http://[IMG]

    23. I really do love how you style your dolls Mikki

And a random photo of Sorrel here....

      Spring

I didn't pose her really well here but I was trying so hard to get the little lambs in the photo too

    24. Just a little Emilia spam. She got some new sandals and she's learning to love posing for me.

    25. Isn't it the best?! I got Jean-Pierre's [AiL Bertram] body today, there goes my evening! Here is my little family :) I couldn't love my girls (and boys) more!

    26. Just in time, elnuyn. Eliana has a new dress and wants to show it off. Poor little girl's been feeling a little neglected.

    27. And one more. This should hold you over until your baby comes home.
[IMG]I gave her the dark eyes. Not sure if I like them or not yet.

    28. Here is my Mini Elysia in her latest outfit. It is another one from Val Z's last collection for Haute doll. I am surprised at how well it fit the DT 7 year body.

    29. After taking my girls to the NYC meetup yesterday, it was finally such a nice day that we stopped for a few photos by the Hudson River on the way home. It was a bit hazy out, but you can make out the city and the George Washington bridge in the background. The girls loved being outside and loved playing on the rocks.

    30. And miss Emilia. wanting nothing more than to pose like a princess
      [IMG]

    31. My camera died before I could take many photos, but I did get one shot of the two of them together:

You really wouldn't think they were the same head sculpt (until you look at them both in profile, side by side). Pixie looks so much older and more sophisticated than my little boy.

      Teddy

    32. Too right they are!!! I would love a paletan Ganga :D

And here is my photo (well taken by my husband) of Teddy's Arin and my Pixie (paletan Arin)

They just look so different :D

And Pixie's outfit is put together from a variety of places theresa
The leggings from Dale Rae in Zaoll size (though they fit my SD CH girls perfectly too) the cardigan is a SD Sadol one and the dress is a SD Angel-Rock-Candy one.
All of it is a perfect fit to the DTelfbody:aheartbea

In fact is everyone else finding that the DT eldbody is actually easy to find clothes for?
      Or am I just lucky?

    33. Hi there, Camelia's arrived 2 hours ago ^^
Here she's with my wonderful Elyza, her cousin!

The eyes she's wearing are too big for her :( I've to buy them again! Darn it! The wig is not very beautiful for the color, but I should get another one in the future.
Beyond these things, there's something strange about her. She's a really big head O.o she should be younger than Elyza but her head is so big next to hers XD
They don't fit each other perfectly to me! I'm not sure sure sure I like Camelia, yet.
      Dunno..
      :S
Anyway, she's my BF's B-day present, so I don't want to tell him , yet, I'm not sure if keeping her or not.
And I don't want to tell Elyza XD
      eheh
I think Dollstown are particular but maybe they fit only with other DT girls. I just find this size of head, a little bit odd.
      What u think?

    34. I changed Camelia's wig and also her age xD she's 16 years old. While Elyza is about 12 .
Made this to justify the different size of their heads XD believe it or not, Elyza is taller, though! Lol XD
      [IMG]

Mikkio, your Hannah is beautiful! Love her wig!

    35. DT heads are on the large side

My Arin's head would work on a Volks SD10 body, it's actually slightly bigger than two of the RML heads I have on SD10 bodies. Dt bodies are chuunkier than other bodies of similar heights, so the bigger heads work well on them.

I doubt very much whether DT heads that work on the 7 and 5 year bodies would work on regular MSD bodies without looking massively bobble-headed.... which is fine if you like the bobble-headed look for your dolls, but I don't like it.

Here's my Arin in a comparison shot with a Volks MSDbody, a DOD/Doc mini body, and a Kid Delf body:

Body is much chunkier and head way to big to work on (or look in-proportion with) any of the more "regular" Mini sized bodies.

      Teddy

    36. The DT 7 and 5 yo dolls are in the same proportion as a 5 or 7 yo Asian girl. I happen to have a real girl at home (my daughter who is now 7 1/2) - the comparison is 1 cm to 1 inch. Since I am sewing for them both I use this ratio all the time. I've also used it in getting props. My Adult SD dolls pose well as adults with the girls - I think that the DT are really child sized SD dolls. I'll post a picture of Zoe in a chair that also handles the SDs

The dolly she is reading to is my daughter's miniriz (planetdoll). We were doing the photo shoot together.

    37. Here is a link to the DT page with the elfbody

      http://dollstown.com/elf.htm

You can see all the heads that work with it.

Link to the page with the DT7 body

      http://dollstown.com/zboard/view.php?id=englishorder&no=1909

Just scroll down on each page and you can see how different they look

In this photo of Teddy's you can see the difference in the two bodies.

My Arin girl is on the DT elfbody and Teddy's Arin lad is on the DT7 body, but the heads are the same size :)

    38. Thanks so much, Jane!!
Oh, I love the Elfdoll body.. it's so delicate and definitively more mature than the 7 years old..
but it's so high priced T.T
But gosh, so well realized.. those hands.. lovely!
A little spam pic of my Camy..
Need those eyes in the correct sizeeeeee! Don't want others :( but these are impossible to find! >.>

    39. [IMG]

Oh wow, she's beautiful! Is that Mini-Elysia on the 5 year body??

