well.. as of this morning the tracking says its "out for delivery*.. Maybe it'll come today!

I got a call from UPS yesterday, so my girl should be here today!!!

I won the candy curl wig and a grab bag of SD wigs...is anyone else waiting for the same? I guess we won't get ours until late December but I am sure I will have a couple to trade then.

 

Mine also says out for delivery X3 But then again... With the campus mail system processing I probably won't have it until tomorrow -__________________-;;;;

Who else is waiting for one of the Jewels to arrive this month? I didn't order Ruby with any services so I hope she will arrive before X-mas.

 

I am waiting on Ruby as well. I am hoping for Christmas as well, so I can possibly go to a meet whilst I'm out in the US.

 

I'm waiting for my Ruby too! That would be very nice if we are able to get her before Christmas~

 

I wish I could start sewing for her. I have 3 patterns so far and I was told to just enlarge some SD patterns but I don't have her here to make sure the clothing fits. It's like I'm stuck until she gets here.

I got my SD wig grab bag today! Three boys' wigs, two girls' wigs, and two of them were FCS-only! Four of the five were some shade of brown, though, which was kind of funny--still, I'm quite pleased!

 

Hes stunning! Great combination of ws and lavendar eyes.
As you can prob tell from my avatar, the Chris/Lucas/F16 facemold is one of my favorites!!!

If you are worried you should send an email to Volks. That is wierd that your order status is blank.

 

Everything gets shipped together and if you ordered one of the 3 limited wigs along with your grab bag, they will all be shipped together. The limited wigs ship at the end of December where as the grab bags shipped at the end of November. Thus, your order should ship at the end of December (sooner if we are lucky). I do not think anyone has received status on the limited wigs yet (or Ruby or Garnet which are shipping at the same time). This is all mentioned on Volks website by the limited items too.

 

Hi NabeeRain...I won both the SD wig grab bag and Candy Curls (got both confirmations) but my grab bag arrived at around the same time as everyone's so I don't understand why they didn't hold that back and ship it out later along with the limited wig. I checked the status of my order and it's still there but I don't know why they did that unless there was a mistake. Not that I'm complaining for receiving my bag of wigs early or anything...hopefully, my Candy Curls will arrive when it's supposed to!:0

 

Oh ug...I just took a closer look at the status of my order and it's blank I guess I'm not getting my wig afterall. What a bummer.

On a brighter note, Gus251 that Chris is SO incredibly gorgeous!

 

Not sure about the blonde, but the black and the cute "Yuna" cut are definitely staying!

The blonde short wig in the MSD pic is also the one pictured above with the kitty ears. Most of the SD wigs were too big for my Lishe and Juri... Except for W122, but it was too dark really. I wish the w-85 wasn't so big... It's super cool. Any idea how to shrink a wigcap?

 

Rowena, your order hasn't been canceled, so you should still be getting your wig. If your worried, you can email or call Volks to confirm this.

Tempest_Strife: Depending on the wig style, you can sometimes put a little tuck held by a few stitches to shrink a wig a tad.

I just got my SD wig grab bag, and I'll play dress up and post what I received later, when I get a chance!

 

My F-38 One-Off arrived Monday and finally had a chance to look at him. Will work on pictures to post.

Thanks Anielle...I think I'll do that! I really hope it will still arrive. Also, that's a really good idea for shrinking wigs...I was wondering about how to go about doing that as well and you answered my question!

I think the only one I'd trade would be W117 and that'd just be for colour because I want the same wig in white.

 

I got my MSD Lucky Wig bag today. My fiance is expecting one today too so I'll post those later tonight.


This is my favorite wig I received. I like the reddish-silver color, and the waves. I hope it fits my doll!

These two are kind of similar. I like longer styles so hopefully I can trade these off. I might trade the short silver one too.

I love all the curly wigs everyone is getting...my package is out for delivery right now and UPS doesnt usually arrive for another 2 hours. I hope I'm lucky enough to get such a nice wig. (and I will be trading for one if I don't I hope)

I got my wigs in....2 of them are too small for my boy. I don't really like any of them so they are all up for trade:

This one is gorgeous however it doesnt fit my Volks boy. It fits my Dollmore MSD so it should be good on smaller headed dolls.

This one fits him, just not his character.

I received my wig pack today and was surprised that two pairs of metallic eyes were also included! Of the five SD wigs I am keeping two of them and the other three will go up for trade.

I am keeping W-109 in 613 and also keeping W-2 in 60. I about squealed when I opened the bag and found a long silver wig. That was what I had hoped for more than anything. No photos of the ones I am keeping, but I am now headed over to the trades thread with the ones that are going up for trade.

 

I WISH that W-117D #27 wig were in SD size. It is PERFECT for someone in my house.

I didn't really have any expectations, so I'm pretty happy in general with what I got.
I was kinda hoping for some funky colors like the magenta or navy, but I certainly can't complain!
Tomorrow I have the day off so I'll probably just be trying wigs on all day, lol.
Oh, I got two pairs of acrylic eyes too. They look to be size 20mm.
When I sort through and decide which ones are getting traded, I will throw the eyes in for free with a trade if someone wants them. Otherwise they will get handed out at a meet-up.

 

My wig packs were supposed to arrive today. Hoping to head home soon to see if they arrived.

I have enjoyed seeing what everyone has gotten so far and I am keeping my fingers crossed.

 

Why these four little wigs were in a big bag, in an even bigger box-- I'll never know. For a moment I thought I'd somehow gotten someone's doll instead.

But happily, my plea for short wigs were heard, as I really like the wigs that arrived. And that they came in colors I favor is a big plus too.

Nani I'm sure there will still be people to trade with by then. It seems a lot of people are getting the same wigs just in different colors so you may very well have a lot of luck with trades

They are sooo shiny, and soft. I'm especially pleased with the plaited one, as I was hoping for it in brown or copper. I'm the most surprised by 105N and how ridiculously cute it is. I am SO happy~!

 

Does anyone know when Pearl will be shipped. for some reason I was under the impression the date was the end of February but I just went onto the Volks USA page for Pearl it says end of December. (hoping for the end of December). same for Ruby and Garnet

From what I understand, dolls will be shipped in Dec if you didn't order any services like sanding or so. I thought she was to be delivered in Feb. also.

 

I received my lucky wig bags on 12/2 afternoon. (it's really a big box when i saw it at the first time~XD)

in the confirmation email it said pearl (even with no services) would be early february. i think on the webpage it was just a general cut and paste that they put on each of the dolls.
