Hey does anyone know if Dollshe deleted accounts in the past...four years? D:
I used to have one, I bought a doll from them! but it's gone now. My email isn't on file and neither is the only username I ever use on doll websites....

 

They switched servers and had everyone transfer over so I guess the answer is yes they did.

I only bought two things from them, so it's not the loss of say, if Dollmore lost me *omgsomanyordersdead*, but at least I would have had some record of ordering from them in the past....

 

Guys I need your HALP! So the wigs I ordered for my incoming Saint arrived and they fit my Slim MSD boy's head perfectly. I know they're too small for my Saint. I ordered to wig in the 7-8 inch size knowing his head is small. The thing is I don't know his head circumference. On the wigs it says that they are 18cm. Does anyone here have a Saint? If so please help, my boy is arriving home pretty soon.

 

My Saint's noggin is about 20cm. The wigs may stretch to fit that but you might have been sent 6-7 wigs if they fit a slim mini perfectly and snugly

 

@Rosslyn Thank you for your response. The wigs I bought say on the pack that they are 18cm which is def too small. I ordered the 7-8 size which on the website says it fits (18-19 cm) *sigh* If only I knew his circumference before then I would of ordered the next size up 8-8.5 inch that fits (20-21 cm) *facepalm* Welp it works out that it fits my MSDs one of the wigs is going to a future doll I'm planning to get and the other is being worn by my slim MSD boy. XD I'll wait till my Saint actually arrives before ordering again. Thanks for your help. XD

@Ultraviolet707 the way i understand, you're correct, the numbering on wigs is based on inches...while doll measurements are in cm. 7-8 inches is 18 to 20.5 cm. my Saint's head is 20 cm as well. sooooo the wig you bought was marked wrong... you should contact the guy you got it from and get an explanation. sounds like false advertising to me to be honest.

mean while my 2 Grant heads and Orijean have arrived!!!!! I have almost no time to give them all a faceup but did this for one of my grant heads!!

Thanks my hair is mostly grey not white so I still have to bleach it for the color to be vibrant. Weirdly the bleach doesn't affect the colored hair. My guys used to wear colorful hair I have plenty of wigs but atm all my SD+ have natural colors.
I am looking forward to what you have planned for Orijean. Me and mine are still going around and around about who he is. He just needs to speak a little louder, I'm going deaf.

So just new to the bjd thing and i found my grail doll a 5th motif venitu

I'm absolutely in love with that sculpt. there is one on ebay for about $1500 usd but with the AUS dollar so low and the customs cost i'm up for probably twice that.

do these dolls pop up often? i dont have the cash now but was just wondering

 

@MaryamDN While on the site yesterday I saw that in the description they put what the wigs measure in cm. If only I knew what circumference Saint's head was first then I would of ordered the next size up. Their wigs do seem to be on the small side, because the wigs I got should not fit my slim MSDs little heads that snugly. But ah well at least I can use the wigs. What I plan to do now is wait for my Saint to come and measure his head before ordering more wigs. Thanks for your help! Congrats on your heads arriving and Arro sure looks awesome! XD

@Atomicautumn OMG Venitu is a grail of mine too I adore that sculpt so much its pains me that I couldn't get him, I've been stalking the Marketplace for him since I saw him. He doesn't really pop up alot on here I just know it isn't gonna be easy to get a hold of him. and plz beware of ebay that place can't always be trusted. I wish you luck on your on going search for him.

@Atomicautumn 1. Like @Ultraviolet707 said, be careful on ebay. 2. He's pretty rare, so you'll be in for high prices and lots of stalking the second hand market. 3. I think 5th motif has a facebook where new releases are announced? You may want to do some googling. ^^

 

you're better off waiting for one to pop up of market place here...it's bound to happen, i wouldn't buy from ebay though... too risky. i'd contact fifth motif/ dollshe and see if you can still get one straight from them, it'll probably be cheaper as well or aqbout the same price.

new hair is always exciting. :/ i'm worried i might not bond with Orijean... my group is getting more and more realistic and he's so stylized. still enchanting to stare at but i'm beginning to worry O.o i loved the sculpt and waited a long time...but now i don't know ...i have no idea who he is at all!

I have so many wizards and aliens and strange ones in my group I'm surprised he hasn't spoken clearly who he is. Though those first photos show him to be fierce. Perhaps a beastmaster?

90% of those delayed orders are shipped. There will not be any further issue with shipping and we are now able to manage a normal shipping schedule. For those dolls that are subject to delay, please refer to the February schedule.

There had been quite many or full package order inquiries as we haven’t accepting full package order for a while. Therefore, we will resume accepting order on full package for 2 weeks. After then, it will be sold at the regular price with baic composition. Individula sales of head and parts will be avialable from the beginning of March.

