DollPamm!!!!

Anyone else see the pictures of what Dr. Mes is working on right now? A Monster High inspired body! I wonder if its just for fun or if we're gonna get something spooky for Halloween.

 

I'm actually surprised nobody thought of doing something like this sooner, considering how popular MH dolls are, especially among BJD collectors. I imagine they'll sell like hot cakes! Er, or whatever the 2015 equivalent of hotcakes are. I myself would die if he made an anatomically correct male rendition of a MH doll!

Wow, I LOVE Ice Arubi!! The body is amazing, so as the antlers! I love the mouth part too.
Is her head somewhat YoSD sized? Can we put YoSD heads on the bodies?

Oh, and : what clothes fit again? Blythe? YoSD?

 

Her head is a little smaller than most YoSD heads it looks like, as long as its not too big a Yo head should be fine.

 

[MENTION=66772]lavandula[/MENTION], it looks like she's going to be roughly the same measurements as ResinSoul tinies; I don't have any pictures of mine next to either a regular DP Loli girl, or a standard Yo, but I could take one later if it would help you visualize the size difference!

 

I'm really excited to see how her head will turn out. I hope I'll like it because I'm really liking to body and size of that doll :3

...I've gone ahead and put Pure Arubi on layaway. She's going to be a glamorous (and short) student in my OC narrative group!

I wish I could afford a Pure Arubi but I just sank a good chunk into RealFees and their darn cute faces! That body is so cool and unique ! A shame it's limited edition, I think it'd pull more attention to Dollpamm (certainly worked on me >.>).

I look forward to seeing the hybrids

 

Hopefully it's the start of some fun new editions that will keep drawing in attention. I'd love to see some more new DollPamm owners around here! (As well as the new interesting things Dr Mes is working on; I do love how different his designs are!)

 

Ok so......

It took a while but I was able to make arrangements to order both Ice and Pure Arubi LEs. Please do not envy me; I am a horribly irresponsible person but at least I will have cute dolls.

These dolls HAUNTED me. And I know that when a doll haunts me, that I need to get it. Or, in this case, them.

I'm going to have to take a break from dolly shopping after this!

Cannot wait to see how those of you who have ordered blank dolls will customize yours! I just fell in love with the summer and winter themes for these Arubis. If there was just one "season" of them I probably wouldn't have needed to get both.... but my weakness is variations on a theme.

Anyway. So excited that I didn't miss out on these lovely deer girls. I'm excited to be sharing that excitement with you!

I am kind of excited to re-dress them as Spring and Fall, too. I figure Pure's color will lend itself to Fall and Ice to Spring. But I'm not quite yet sure how I'll work it. Super excited, though!

I love deer and fauns so I'm just really tickled to be giving these girls a home!

I was thinking soft pink and blue themes for my heads, because i'm a sucker for that stuff. Still thinking about what bodies I want, i'm debating making both girls or boy and girl twins.

Anyone know a resin match for Dollpamm? Even if I can't afford Arubi, I still want to plan her out

 

It looks like the two Arubis are different from the normal Pingki and Camel colors, [MENTION=25681]Mistress_Wish[/MENTION], so it's really hard to say what might match them. I'm certainly curious to see what the final color is when mine shows up! (Though first I have to pay down her layaway...)

So the Bebe line are about the same height as FairyLand PukiPuki... but it looks like the proportions are a bit wider for Bebe. I'm wondering how they look together. Does anyone here have a Bebe and a PukiPuki to compare?

As I suspected, the Bebe heads are a bit wider than PukiPuki... but they still look like great friends! Hmm, I might have to consider getting one to keep my PukiPuki company!

 

So in general do pukipuki sized clothes fit? I've been trying to find boy clothes for Kit and I found some casual pieces on etsy but i'm still debating on them.

For doll-girls - yeah, clothes from pukipuki can fit. If the skirt wide enough. But for the boy - I think you need to do another pattern. Pants can not get dressed. I do not make clothes for the boy. But now it is interesting to try

I inquired about a size comparison between the regular Loli girls and Arubi, so I thought I'd share for anyone else who might be curious, what Dr. Mez sent me:



I wound up ordering a blank Pure Arubi back at the beginning of July. I'm so weak for this sculpting style, it's kind of a wonder I've resisted getting a DollPamm up until this point. XD

At first I thought I wanted to look into getting a different head for her, as I've never been a collector of animal-faced dolls. But really, I do admire the sculpting of her face, even if it isn't what I would usually go for, so...I'm going to try it out.

Thinking I'd like to do a mostly white theme for her, maybe have her antlers painted like white birch trees and some little white lacy designs painted on her...I'm crap at sewing, but I'm trying to come up with an outfit design that requires as little sewing as possible, and doesn't cover up all my favorite sculptural details...considering maybe doing something similar to the angora/alpaca wigmaking method, with glue-hardened pantyhose shaped to her body...that shell being a base to attach materials to (such as little paper or clay flowers & leaves, feathers, shells, beads, lace?). I almost went with an Ice Arubi to go with the white/light theme, but then decided that the white patterns would show up really nicely on the NS and tan...

Hey everyone! I'm new to this in-between size but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the Loli girls can wear? I wanted to have some stuff waiting for her so she's not naked when I get my girl home. Much appreciated!

I just discovered Dollpamm yesterday and I'm absolutely in love with the bodies!
I've got my eyes on their tinies, but I can't decide between Chi-ka and S-Momo. Anybody here own either of these girls yet?

chooper303: im also in love with the tiny body, but I like the big momo sculpt more. I would suggest looking at the blank pics of the sculpt you can see them in the listings for the loose heads. The Chika head has a bit strange face-up and to me looks more interesting without it.

It has gone awfully quiet in here... I know I'm not helping (school's getting the better of me), but hopefully I can do some posting in the future again, especially when my Arubi arrives.
