Dollshe Waiting Room 12

Ok, you're right buuuut... Arsene is gorgeous haha I guess I'm not so worried cuz I've only been waiting for like five months for mine! I did send a message to Bjdivas but I'm still not sure!!! I want the Arsene body for Saint, for my Arsene I ordered the Mystic Pose Plus body but I've read it's not so great, also the Arsene body is gorgeous and has amazing details... What do I do?? Haha

 

I say go for it. Do the thing. I am waiting, myself, just cause I don't want to have even MORE layaways in case something happens with work shutting down due to the virus. I can handle the ones I have, but I don't want to add more till I know everything is gonna be steady again. Plus I need to save for a Ringdoll K. Hopefully there will be another good sale from Mr. Dollshe after this one. . . lord knows he didn't discontinue anything yet lol. Don't think that means what he thinks it means.

 

My boy has had the 'packing' status now over 3 weeks.

 

My Arsene is on his way to me. Wait time was just a couple of weeks short of a year!

@lorenav6661 I switched both my ordered Arsene and Adonis dolls to Arsene (originally pose body for both) through BJDivas after I bought an Arsene secondhand. I really like the posing of the Arsene body. I use it for about 5 floating heads that I swap out.

I am waiting since last May for my Arsene. Not sure what to do about the two Arsene heads. The new one will match the new body color, but I love the faceup I did for the secondhand one. Hmmmm.

 

Hmm....I wonder if my Arsene will be making an appearance any time soon then. Mine is also the big one...

 

You guys scared me for the long waiting list . I really love Bermann then I back and forth to the dollshe’s website ten times and couldn’t decide to purchase my shopping cart or not . One year - 2 years - 3 years ...it’s a long time to wait, with that time I can buy other dolls from other artists. How can I just imagine him and wait. Oh my gosh but Bermann so handsome . Does anyone gives me any advice please.

 

Now that they've shipped out the Dianas, it seems like they're moving on to the Arsenes? Are they shipping them out by sculpt? I'm still crossing my fingers for my Saint and Bermann to come home soon. I ordered them in August.

@GreyNia I understand your Bermann love because I love that boy too I decided to bite the bullet and get mine because I couldn't resist the price... I've also found that focusing on playing with the rest of my crew while I wait is really helpful On the other hand, you could try finding one on the second hand market if you don't want to wait. They'd tend to pop up from time to time, but aren't usually as cheap as the Dollshe discounted prices!

 

They haven't shipped out all the Dianas yet. Dollshe, your schedule continues to make no sense.

 

@kagami Yessss, he’s soooo handsome right?thank you so much for your advice. I’m still considering order another guy (same price with normal package: 1 body, 1 head) or just pay my Bermann and forgetting to the day I receive him. I wish Mr. DollShe sold 1 body + 1head then delivered dolls immediately after 2 or 3 months.
Oh, and sorry for another question: Will honey resin take a long long time than others oriental resin? Because I’m choosing between Peach Fresh (honey) and copper oriental (pure). Which one is better

@GreyNia I'd say if you plan to get him to just forget that he's coming and then be pleasantly surprised when you get the shipping notice! I'm currently on 7months and counting~

It doesn't say anywhere on their website that honey skin takes longer to produce, just that it will cost more and is more durable! It's ultimately up to you which one you prefer as well.

Check out this instagram. The owner as 2 honey resin Dollshe dolls (Arsene and Diana). This post also shows 2 honey resin dolls vs. the same doll in Copper Oriental! Visually, it's all about the way the honey resin catches the light, I think.. Some people like the translucency, while others are fine with standard resin.

I have a Copper Oriental doll and I love his colour so much, but have never seen a honey resin in person for comparison.. I ordered my Saint in Copper Oriental and my Bermann in Oriental.

*sigh* I should have known that their "2-3 weeks" isn't actually 2-3 weeks in the real world. That was a month ago. Well, here's to watching the Arsenes roll in then. *raises glass*

 

I'm in for the long haul waiting on a dollshe Diana and arsene in copper oriental. I took the long layaway from bjdivas because why not lol

 

I don't think the big sales will end anytime soon! I've been wanting a Loong Soul doll but they're way more expensive than Dollshe dolls with these crazy discounts, that's what makes me think I should get another one, the sooner the better since it takes them forever to make them haha.
I live in México, things are okay here for now, to be honest I feel like things will get better soon, and I really hope they do. Maybe it's the smartest thing to do and wait a little bit before getting another layaway!