Try now. Dollshe has just sent a message that the entire doll line will be opening up again, because he is nearly caught up (with the exception of the new February schedule).

 

It seems like my plans for Wu-Tyr (Orijean head) are dragging me along sooner than I thought would happen. I've just recently bought some Soom Cass forearms and I'm scrounging for loonies and twoonies to see if I can scrape together enough for a pair of the Dollmore Dollpire hands for him. The body is still a ways away as the CAN$ both sucks and blows hugely right now *sigh*. I've also sourced the dye for dying the hands and arms to bring my god of the depths to life.

I'll admit the Orijean sculpt took a while to grow on me (kinda like fungus) and once I figured out just who he was, he was off and running and demanding this and that. I do find it quite funny that the doll I recently got in (5Star Dark), who is Wu-Tyr's brother, had his default eyes claimed by Wu-Tyr and they look fantastic in his head(s).

 

@MaryamDN - thank you for your words of wisdom it did look like an original with box and certificate and everything but now that it looks like Dollshe is opening up all the lines i may be able to get one direct from the company.

how long are dollshe layaways? as i will definitely consider this for a grail doll

 

@Julie M - That sounds exciting.... Does this mean he'll be reopening his 18m line during that time? I'm afraid I don't completely understand that message.
But if Saint becomes available again, even for a short time, I would be overjoyed!

 

The old 18M line is not on the list. They had stopped taking orders on most of the new line so they could catch up so now the 28m and 26F and all the fashion sizes including an Arsene and Robin & Rosie are available.

 

Three months is typical. If you purchase several dolls, or purchase an expensive doll, you might be able to do it over four months.

 

*sign* Canadian dollar man.....i can't say enough about how horrible the value is and how utterly pathetic their latest excuse for it was! i almost punched my computer when i read it.
either way....it's dismal. i've been beyond lucky to trade for my recent grail (SOOM Hornblend centaur version thought i'm not sure i like the head so much) but otherwise, buying dolls is pretty much canceled for now! they just aren't affordable with this conversion rate right now and i would kinda love a rey lewis <.< alas.
i dunno... i imagine Orijean as either as a sorcerer or forest spirit with horns and such...but part of my disenchantment with him might be because Grant is totally overshadowing him and i have a few more really exciting orders on the way. not to mention i'm pathetically busy and that tends to make me slightly cynical .

I'm still waiting on my Bernard order from September, and now they're saying they're "caught up," so they're reopening orders?

I've got to have my head examined. I just paid for approximately half of an Arsene. I'm ordering "fresh" this time, for the first time. I tend to shy away from very light dolls. Hopefully I haven't goofed. Has anybody got somebody in fresh skin that they would like to spam?

I'd really love King Corey, but I've totted up what he'd cost, given all of the things that I would want, and have decided to hold off, just for now.

 

Compatible, yes, but 100% looking good, no. The blog is very cautious regarding this compatibility business.
I must say Arsene looks better in the pictures. I am not totally certain that Dollshe has modified the veins or added some 'sharpness' to the ribs.

Thanks, Steamwitch. I suspect that faced up, he'll look only slightly lighter than my oriental skin Dollshe dolls -- or perhaps even similar. <palm forehead> Years ago I traded for a whiteskin Hound. Because he was gothed, I don't really notice that much.

gah fresh skin is quite pale. i think i made a mistake in ordering my grant head. i ordered in fresh because i thought the 28M body i had was fresh....turns out he was Oriental X____________X *fail* thank god i can blush properly...but still!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's paper practically white to me!!!

 

I have an Ausley in Fresh....looks white to me. I really wish I had ordered a darker color as I really don't like white dolls.

Don't know If this is the good post for this but I would like to discuss about it.
Last october I ordered my Erica Snow full package the offer was 800$ with all parts : 3 different busts, different hands, feets ...
Now she is offered at 730$ it looks like the package is exactly the same. Or I missed an information ? Dollshe is a good company who doesnt make this kind of marketing policy ?
I am a bit disapointed about the policy if I don't make mistake. I really hope I misunderstand the difference of the 2 offers. I hope I Have more stuff than the second offer at 730$ because there is 70$ less. That is a lot for a collector.

What do you think about it ?

I ordered my Fifth Motif Venitu in fresh, thinking it would have a touch of rose to it. nope. pure white. I have seen other's dolls in fresh looking less white, so ????? I wouldn't choose it again.

@Delrio - that's confusing. Dollshe sales are always confusing. email them. they are very nice about answering questions and fixing issues.

 

@Mascara Sick looks like Erica is back with a better price as ! i'm curious ^___^ will you order her?

