Have you ever shot your dolls in a studio, or used studio lighting when shooting your dolls? Whether it be in an actual studio or your home studio, could you share your experiences and light set-ups? I've read around and I learned that BJDs are okay with studio lights, as long as they don't stay under for too long and melt. (lol) I ask because our local doll community might do a photography-themed meet in a nearby studio. And it'll be air-conditioned too! The equipment list available to us is listed here, in case anyone wants to see and recommend items for use. Please and thank you!
I use my studio lights all the time in my room when I don't have light outside but have an idea for a photoshoot. I have umbrella lights and I use energy saving bulbs in them. Sometimes the doll comes out a little bit orangy but that can easily be fixed with some levels in photoshop. Here are a couple pictures ( though edited to b&w with a texture over top ) of my dolls from studio lighting. and then some in non-b&w ^^ ( these were all taken with studio lights WITHOUT editing )
