hmm, I can't help you either. I haven't really had issues finding my girl shoes. She just mostly shares with my boys XD
I did get one pair, the cat shoes that a lot people have, that I had to use her small feet for....but the big ones still work. Which is good because Dollmore Adam feet are huge so all my shoes have to be enormous =_=

Do you have the large girl feet or the small ones? I have a Black Lilith who is on the old body, and I know with the current body they released two sizes of feet cause the new feet were way too big and could only fit into boys shoes. I would suggest looking at Leeke. Measure the length of your Mio's foot and you'll be able to work out what size fits from there. My girl fits into Leeke, Iplehouse, Dollheart, Soom and can just squeeze into Souldoll shoes.

I don't think there is actually too much difference between the small and large feet. The toes on the smaller feet are squished together to make them thinner and they might be a hair shorter...The larger feets just look more like feet if that makes sense. I could be wrong (i'm at work atm with no way to check XD)

I have a Young Eve Liebe Klum, I have bought a pair of black shoes for her (no high heels) in Leeke last month and they are perfect.

I don't really find differences between large size feet and small size. I'm looking forward to seeing the high heels feet for her. Dollmore said to me in an email that they are going to sell them soon.

Hey, all. I'm starting to save up for one of the Glamor Eve girls, Blanche HoSoo, so I'm not sure if I can chat here, but I'm curious on how easy it is to change hands on DM Eves. They don't have S-hooks, so is the wrist piece something that comes apart, or do you just un-string the arm?

 

Ellaine, they have resin s hooks in their hands. You can pull the hand out of the arm, and unhook the elastic from there with no problems.

 

I love Mio face, but I don't want another Dollmore body... I need to find a way to get this head ^_^

 

I have had a Dollmore-Eve since 2007. I did this sort of unexplainable thing though..... I wanted a Lillis Liv, yet at the last minute ordered a Miso head instead. She has subsequently spent most of her life in her box. I made some clothes for her, but ultimately, after three face-ups, decided I just didn't love her as much as my Pullips.

Well, I finally decided that it was time to do something about it. Last night I ordered the new Ohoo head. Today I climbed up into the attic of my mother's gardening shed and got my doll down from there. I sanded and Mr. Clean Magic Erasered her face-up off so her head was ready to be stored. I bought her a nice red duffle jacket, some tights, a dress, new negligee, a super nice new fuzzies fur wig, two new sets of eyes, boots, and new eye putty. I've been watching videos on doing face-ups and body-blushing, I've been researching like crazy. This time, I think I'm ready to really get into this hobby.

I included a photo of the first face-up Dollmore Eve: Miso had. I made all the amateur mistakes, so she is not very pretty except from a distance. This time, there will be lots of practice, patience, and experimenting on eye size and color choices. This time, I'm determined to do it right and be the owner my doll deserves.

Keeping with the Dollmore - Eve Topic: it does not look like it from any of the pictures here, but have any of you tried to modify the neck to make it a little shorter through sanding or some other method? I was looking at the Iplehouse girls and they have such realistic necks, being a bit shorter and not a little wider. The Dollmore-Eve body seems (to me) to have an almost strangely long neck.

Also, did any of you ladies seal your bodies when you got them? If so, do you have any pointers on the best way to go about it? Have you noticed any difference in the resin since you sealed them or even left them unsealed?

 

I haven't modded her neck, or any of the DM necks...I actually enjoy the long necks, it's just so graceful IMO. But I know I'm one of the few. Part of why I'm such a Dollmore hoor is I like the odd proportions of their dolls, it's really close to how I draw XD

I haven't sealed my girl, but I've sealed my DM boys and I actually recommend it if you're afraid of color change. My first wasn't sealed until he was about a year old, and after that only off and on. He's got a drastically different color compared to my others (true he's older by more than a year, but still...), as does my DM kid who was never sealed until now and he's older too. And my WS boy who's about a year and a half old has been sealed since I got him and he's hardly changed color at all if at all.

When I do it I just take the head off, straighten all the arms and legs, make sure nothing is touching, take them outside strung and spray. I have an old arm string/elastic that I loop around the shook and just hold it by that. Then I hang them on a door knob or the odd coat hanger we have upstairs to dry. I've recently been sealing the blushing on my boys that way too (I favor them over my poor girl. She'll probably get blushed eventually too, but the boys have tattoos that need sealing) and I really think it works better than doing it strung. Especially if you're just doing it as a protective coating. Just give them a good cleaning first, or you'll end up with smudges and/or lint sealed in (lol oops).

Now that I've said all that, I would like to add that I actually prefer the color my first Kara Klum and Pado have turned. It's less pink and not yellow so much as cream. I wish my newer ones would catch up already =_= Yet oddly enough my Dollmore dolls seem to be the only ones in my group that even get sealed at all XD

 

Ophelia has aged to a really nice peach colour, it's made me really prefer that pale normal skin tone in other dolls because I really like how they age.

I blush my dolls so I seal things a bit differently. I pull them apart completely, lay the pieces out on some paper and spray one side and then the other, before blushing the torso, hands and feet and spraying them again. I find this way then also coats the joints nicely, which helps with giving a bit more friction for posing (though I also hot glue suede my dolls as well).

I also really like the long thin neck, it adds a graceful touch that my other dolls don't have.

 

I just came home today to find that Josephine's new Fuzzies Wig and eyes came in the mail today. The day before came a fresh new can of Mr. Super Coat UV Cut.

