Shopping Dollsphere

Hmm... They seem to be pretty new? I managed to find their Instagram and it looks like they only started posting in mid-May this year.

From a quick look, they seem like a legit dealer. There doesn't seem to be any obvious red flags. But since they've been around for less than 2 months, there probably aren't really any reviews yet about their service, especially since doll preorders typically take around 3-4 months to fulfill.

 

In curiosity, I looked at some of the brands they're carrying, and so far none of the companies I checked list them as an official seller. For me, that's a reason to avoid.

 

Established dealers like Clover-Singing, Legend Doll and Alice's Collection usually aren't listed as official dealers for a lot of the companies and artists they have listed products for though.

Anyway, one artist, H Mao/Hatcat does list them as an official international sales agent on their Instagram profile.

 

Hi, I was thinking about to buy a head from them, too but hearing there are many problems with other site like Dolllection, so a bit hesitating...
H猫 is a well-known account on Weibo and other artist tuncai1 is also stated dollspher is their international agent.

 

Unfortunately, the whole MyDollection fiasco is just going to making it so much harder for any new legit dealer starting out...

Everyone is just going to be wary of new dealers for now. And the paradox is that with no one being willing to give them a try, it will just make it even more difficult for them to build up a positive reputation. I can certainly understand the hesitancy and suspicion though.

At least the difference seems to be that Dollsphere now has at least two artists vouching for them by calling them their international agent?

I usually buy via Taobao agents, if links could be found.
Starting from July 1st, China will be stepping up inspections of terminal devices. Not sure is this only for foreigners or for Chinese people too?

 

Another Chinese artist called Babel Tower 9 has called Dollsphere their international agent on their Instagram profile.

 

Bumping this up to know if anyone has bought from this dealer and how was it?
I just found them today and they have a doll I'm interested in but I'm quite suspicious of them even taking into consideration a couple of artists have dealings with them.
I read someone had contacted impldoll to ask if they were official dealers (because they do sell from impldoll) and impldoll denied it. On the other hand one of dollsphere's stories on their instagram suggests they sold a dollshe head to someone, what I guess would make sense if they sold it second hand but it did seem new and they have it on their feedback section as a dealer transaction. It's weird.
I can't find much in terms of reviews from people and their website seems quite rudimentary.
So has anyone bought from them or anyone has more information on them? Are they legit or kinda sus better avoid?

 

Also here for more information on dollsphere. Moonlit Wonder (yuexiao) has also referred me to dollsphere when I inquired about buying their dolls.

 

I did zero research and impulse bought. So I guess I volunteer as tribute... >.>

They had a sale on the ufdoll 75 boys and thought why not, get a nice tan for cheap. I think they were in stock. I think it took a week or two to be marked as shipped? My experience thus far they sent a tracking number where I had to use Google translate to use because only a Chinese language website recognized it. 17 track couldn't read it.

I messaged them on ig and I got an answer like within a few hours. They sent the tracker and translated for me and told me the estimated date it would arrive stateside and that I should be able to track it then.

After the 7th I'll let y'all know if the tracking actually works *shrugs*

I was so excited that I COULD get a cheap doll, I don't stop and think if I SHOULD

 

Which shipping company did they use? My first thought was SF Express as most 3rd party sites have trouble with SF Express tracking numbers. You have to use SF Express' own tracking site. But SF Express does have an international tracking site that's in English, so it doesn't sound like it from your description.

Have you tried Parcelsapp? They are usually better than 17 Track in my experience. (Though they can't track SF Express either.)

He's on the way, so I can say for sure when he gets here. Making sure he's been packaged properly. Dollsphere did take it on themselves to email me recently since he has been stuck in customs. Never had a doll stuck that long, so I dunno if theyre on top of their paper work to make it a smooth transition

 

I also bought a Ufdoll body from them. The doll arrived in less than 2 weeks here in Europe. Since it didn't get stuck in customs, i assume their shipping company already includes some import taxes in their prices.

 

Purchased a head back in mid September, and it's just shipped (Yanwen). I'll update once it arrives.

I ordered an artist head in early August, and due to the artist themself rescheduling the shipping and forgetting my order it’s been delayed early November. Dollsphere made sure to contact me to inform me on these delays on Instagram thankfully, and I’m currently tracking it’s shipping as it’s in my country now.
So overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase!

For those who successfully ordered from them, about how much was the shipping cost? I saw under their "shipping" page, they say the shipping at check out is an estimate and then they email you once the real shipping amount once the product has been packaged (and I assume you pay the difference like Dollyteria?), so is the total amount of shipping still reasonable? I'm interested in some of their heads, but am a bit afraid of being blindsided by super high shipping costs after purchase.

 

I pre-ordered Muhan's Doll Puppy head in October and received the parcel around the same time others were getting their preorders from other agents. (There ended up being a bit of a mixup where mine and another customers' parcels had been sent to each other, but Joey at Dollsphere was very communicative and covered the cost of shipping for us to swap the heads back)

Shipping was quoted as $14.00 for the one head to the UK and did not change upon despatch. It took about 2 weeks to arrive.

