Ahh so dumb question since I feel like I should know this, when Soom lists something for One-off does that mean there is only one or their bringing only one or they are just limited? I'm just really confused if these dolls will be available at Anime North only or if it's about the stock their bringing or what.
there all so pretty *^* I bet Shoshon is going to be amazing in person.

 

From the reply I got from Soom, the fullset is a one off but they do have some to buy/order but this is about tin the beaver. I imagine It be similar

Anyone know where i can find the dollnorth Helper form? I didnt know there was such form but I do need an extra hand from my friend...

I'm going to be at AN again for the 10th year I believe! However, I've never really been able to check out Doll North because for the past few years I've been working at the con and before that I didn't have my dollies!

I'm a little nervous, I have a lot of anxiety around people! I'm thinking of trying the speed-friending event, though! DX I haven't been in the hobby for a couple years.

This is a weird question, but does anyone know where I can get change made around here? I'm at the Crowne Plaza. The HBSC across the street won't do it unless I have an account. I've got all these large bills I need to break down before tomorrow...

I was rescued by sleep_pattern, so my banking woes are over! Canada Post lost half my stock, but I'm still really looking forward to tomorrow!!

 

Doll North was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Thanks so much Sabrina and all the doll north staff, you guys are amazing and I had such a wonderful time. I am already looking forward to next year!!

The Soom table was SUPER tempting!! I stopped myself successfully =D. I hope Peakswoods will be back next year though. Where can we post pictures?

 

It's 2AM and I just wrapped everything up for the night, I hope to express more of my joy after a night's rest.

I'm so happy with the dealers this year, let's have it as much dealers next year! Also who would love to see my giant haul 4 dolls in total a ton of eyes and some clothing!

I completely agree eviltofu! All my purchases at Anime North were made at Doll North (aside from a necklace and pin) there was so much great stuff!
id also love to see your and everyone's hauls!

 

The Doll Ghost Stories panel was so fun and everyone who attended was so chill...it was nice to meet people and that marketplace robbed the last of my savings haha...so much miniature food!

It was great to go this year! I didn't have a chance to take in any of the panels, but I definitely spend enough Seeing Soom was amazing! I was a little disappointed but the lack of yosd items, but that's only a personal preference :P I plan on going next year too, and will hopefully take in some more of the attractions!

 

For the first time in years I escaped with my wallet intact from DN. It was a VERY close call though as Batchix had some lovely creations for sale and I nearly turned around in the parking lot of the hotel at 4:55pm on Sunday to go back and snag some resin. I resisted but I think I'll end up caving a little down the road *sigh*.

 

Phew, that's another year wrapped up! Time for some sleep
It was nice talking to everyone this year, and as always, I super appreciate the support!

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to put it, but I thought I would give it a shot:

On Sunday, there was someone at Doll North who had of-d dolls displayed (from the entrance to the market, they were on the far left, I believe they had the little alpaca dolls with them too? I could be mistaken about that). My friend was interested in one of the three dolls on the table, but at the time he didn't have any left. We've found the website (by luck, my friend lost the business card), but only two dolls are up there, and neither of them are the one my friend was interested in. Is there any way to contact that person, or any way of figuring out who the third doll was?

@Kichy That was the owner of Cafe Zephyros he was displaying the Of-d dolls for his sculptor friend and I believe he will also offer them for sale at his cafe in korea.

You might be able to reach him by his facebook page or Twitter. I'm having trouble finding a direct link to of-d dolls right now.

I got a baby Soom, dressed her, got presents for my 2 MSDs that I took, some other stuff as well, and a little adorable kitty head LOL I enjoyed it - I've wondered about going to Anime North for a while so was glad to have the opportunity (I was on staff for Doll North which was interesting - helped Anne w/the Ewok/Endor forest & got to babysit the masquerade dolls ) Anime North itself had a HUGE marketplace, which was very well spaced out (I go to DragonCon which is about 3x bigger as a whole but that MP is a crowded nightmare). I stayed most of the time at the Doll North hotel I really enjoyed talking to everyone, seeing the merchants, & participating in some of the panels.

 

Wait, Teleri....you go to DragonCon?! :O

This was my busiest Anime North ever but I'm glad I was able to fit some Doll North activities into my weekend.
