Actually, I just call them and ask about the lottery.
They said they have not send out the notice yet.

Well, according to the VolksUSA site, the LA Sumika is open until 6:00PM PST, or 9:00PM EST, which has
already passed.
Maybe they'll send them out tomorrow or shortly?

 

Has Volks ever sent results this late in the evening? I'm wondering if they just got a bit delayed and will send the emails tomorrow instead.

Well I guess this could be a situation of "No News is Good News" but I really wanna know. I won't be home all day tomorrow and since I am in training I will not be able to check my phone either wwwaaaaaa!!!!!

Haven't heard yet either in my email box from Volks. Other News Event Chat thread suggested lottery results will be revealed tomorrow, Saturday?

No news for me yet. I'm wondering if they were very just so busy charging the CC's for the NY Dolpa yesterday. Mine was charged...YAY!!! So hopefully today will be the lottery news. I'm hoping to get a Ran.

Isn't the LA Sumika very closed on weekends? Aka, none of us can expect any news until Monday? Eep...the suspense is enough to kill!

 

Nothing for me either. Considering it's only ~6AM PST now, I bet they're sleeping lol. They don't open until 11AM PST.
I've made a plan not to check my e-mail until at least then. ^_^

Wow I entered for Chika on WLD on a whim and got her! However on the email it says to call back within 24 hours with payment info to keep my name on the list but when I call the number its an answering machine. Should I leave a message? Or should I email?

 

I got right to Debra. Try again. She might had to run to the restroom or something! If you leave a message, tell her your name, what your address is, how you're paying, and what email address you have. Leave a call back number too. I think you can also email her if you want.

I would say that whenever you call her leave a message so she knows who is calling. WLD is very efficient at answering both emails and phone calls.

I have not received any win or loss notification from Volks USA yet. I just checked my email.

 

No word from VolksUSA here either.

 

I think VolksUSA will come only a few days after WLD and KL because both WLD and KL have to turn in their winning list and these same winners get removed from VolksUSA lottery then VolksUSA does their thing.....

No news for me from either .... so maybe I got nothing LOL

VolksUSA has to wait for the US dealers to send out their lists, that way the names won't be duplicated in their drawing.

I think people should feel LESS annoyed to know this

in the past Volks USA did not get list from the dealers and people who entered at more than one location won double dolls - thus taking slots away from people who did not win the lottery.

Now they are waiting for the list from dealers thus taking people like myself out from my entry in VolksUSA and increasing your chance to win. I think this way is much more fair thus worth your wait for another few more hours.

anavel is exactly right! By preventing a person from winning two of the same doll, more people who really want the dolls can get them.

 

Ah, I didn't realize they changed the lottery system this way. Much better.

I quite remember *headdesking* a few times when I missed on a lottery to have someone else(s) winning the same doll I was going for twice or trice; and then going on to sell the extra on the secondhand market at a much higher price.

 

Hours, yes. Days, no. I really wouldn't mind as much, but the deadline on my backup plan is tomorrow.