I've just put in a second order for another head. I think actually having something go not quite right, but be dealt with so quickly and easily was really reassuring

I was told that US customs just said they would be releasing dollsphere's shipment soon, it has been held up cause they plan to destroy contraband that happened to be shipped with their products. My doll should be on the way soon. I am absolutely filming an opening in case something is busted...

Between this and a package UPS has lost TWICE I've been having weird luck with dolls, lately, lol. Something from beyond must be telling me to buy less.

So I had ordered from dollsphere in Sept, got a weird tracking number, it was shipped out in two weeks by Oct, and then spent the majority of the time in customs. They offered to make it right since even though it wasn't their fault with a partial refund, which I didn't ask for btw. He just came in and thankfully not damaged so I don't have to test their return policy.

They've updated me without prodding that it wasn't moving on their system, that u.s. customs had it, that someone else in the shipping container had something that had to be destroyed, and then when it was finally released with an estimate. Probably the best communication I've had with a company.

I think someone a while ago asked if it worked out, and I'd say splendidly so considering their attempts to mitigate circumstances outside of their control

 

I have a doll and a head (in the same order) that was on layaway with dollsphere. I've paid for part of the order and they sent the head to me on their own, I received it quick and easy. Small tiny tiny issue the magnet fell off which is normal, and I'm not happy with the makeup the head has, but that's not dollsphere's fault. Shipping for the head was $16.

The doll I have on layaway is still not fully paid, will update again in a few months.

 

Any updates on your layaway?

I am halfway through a layaway for a ANS59 body, and so far they've been great at communicating.
However, a few days ago I sent an email to ask where the order is at, in case I can pay off sooner. No reply to far... And, I've seen them active on Instagram in the last 24 hours.

I ordered a head and artist makeup on layaway, and I received a few days ago! I'm very happy with the service.

 

I’m so glad I found this thread it has put me at ease. Just ordered a Bastion SP head from Doll Sphere and while communication has been good so far I haven’t ordered a head from a doll company in like 10yrs… super nervous lol

I messaged them through Instagram, and they replied saying that the order was not ready.
Last month, before making my payment, I also asked if they wanted me to pay off my order early, but they asked that I stay with the scheduled payment amount.
In 3 days my last payment is due, and I will be asking when the order will be completed and ready to ship.

 

Oh man I’m glad I saw this thread before I bought anything from Dollsphere. I was tempted by some instagram BJD artists who has them listed as their international vendor. I am greatly interested in any information from people who have experience with their face up services.

 

Adding that I'm interested in seeing what other people's experience has been like as well. I like the dolls they offer, but it's been awhile since I've purchased a full doll from a distributor.

I ordered two heads through DollSphere on June 12th 2025, received a shipping notice on August 30th, and the package arrived on September 9th, definitely after the U.S.'s de minimis exemption supposedly ended.

1. The Yanwen tracking number I was given started with UK and ended with YP, which is not what I'm used to.
2. I was able to track the package all the way to delivery via 17track, but that number never showed up in the USPS system, despite 17track being able to tell me it was in their possession for half that time.
3. Only because I signed up for Informed Delivery did I get an email this morning letting me know USPS's tracking number for it.
4. The box was left in my mailbox with no mention of additional charges, possibly because the only visible shipping address was a warehouse in CA?
5. The entire process seems to have taken 10 days.

In other words, unless something else happens, it was surprisingly not an issue, though it would have been nice to have had the other tracking number earlier. That's not DollSphere's fault, though.

The head boxes had some slight dents from a lack of any additional padding between them and the outer box or each other, but otherwise they and the heads are in excellent condition, appear to be good quality, and exactly what I'd ordered.

Edit: Doing some belated poking around, it looks like Universal Parcel Tracking - Global Package Tracking might have given me a working USPS tracking number earlier, but NOT the same one USPS gave me.

 

I have ordered a Pencezero Riel head from them, but not on preorder - Dollsphere told me they had one in stock when I asked, and I got it plus the makeup service. I really wanted that head.

I had a few doubts as to where they pulled the head from because the preorder had ended a while ago, so I asked for details. Dollsphere gave me proof that they got the Pencezero stock from the artist directly and cleared it up.

Communication has been extremely quick (real time chat) but there were some comprehension problems which frustrated me a bit. First time I order from them so I've been extra wary but all seems good so far.

 

I forgot to update, but just want to say I received my doll from my layaway, went smoothly. Would order through them again

 

I love Dollsphere. I've ordered from them several times now. They ship through Yanwen, so the tracking numbers are weird, but things arrive with no problems. One exception: I did receive one body with a cracked shin, but the body was an upgrade from the one I ordered (Joey had an extra in stock), and I agreed to pay cost of shipping for the replacement shin piece (and got 2!). I suspect the crack was due to the way the doll was made and gave Joey feedback on what I suspect was an engineered weakness in the doll body (a huge L at the point where the knee peanut puts pressure on the inside of the shin).

I now have two dolls on pre-order with Dollsphere, and Joey found a DollZone X-NANA halfling for me long after the pre-order ended. Layaway is easy. Shipping to the US isn't bad, all things considered (tariffs, fees... ).