@petiteballerine , I have a Venitu in Pure Oriental and a Eloy head in the same colour, and like you, you wouldn't choose these cheap colours again. My Venitu shows colours from Fairyland Pink to cream white depending where I look at, while my Twigling Eloy head has a dark cream/light beige colour. My Aramis is in fresh and if I ever buy a body from Dollshe I don't bank on getting a match even if his head spends its time in its box. I have normal skin Fairyland dolls and they do not show the kind of colour variations I find with my Venitu. In fact, they do not show ANY colour variations at all, and most of them are older than him.

 

@MaryamDN - Hahaha, perhaps he'll loosen up after a little while. He might be feeling a little intimidated...or perhaps he wants to do the intimidation. Oh boy Ragnar's wig...I've not tried the hot water method you mentioned last time, but I have put in a little more product and it looks promising so far. The Neptune's have started to ship, but I had mine on layaway...so I have no idea. Soon I hope!

@Lilla- I received white dolls from both Dollshe and Ringdoll (was supposed to be normal) so it seems like a Dollie conspiracy.
at least my Venitu is white all over with no other colors. I painted him with pearl and turned him into a mer-boy. one of my fave dolls now.
can't understand your color variation. how could that pass their quality control? I'm in love with honeyskins.
my Cerberus Project dolls - from 2004 to last year, tan, normal, and white - are all beautiful.

 

Soooo, I´ve finally broken down and ordered Arsene in Pure Pale this morning. I´m really in love with the sculpt (he somehow reminds me of actor Frank Dillane). I would have loved to get him in Copper Oriental, but I´m unsure if I´ll keep the body or try and hybridize the head, so I thought Pale would be easier to match.

 

hmmmm those guys are going to need tiny eyes ...or maybe i just feel that way (the Granado boys)
i think Arrow is the one doing the intimidating. it's a good poofy at this stage...it tells me i'll be able to do some of my elvish braids on him if i even want :P
the hot water method is tricky.... if you ever try to do it, make sure you don't soak the skin, just make it generously moist and place it back on Ragner's head (make sure his head is warped in plastic before you put the wig back on). but if product works, you don't want to bring a tank to a knife fight....

 

@petiteballerine , it is to do with sun exposure. My boy started Fairyland pink. Within a few months, parts of him turned whiter. My other dolls are subject to the same exposure. He is the only one who has suffered such strong variations on his legs, etc. He probably was part of a 'faulty colour' batch. My Twigling Eloy head has never been Fairyland pink. It makes me mad, it does. For such an expensive doll, it is bad customer service. My Venitu should not have been sent to me if the colour mix was faulty.

 

@Kiyakotari - Hopefully your order ships out soon. I took a look at the Dollshe waiting room and it seems like all the September stuff listed there shipped out along with a couple of October items. Not that waits are unusual with Dollshe.I had a June order that didn't go out until January...

 

So found an old post (Decemeber 2015) no more venitu they said they had cancelled orders and a couple of silicone moulds left... but looks like i will be trolling the second hand marketplace over the next few years. i did ask via their website if they have any more - maybe i should email them as well oh well if it isnt meant to be... then nothing i can do but stare at pretty owner pics and become a major dolly stalker

 

Speaking of eyes...would you be willing to take on a commission for the aforementioned tiny eyes?
Intimidating or not, he's still super cool. Braids in his hair would look perfect. Would you add little beads to them as well?
Bring a tank to a knife fight...well that escalated quickly! I'll likely still try it at some point, perhaps with another wig, just because I'm curious. Ragnar will be getting a brother eventually. When the AUD picks up again...

(i'm reduced to a limited vocabulary after having spent all of yesterday today ...and the rest of the week...in seminars, defending, but i swear i'm more articulate than this on a good day! and yes i know i can't have spent the rest of the week in seminars since i don't time travel...but you know what i mean...).....speaking of which , there was a lot of yelling and jargon throwing yesterday about the various currencies taking hits... Russia, Australia, and Canada were on that list. half the people walked out of that room with their voices completely gone! it was surreal!
braids? yes...absolutely, braids rock, and it'll probably start to become a signature style of mine. the sketches are all planned out so i have several wigs similar to the one you've seen on my Bernice on DA.

As I'm expanding my family with a puppy this Saturday, I've decided not to make any more resin purchases during the entire 2016. So this guy was the last one to arrive home, and I'm so glad he arrived before the weekend, so I have the time to fully adore him. He's so beautiful it's almost painful to look at him ;___;



My Dollshe Aramis, now more known as Tin We'll see if I can make him look at least slightly cocky, but with that sweet, sweet smile and those unbelievable kind eyes, perhaps it won't work at all. Nevertheless, he's just too pretty not to share

Just wanted to thank you guys for helping me navigate the Dollshe site. I'd wanted to ask them a question about a body I got second-hand that had some defective parts. They not only got back to me, but provided a solution that was much much better than my idea. I wanted to thank them, which is part of why I kept asking stuff lol
