Resin Comparison Dollmore Resin Colors

Hi! I am interested in ordering a few heads from Dollmore (Zaoll, Zihu, and Sona are on my list). Does anyone know how the "Normal" and "White" resin colors appear these days?

I have a Mio head in "Normal" and she's more pink than other similar resins I have on hand, but it's still a nice natural color. She was cast in 2021.

I vaguely recall talk about a "new normal" being an odd/intense color and some discussion that you can request the "old normal," which (if it matches my current Mio) I would prefer. Anyone know anything about that?

Alternatively, if the "White" isn't snow white (in some photos it appears to be, and in others, just a lighter peach) maybe that would work better for hybrids.

Thank you! That is indeed very pink! Hmmm... I might need to ask if they can cast in the older color. I don't think this would work with the hybrids I have in mind.

Does anyone know about their white? Is it paper white?

 

Whoof, that is WHITE! Thank you for that comparison @MaleficentMrsofEvil! I like white resin, but since I'm going for a hybrid I think it would be hard to find a body to match.

@Mu Shu - Aw, I'm sorry about your plans not working for the head! I wonder if it would be worth trying the "forced yellowing" technique with controlled exposure to sunlight.

I'll think about it for my planned order!