@kagami OMG! That’s amazingly help! The first time I saw honey skin was Dollshe website, the real lighting on your instagram link gave me another felling. I don’t like transparent effect that much. Now I clear my mind and relax thanks to your wonderful suggestions.

Does BJDivas only ship once a week? There's been absolutely no movement on my tracking number

 

@Yumeko-chan It might be shelter-in-place orders slowing the mail down. I know the shutdowns are slowing things here in my city, at least.

 

I had a shipping notice last Monday for my Tian Bao eyes, then nothing. They left 2 days later on Wednesday. It took 5 days to get here on the east coast due to the weekend. It was also delayed en route for a day. Probably would have been 3 days.

How long have you been waiting?

 

I got my tracking number on the 13th.

 

@Yumeko-chan from my experience, it's quite common for tracking numbers to not update for a few days lately, due to the virus thing. It doesn't mean that the package isn't on the way, it just means delays in the tracking system

 

Posting here for the first time... I am currently waiting for my Dollshe Diana. I asked them when they can ship it and they said after 5 months. However, due to COVID-19 and S.Korea being one of the highest cases of people infected by the virus, there could be some delay too. I am not sure if S.Korea is already in lockdown... I just hope everyone is safe and I don't mind waiting for it...

Tracking number finally updated. It really didn't get sent out until this morning *headdesk* Well, at least now she's truly on her way home!

 

So my wedding in Mexico was officially postponed due to the coronavirus, I am totally heartbroken, kinda just sent a message to Bjdivas telling them I want a Classic Maxi Saint to cheer me up, it's starting to get crazy in here, it's scary, I hope you're all safe!!

I'm waiting on a Saint and a Khan, too! (both fashion size). It'll be a year in a week. I ordered Saint in pale and Khan in oriental copper. I hope I don't have a bad taste from all the waiting and wind up resenting the company.

just got my first invoice for my Saint's 12 month layaway haha I already knew about the super long wait times so maybe that makes it better for me, I'm expecting to wait for at least a year for each boy, but I'm not sure if I'd be mad and bitter if they take over 3 years, I probably would be.
Right now I'm really excited about them though, looking at other owners pictures almost daily thinking what I'll do with them when they get here.

I have a question for the people who have the mystic body! Does the penis part comes with the body? Whenever I see pictures of box openings they don't have it but I'm not sure if they have to censor them or if they don't come with the body.

 

Yeah so the Dollshe waiting times make me so bitter that out of this bitterness I end up throwing more money at them every single time.
Please, can somebody explain to me precisely why I don't need a classic maxi Arsene? I'm already paying for Adonis, Amanda and two Dianas, I seriously don't have the space for any more big dolls, and yet here I am... Haven't ordered an Arsene YET, but with the way my mind works, it seems a matter of time.

@lorenav6661 Yes, the mystic body does come with at least one, I actually didn't look in the bag to see if there was more than one, though. It also comes with a little cap piece so you can choose whether to actually use it. It's attached with a thin string that's strung up through the head

Same thing happened to me and now I have a 12 month layaway during an economic crisis haha but they'll make me happy... Someday... They're gonna be my first 1/3 bjd's, don't have any 1/4 either but they're probably really cute!! Yeah yeah, you should get both dolls, definitely haha or maybe wait a little bit to see if it's still safe to order from Dollshe, I'm sure there will be many more sales

Hey peeps. Just checking in. Some crazy stuff going on, so I haven't checked DoA in a while. Plus I decided not to buy any doll-related things for Lent, so with that and the virus (including showing symptoms, but couldn't get tested here in California because they're saving the tests for severe cases only), dolls got pushed to the back of my mind. Anyone got any updates on Classic Maxi Amanda, especially in lighter Pure colors?

EMS has temporarily halted all inbound mail by air to North America due to extremely limited inbound flights (COVID-19 settling and becoming the new epicenter in America, but this also impacts Canada). They anticipate normal business to resume in May. I was offered mail by sea cargo, but that takes 3+ months to arrive, likely more in these uncertain times. It's probably best to have dealers/makers hold doll items, especially medium to large boxes, until the post resumes normal functions.