So far in the Miso head I have tried 16mm, 14mm, and 12mm, and I'm thinking that the 12mm eyes are my favorite for face:pupil size ratio. I'm thinking I may have to get some pinkish eye putty because with the twelve size you CAN see it (just a little, but it is there.), I'm thinking that this may actually help with the realism of her face because our own eyes have muscle (pink) showing at the edges.

I'm still waiting on Ohoo head and the rest of my Dollmore order to arrive, but I'll post a little picture of Josephine as she appears now (I just threw some super quick watercolor pencil eyebrows on her so she wouldn't be SO creepy, as this head is going into storage completely blank once the new one arrives.).

Okay guys!!!! Today was delivery day! I got Josephine's new head and outfit today!!! I haven't taken her apart yet (don't have time today to blush and seal the body, so I'm leaving her to model her new outfit until I do), but I'm pretty excited! Just so this isn't a total waste of time for you, I'll post some pictures (again, this is her old Miso head that I just drew some eyebrows on and colored her bottom lip so she wouldn't be so creepy), sorry about the quality, I just used my iPhone. She got a coat and a sweatshirt today, I may edit in a photo of them later tonight...





I added some pictures of the face-up I did on the new face plate.... there are definitely things to be improved upon, but I'm encouraged by this as a start.

 

Those boots are from DM, I have them too and they should fit no problem...my giant-footed boys wear them. Actually I think one of them is wearing them right now...

Just found this thread. I love DM dolls and especially their Eve's. Their resin is beautiful and feels very nice to the touch. Their weight is also perfect. Hands are so delicate and beautiful. I've got 3 Eve's now:

Serenity a DM Lilis Liv (the first girl bjd that I fell in love with but actually the 5th or 6th doll to get )


Estelle a DM Orlando Ray (a very under appreciated sculpt in my oppinion!) here with her man Armand a SD Asiter


and Snow (at least I think that's what her name will be ) She is a DM model doll Lisa Rubik head on a regular Eve body.

 

I very very much second the name "Snow." She is very like Snow White! Gorgeous! Just lovely!

(On an unrelated note: Once I get the body dissembled, blushed, and sealed, I promise a real photoshoot for you all. )

 

blue_wysteria I never actually thought about her as being Snow White but that is exactly what I see in her now!! I don't even know where the name Snow came from but surely it was the right one!!

I really love them. If I didn't already have an SD girl on layaway, I'd so want the poison apple one!! as it is I'm redoing my friends Mio to look like Candyholic...hopefully today!

Thank you Hinotori for pointing out that it is hard to find shoes for Mio that fit. You saved me from buying stuff that wont work. I'm very surprised that Dollmore doesn't have anything that works, because that was the first place I was going to look. Maybe that's why they put extra feet in the box, "Here, sand these down to fit!" Yikes!

The extra feet Dollmore includes in the box are actually smaller feet. At least my Eve Noal came with smaller feet and so far I haven't had problems finding shoes.

 

I love their designs too. >_< If she suited any of the characters I am trying to recreate I'd take the plunge. I think my favorite is the Candyholic, just because she looks like a slightly demented Mary Poppins from her "Jolly Holiday" scenes! :heart:

 

Typically any sculpt younger than the model dolls is too young for me, and I usually have no inclination toward spooky dolls-- but this Candyholic Mio has fairly enchanted me. She reminds me a little of Claudia from Interview with the Vampire. I think her face-up is absolutely gorgeous, and her outfit is one of my favourites from the last year.

 

Oh wow, Aileen is gorgeous! Nice to see them styling some more mature looks for the Eves.

 

Aileen kind of reminds me of an Iplehouse EID girl. I'm with Kawaii_Mon, though; I'm glad to see more mature-looking Dollmore sculpts. I'd like to see some more mature boys, too. You'd think they'd make the connection, if Nick Reilly and Kara Klum are their best sellers.

 

Aileen kind of reminds me of an adult Volks Yugiri in the lips, which I think is awesome. I just, generally, think she's gorgeous though, and may have to put some other plans on hold to bring her home...

 

Completely agree! She really reminds me of Iplehouse's EID line. I quite like the look!

 

Has anyone gotten the Eve high-heel feet yet? I'd like to know if they can wear Volks SD16 shoes and Luts high-heel SD shoes...

 

I want to know if they'll ever sell those feet in WS...I have another doll who could use them!

I`ll join this thread. I never thought I would actually want another Eve doll. I only have 1 Eve doll at home and have not been that interested in her for a very long time. (She is a Lily White Lilith - LE5.) But that have changed again now that I have totally fallen for the basic Eve - Lilis Liv. Reason I fell all over for this mold is how amazing they look in Gothic and Sweet Lolita outfits. Especially the basic Lilis Liv. She looks very much like the beautiful dolls you often see held by the models in Gothic & Lolita Bible magazines etc. I have put her up on my wish list now and she will be my next and second SD girl. Also been thinking about sending my face-upless Lily White Lilith back to Dollmore for a full body blushing and new face-up. But right now I just can`t stop thinking about one day ordering the basic Lilis Liv

 

I really like Aileen, she reminds me of IH EID girls I think her body looks a bit too small for her to me, she should be bigger, but maybe Im just used to the IH EID bodies! I really like her and would like to see them releasing dolls in a similar mature sculpt.

Well, my Youth Eve is the Maunier sculpt who is supposed to be 15--according to the Dollmore blurb--so she has a very young face with a young adult body. If they made the standard Eve body any more voluptuous, it wouldn't fit the younger sculpts, I'm afraid. This is the first doll I've had sanded and body blushed and they did a wonderful job.
She also came with a pair of smaller feet which were also pedicured, but I have other Dollmore dolls and I know their feet run big so I was prepared for that.
