I just ordered a doll from Dollmore and when I submitted to check out I got a blank screen... so I sent the money to their paypal address from an email I got about the order. It just said "Payment Method Paypal" and Paypal was a link and I sent the money. I'm not sure exactly what happened.... but I know they are paid. Was the white screen an error? Even worse news... I read on their site they are having paypal problems with their usual email.... and I sent my money to the one they didn't want it sent to on accident. >_< Now I wonder if I will get my doll at all...
They seem to be pretty savvy at that place. I recently did an order and kept getting a blank screen when I "paid"... I finally just gave up. LOL The next day I got 2 notices of cancellation and one notice that my items had already shipped. Just email them. They'll get right back to you.
It seems that they forgot their paypal password or something. She got me to do a screen shot of my paypal confirming it was paid for. :3 Now I hope that means everything is settled there.... and i hope they recover their password.
Dollmore is OK. The blank screen usually appears in Firefox, if you switch to Explorer it doesn't usually happen. This is quite common when shopping at any doll site. I usually make sure I have the paypal email down before I press the submit order button. If the screen does go blank, you can check your email to make sure the order has gone through.
I actually did this two days ago myself. XD So, I feel for you. I thought the blank screen was an error, so I checked my cart again and everything was there so I assumed my order did not go through. I tried once more, and got the blank screen again. I checked my e-mail, and I had two confirmation mails. Oops! D= So, I went ahead and sent the payment for my order to, you guessed it, [email protected]. I sent them an e-mail explaining that I had ordered twice by accident, and that I had sent my payment for one of the orders. They kindly canceled the duplicate order, and asked that I send them a screenshot of my Paypal payment (I just clicked "details" and took two screenshots to include the entire page), and apologized for my errors. They thanked me for the information, and said they they would ship my items ASAP. I don't think it'll pose a problem, they'll probably just do with you as they did me and ask for a screenshot and all will be well. =)
Blank screen (email), I'll say! We are having a Dollmore nightmare! They sent the wrong shoes, $25.00 less value and they will not exchange them, we are getting no where with them. Emailed them several times, now a month later! So now we are stuck with shoes that we do not want and they seem to be pocketing the extra $25.00! ! ! The shoes that were ordered were $50.00. We are having to take appropriate actions with them. An extremely unwise business!
I've never had a problem with Dollmore, I've been in two GOs and had all the right items sent. I got the blank screen of doom too. Surprise, surprise, I'm a Firefox user! I've just emailed the customer services because of a duplicate order. On the order status it says both orders cannot be cancelled, but obviously I only want one! How quickly do Dollmore respond to errors like this? I have only had one email confirming the first order, nothing concerning the second one.
same thing happened to me and i resubbitted it.. so two orders were placed, but i wsent payment to the email and the other was canceled. like others said, just email them and if you sent payment, your order status should say that its paid.
On both orders it said that I have already paid, which I know I haven't because I asked for a PayPal invoice. Dollmore also only has a truncated version of my address, no county and no country, I put down United Kingdom as they asked, but there was no space for Wales, and no space for Conwy. Can I modify this when they send me the PayPal invoice, or will they just use the address given on the PayPal payment?
I just got the blank screen error when attempting to pay via paypal and paydirect. I've gone back and canceled both times, and sent them a mail explaining my issue. I would like to do business with them without having to use a bank transfer (ugh!). Hopefully they'll be getting back to me soon. They really should bring their site up to W3C compliance for Firefox users!
I agree! It worked out cheaper for me to get the items I wanted direct from them, but it looks like I might have to join an international GO and have to pay shipping from the organiser to me. If it was a UK based GO it would be fine, but I don't want to have to pay for shipping from the US when I had such an awful time getting my girl through customs.
I got the blank screen, but that's normal so no errors there. If you want quick response DON"T email them go on the Q&A board. You'll get a quick response. I'm assuming since you have been dealing with this problem for some time that you've already done that. I had some mess up with Paypal for a different reason but i went on the Q&A board and it was taken care of immediately, they are really good for costumer service. Hope you get your doll!
It's all worked out Yeah, I used their customer service board rather than email them and it worked out fine. The only snag is the EMS tracking they gave me is wrong!
Ive ordered some things from dollmore, nothing massivly expensive and Im kinda worried. I put in all my address and stuff, but no credit card info. I clicked the place order and got to a blank page. I thought it was a glitch so I tried again after about 20 mins. Same again, just a blank page. Humm. I tried again about an hour later and the same thing. So I check my emails and I have loads of the same order from dollmore totalling about $400 its just the same order over and over! So, I took the order number from the orders with the intention of canceling the un-needed ones....and when I put them in the site, I just get a blank order form with no information. Whats going on? I havent put any payment details in so how do I pay? Ive put up a Q&A on there but none of the staff have replied. Am I just being a major idiot here?
The Q&A staff usually reply at night, US time. I am on Pacific time and they usually answer questions between 10-11pm my time because of the huge difference between here and there. You should hear back from them in a few hours. They should be able to cancel the extra orders with no problems.
don't panic..... that has happened to me. it's because certain internet browsers will not allow the pop up window to show, that is necessary to input the CC info. yes, i had several orders confirmations as well. you can always send a payment to them directly from paypal by yourself, that's what i did, you can use a CC if you add the info to your Paypal account. just use the "send money" option at the top of your account page. their address is [email protected]. i would also follow up on the Q&A board, telling them what happened, and that you only want one order. if you have sent a payment tell them that, or if you have not sent a payment, ask them to send you a paypal invoice. you should receive it by the next day.
Thanks guys. Everything is sorted now (I got an invoice for only 1 order and paid), I feel like an idiot If anything other than a blank page had come up, I wouldnt have worried so much at all. It looks like other people on the site were really confused by it as well though. Thanks again ^_^
I just tried to order from Dollmore, paying with paygate, but I got a blank screen when I checked out. It didn't have a place to put credit card information or anything...just a blank screen. I looked at order status and I have a number and all but can't pay. Help? I hope this doesn't sound too stupid.

Hello everyone, this is actually my first thread here Yesterday (the 3rd of February) morning I sent the payment to Dollmore Paypal, and although in my Paypal account says that the transaction has been completed, in my Order Status (dollmore) in the section "Process" stills saying "receipt of credit payment" and I haven't recieved any invoice neither... So, it's this normal or should I start to panick?

Hi all! I'm using Firefox while doing my shopping at Dollmore. I finally decided to buy some clothes and shoes for my doll but when I hit the check-out button on the page where you write the credit card info, nothing happened. I checked my order status and it says 'receipt of credit payment'. What does this mean? Did my payment get through? Do I have to wait for Dollmore to give an invoice so I can actually pay it? I already got an automated order info from them. I'm just not sure if my payment got through. Thanks!