When you post a pic from Flickr or Photobucket, this is the bit you want: http:// i1104.photobucket.com/albums/h339/Sortilege17/IMG_0621.jpg Everything from http to .jpg :)

Sorry for all the edits, I'm just blown away by how lovely she is, that head looks perfect on that body! Gives me something to ponder.

    40. I want to show off my girls in their Easter dresses and bonnets.
This is Miss Zoe - as always with attitude. I'm thinking of doing a costume with her as the young Marie Antoinette.

    41. And this is Miss Millie. I made the dress to try to convince my daughter that she wanted one like it. It didn't convince her and she decided on a different pattern. But I just love the pattern.

I think Miss Millie is going to be channeling the young Queen Elizabeth I soon.
      Thanks for looking.

    42. Hi thereeee!!! I wanna see your beauties..where is all your spam? ^^
      I'll start with Camelia :P
      eheh
      [IMG]
with her beloved cousin Elyza (my Fave fave fave fave fave doll ever and forever.. she's alive and the others are dolls , I swear XD )
I changed Camy's eyes (I had these in 15 mm but these other ones are too much small >.>)
Still undecided about her.. hope she'll grow on me once I get her new eyes in the correct size..
I like her as a doll, and I love seeing her with my Elyza.. but dunno.. yet.
      we'll see!

    43. I just have to share a photo of Emilia in her new jeans from Sharon (of Spain). She made them for her with just measurements that I provided. I am thrilled with the results! Sharons work is so detailed and beautiful. Photo can't do it justice. Here she is.
      [IMG][IMG]

    44. Sharon is great - she made an entire outfit I designed for my DT elf body based just on measurements too - working just from a drawing of the design I sent her:
      Culottes and alternative skirt variations

      Teddy

    45. Well I am going to add a random photo here of Susie (my Ganga)

She was talking to her friend Millie (a Sia on the DT5 body) and wishing they could meet up again.
I do love these DT dolls :)

    46. Jane - Millie wants to give Susie another wave!

    47. I am so sorry pinkhart I really don't know where the eyes came from
They came with her but I wouldn't be suprised if they are the ones that DT used to send out with their dolls.

Another photo of Susie from yesterday....

Mikki I smile each time I see this wig on her, it is just so Susie ....thank you so much!

    48. Glad to be of help Teddy!

And look what lucky little Susie got today, my friend Sally (Millie lives with her) made this wonderful little dress for her :D

It is absolutely perfect for her. :aheartbea

And I have found that the DT7 body can wear Musedoll petite shoes! :o

    49. Here's Ellie in the new dress I made for her and one of Gill's amazing cardies. I adapted a MHD Kaye Wiggs pattern by shortening the bodice and taking it in half an inch front and back. I've also made other coordinating pieces for the winter from various MHD patterns.

It's not a great photo, I'm afraid, but it's the best I could manage outside today. Ellie had got a bit dishevelled by the time I found somewhere suitable.

    50. Hilarie,
She is wonderful! And I like her dress)) Is it your hand-made?

    51. Thank you. I adapted her dress from the MHD Designs 'Simplicite' pattern using three coordinating quilting cottons (you can't see the third as I just used it to line the bodice).

    52. The girls and I got a chance to play today. I thought I'd share a picture of Millie resting with her dog.

      [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/madavidmd/567
Both she and Zoe got into the wigs that are waiting for my Ganga.

    53. Your girls are so cute, Xiaoli - what lovely playsuits and their wigs are wonderful!

They look like they are having a lot of fun and I see they have rabbits - my Millie is obsessed with rabbits, but today she has a new toy to play with, much to Noah's horror -
      [IMG]

    54. Emilia is really feeling girly. Here she is in her Val Z dress, the same one Nemesia has on her 7yr old, and a wig I bought for her before she arrived to me. The wig is temporary, as I think her straight one suits her better, but I thought I'd try it. It took me about ten minutes to get her hands through the sleeves of this dress (very, very carefully). I was too lazy to remove her hands.
This girl is so much fun to dress. The elf body seems to bring life to anything that's put on it.

      [IMG][IMG]

I had the same issue theresa, but managed it with patience too. I gave her an under-slip that helped shape it on the seven year body. Here she is with her new red wig. Just recently I did a body switch and put Mini Elysia on the 5 year body and now Seola is enjoying the dress. It amazes me how much younger Mini Elysia looks on the 5 year old body!

    56. Thanks theresa! :) Seola really loves her new wig. I had a Ganga head on my 5 year body & I noticed that Mini Elysia's head looked smaller so I thought I would try putting her on it instead. She looks like a totally different doll. Here is one more shot of her in the Val Z. dress & the 7 year body (before the switch).

    58. Susie (Ganga) is waiting to see Seola too :3nodding:
