I posted on their Q & A board and they answered all my questions. I didn't get any notification of my order or when my item shipped though but I just logged into my account and checked my order status for all that anyway so it wasn't an issue for me this time.

* How easy was it to pay?
It was relatively easy once I had their paypal address.

* How long did it take to ship?
Actually, I got it today (3rd December 2010) so all up from order to receipt of item, 6 days. Not bad for an overseas company, but I suspect it was due to the item being in stock when I ordered.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes, the quality is very nice.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
I didn't get blushing done on the hands I ordered but that aside, yes it did look like the picture.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Very satisfied.

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?

This is actually my second order with them so I was more prepared this time for the 'quirks' of the site and the order form. Overall, it was a pretty painless process so yes, I would order from them again.

It depends how much it was and in what condition and if I was looking for that particular thing.

Excellent. They informed me right away when they received payment and when she was shipped.

She shipped on Dec. 1, 2010, so not long at all.

Absolutely. I would have paid it even if she came blank with no extras. I thought she was an amazing deal.

Issue yet to be resolved. Keep being told that doll has been delayed a little and will send in the next few days but as of yet hasn't been. Two broken promises so far.

Doubt it due to two broken shipping promises and lack of communication about delays unless I ask first.

It was great! they even emailed me when a pair of eyes I ordered had gone out of stock before I'd paid, so i was able to pick something else to get for the same price. I ended up being able to switch to another pair of eyes

Fairly easy once I'd figured out how paypal works.

~ It was great. I used the Q&A board several time, and they answered right away within their working hours every time.

~ Super easy with Paypal.

*How long did it take to ship?
~ They shipped it the 22nd December, 12 days after I ordered. It took a little longer because of the Zaoll pants.

*Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
~ Definitely. I was very happy with everything I bought, even the cheap sandals were good quality.

~ The clothes and accessories did exactly. The doll looked much better in real life. I was not fussed on the default faceup that hid her beautiful sculpt.

~ Yes, I can't express it enough.

Not so wonderful this time. My tracking number didn't start working until 2 days after my order was shipped out (and maybe one or two days before it arrived. I left a message on their Q&A board, and never heard back. Last time, I'll admit I didn't do as much work to find my number, but at least they were prompt with answering.

* How easy was it to pay?
I had forgotten how it all went down since last time. It did the same thing, though: I click PayPal, then continue, and I'm given a blank page. It was a few hours before I finally received the payment request invoice. Just like last time.

* How long did it take to ship?
It shipped that Friday, and got to me Monday morning; so about 3-4 days, +- Sunday?

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
99% Yes. The only issue was with a very thin sweater that came with a few tiny holes in it - but the collar portion hides it a little. It's not a very big deal, honestly. It seems like there's always one item that has something wrong with it when I order. I bought my doll white platform sandals, and one had this weird pink stain on it. I don't use them on her because she won't stand in them, and it is difficult to see at first glance.

Yeah; the hoodie's color was lighter than it looked, but it was ok since my doll was a very feminine girl.And I guess I should've thought of this prior, but it has to be pulled over her head - or you take the head off which I was not in the mood to do.

Overall, yeah

Yeah; this has been my second order from them. They re-released their high-top sneakers, and I had wanted a sweater, but that was sold out - hoping they re-release!

For the clothing yes. I ordered two shirts, a pair of cargo shorts, a pair of stockings and two coats. All were well made fit nicely on the doll intended. The accessories were perfect too with exception of a sd/model size watch. The band broke just after I wrestled it on my SD13 boy. I think Dollmore dolls may have slimmer wrists than my chunky boy.

Oh yes. In fact the two coats looked much better in person.

* How was the communication?: Great. After I ordered, they sent emails to confirm payments, and when the items were shipped.
* How easy was it to pay?: Pretty easy via Paypal, although it is manual invoices not automatic.
* How long did it take to ship?: Well, they took 2 days to ship. To arrive, it took almost 2 weeks because USPS forwarded it improperly, and it was kind of a nightmare -- not the company's fault, just bad shipping!
* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?: Absolutely, the wig is positively flawless. The clothes are well made and the shoes are adorable. The eyes are really inexpensive and have a beautiful dome. The dome casts a very pretty shadow and light on the eye color.

There wasn't any need for communication actually. : They send an email saying that they got your order and that's about it. Ordering is so painless that I never needed to contact them for anything.

It shipped out like....in a day, and always arrives to me around 5 days.

Definitely, definitely, definitely. They were the first place I ever ordered clothing from actually, so I didn't really know what to expect. Most of their items are very, very affordable and when you get the item, in my experience anyway, it is good quality. ^^

Yup. ~ I my opinion some of the stuff looks better. : Whether that's just because it is on my doll or not.......but still, yes it is accurate.((I am still convinced some boots I ordered look better in person.))

Again, definitely! I ordered from them multiple times and my order looks great every time on my boy. Everything fits him perfectly(he is MSD), and all the details are good in what I order. They always send me free stuff as well.

And also since I order from them multiple times, I think it is quite obvious that I would order from them again. I might soon actually...

At first very nice. My friend had order some underwear and when she opened them they were badly made. I contacted dollmore and they said they could ship a new pair with my next order. I had nothing to order but I managed to pick a few item. I asked for free shipping. They just said give me the list. I give it to them and asked if I could get a carrier shipped with the other item but it was fine if it could not. They replied that if i wanted the carrier i had to pay shipping. So I replied ok just the first list. They never replied. I waited for 2 week. I sent another email. A week. No reply. I posted on their question and answer board and I am awaiting an answer. I asked them for a refund since they are uncoperative. I can't file a paypal claim since I gave them too much time to reply and my 45 days are passed.

How do I reply to this ? I just wanted to say that my brand-new Dear doll Coco is so beautiful, but she looks like she was strung with sewing thread. She is as loose as a puppet. Compared to last years doll, the resin is much lighter, (she weights less) and she is really, really, really floppy. I still love her.

Actually much nicer. The fabric was much better the colors much more vivid. In my experience quite a few outfits from DM shows up much darker in their pictures so a lot of detail doesn't show.

Communication was good, I asked them to combine two orders since for some reason, I couldn't add more than 20 items in one order.

It was really easy. I used Paypal.

Actually, quite a while. I received a shipping notice on 21st of April. But then again, it was a lot of items.

I feel that, yeah. The participants in my GO were happy, I was happy.

Actually, easier than it was the last two times; they seemed to have fixed that glitch in their payment system where you don't get a blank page when you decide to choose PayPal and click continue. Instead, it went right through, and I got a little message that said it was being processed...

Also, the invoice usually took a long time to get to my email for some reason (as in hours), but this time, it came in a few minutes. Whatever they did, I'm very happy they fixed it.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?I don't know if it was because they were SD sized as compared to my other two orders with MSD-sized clothes, but the quality seemed better than my other orders.

Yeah. On my last two orders, though, there was always something wrong. On the first order, a pair of sandals I bought my doll had some weird, pink stain on them. On the second, there was a small hole the sweater I bought her; it was very thin, fragile fabric...

This time, everything was perfect. I did have a scare at one point, where I saw one of the shirts had what looked like a big rip in the shoulder, and thought "Not a third time!" But then I looked at it some more, and realized the rip was supposed to be there. I also looked at the pictures of it on the site, and the rip is there, too, and I just didn't see it.

Not at all! Essentially, I paid almost $250 for a Cupie doll! This is NOT a ball-jointed doll, even though Dollmore has Ball Jointed Doll Company right in it's title. Thus, I mistakenly assumed, as I have purchased 7 other dolls from Dollmore, that all of their dolls were ball jointed. But what I received for the price did not meet ANY of my expectations.

Only the faceup.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
NO! Though it was my mistake to assume the doll was ball jointed (I was in a hurry and didn't scroll to the end of the photos, where there were two nude shots -- these I saw only after I received her), what I did get was a very stiff, plastic looking (it is resin) doll. Her only joints (hips and shoulders, not ball joints) were so stiff, I could not move her arms or legs. Standing stiffly with her head hanging down was all she could do. Her head was the opposite, it wobbled so loosely I was afraid it would come off. I didn't want to remove the veil over her face or the wig to see if the stringing could be accessed, because I just wanted to send her back!
I immediately went to the website and reread the description of the doll. To me, the wording was very sketchy regarding her joints, if not evasive.
"Mong-a is made of normal resin and her joint structure has simplified..
and has ball jointed doll's strength and pose doll's smooth bodyline.. How lovely she is~~!" It should have clearly said "This is not a ball-jointed doll." Or the doll is made of resin, but is jointed only at the shoulders and hips.

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
It did NOT solve the problem! I messaged them through their Q&A, because it said they would answer that more quickly than via email. I told them the problems and that I did not like the doll at all. I asked to return her for a full refund. They answered me in two days, essentially saying no. Re-quoting their description, saying it was perfectly clear and saying I was responsible for viewing the photos. However, that did not answer my real problems with the doll: the stiff immovable joints and the wobbly head. Thinking I had not been clear (I don't speak or write Korean language). I replied that I did not like the doll at all, I was very unhappy with her and with them, and I wanted to send her back and get my money back. The replied with a short, firm, NO they would not take her back.

I messaged them through their Q&A to have them combine my orders to ship and that went fine. Their English does sound like it has been run through an online translator, but was understandable.

I paid through bank wiring but it was a very easy process! I just had to find the right time to go to the bank, fill up a form and then, go home and notify Dollmore about my transaction. Easy as ABC!

I ordered a doll so, it took 2 months. But once the status changed to the shipping process, it took about 1 week to arrive. (Unfortunately, there was 2 holidays going on the same week so, the local shipping process was slowed down ugh!)

Very appropriate! The doll I ordered was just perfect! Though, there were seam lines but that's just natural so, it didn't bother me at all. The wig, clothes and shoes were really well-made! In fact, I received 2 free gifts from Dollmore - a wig and a pair of pants. Those 2 were perfect too.

What did you order? This is a combined review for all my experiences so far, since I haven't left Dollmore any feedback here and should. I have ordered a lot of clothes, eyes, elastic / other customization items, a wig, and a Banji-size doll from them over my customer history thus far.

When did you order? I believe my first Dollmore order was in winter of 2010, and it was through a group order here on DoA. I have ordered quite a few times since.

Did you order directly from the company, or through a distributor or dealer? I have been in several group orders, done a shared order with a friend that was similar to a group order in how I ran it, and have also purchased things on my own directly from the company.

How was the communication? Good in my case, in the case of one group order the communication was delayed early on and it had to do with items being out of stock and Dollmore not saying so until asked. They may have overlooked it or something, and once asked the communication went much better.

How easy was it to pay? It was easy to pay through the group orders, but I have had a lot of trouble with Dollmore's site on my, specifically the shopping cart. Random items tend to make other items in the cart disappear, and then there is the well-known item number limit that makes larger orders have to be combined via the Q&A board. Apparently the site works best in Chrome so next time I order outside of a GO, I'll use that. Once the order is properly made, it's very easy to pay.

How long did it take to ship? Not long, Dollmore's shipping speed has always been good. The doll pre-order arrived at my door just under six weeks from the date I ordered her, I was very pleased with that timeframe.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes, definitely. The one thing I have not much liked so far is the wig, but it was a 4/5 which is a difficult size to design for and also white, so the headcap showing through I have since learned is pretty normal (I got the wig in my newbie days). I like everything else I've gotten so far. Their clothing has the sort of snaps that don't have a harsh metal back on the doll-side of the fabric, which is a sign that a company cares about both their customers and the dolls who will be wearing the clothes, even though it means more work sewing the snaps on instead of stamping them on. The Banji girl is amazingly delicate and so teeny, I am impressed with Dollmore's doll quality and looking forward to hopefully getting my grail doll Ice Dahlia in the future.

slightly confusing. It was my first time ordering from the company and I had some problems with checking out (see below) so I had to figure out how to use the Q&A board (my first time using one). In the end though, my issue was resolved, which was all that mattered to me.
How easy was it to pay?
Tired to pay without using Paypal (tried directly with credit card)but it wouldn't let me check out, so I posted a question on the Q&A board, asking for help, and before the question on the Q&A board was answered, a request was sent to me in Paypal from Dollmore, asking for a payment. I paid, thinking it'd all been resolved, but I didn't get a shipping notice within the next few days, so I had to go back to the Q&A board to sort things out. A little 'nudge' telling them that I'd sent the payment through Paypal helped things along.
How long did it take to ship?
Once I got the payment issue sorted out, it shipped out quickly. shipped on 5/21 and arrived 5/24
Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
I think so. I didn't order anything fancy, but everything looks well made to me.

Fair. I did have a problem where they would tell me my order was about to ship, then a few days later say she hadn't even gotten her face-up yet. @__@

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
No. She was much higher priced then the previous Judiths; her face-up came in smudged; the stitching on her sleeves were not finished, so they fell apart in transit; they sent her with high heeled shoes but no high heeled feet, and will not let me purchase high heeled feet for her; and she had purple sharpie markings on her legs and feet, which is taking sanding to get off.

Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Almost. Her lips were painted a little differently then the sales pictures though.

Were you satisfied with the product?
I still like her, but she came with far too many problems for me to be happy with the transaction.

If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
They didn't. They just told me how the damage I was describing is clearly not there (Their emphasis), when in fact it clearly is there. (Or at least was. I've since gotten the sharpie marks off of her.)

I would have liked a partial refund/store credit/or maybe even just some Judith sized clothing to cover the damage, and the Judith high heeled feet in WS to solve her shoe issue.

Not likely.

Yes. I still like their dolls, they just seem unwilling to help when there is a problem.

Great! I emailed one question and asked another via their website. Both were answered within 20 hours. Also added the US sales to Yahoo Messenger to ask the email question, but that took about 2 days for a reply so they'd already answered via email

How easy was it to pay?
Pretty easy.. I paid through Paypal and they sent an invoice about a day later. It was my first ever doll order, but I didn't feel too confused.

How long did it take to ship?
They sent the package (with free EMS shipping) 11/29/2012 and it arrived 12/04/2012. So less than a week to ship and less than a month from the start of the transaction!

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Like I said, it was my first doll (or accessory) order but everything seems great! The resin is smooth, though she does have minimal seams (tanned doll). The clothing seems well made for the price.

Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Pretty much. I think the wig looks different, but that's not a problem for me. Also, in the sales pics the doll is looking to the side, and they sent her with eyes forward. I was worried she'd look wall-eyed if they did but she doesn't. Good thing too! I'd rather her eyes face forward.

He is my first doll. He was a gift and a pricey one at that at $800. But I adore him. I think it was well worth the cost.

No! He looks BETTER. I was taking a gamble with this one, the pictures cast all the wrong shadows on his face. But he is simply gorgeous.

Completely and utterly satisfied. At least with the doll, I did encounter some problems with the clothes and such.

His boots arrived in my opinion severely damaged. The eyelets had popped off and were hanging on the laces. I believe they tried to please me by including loafers for free. However,the boots were included with the limited edition, and I told them I wanted boots. Not loafers. I showed them pictures of the damage and they offered to replace the boots, only if I sent back the damaged one. Which meant I had to pay out of pocket for something they knowingly sent damaged (otherwise, why would they bother sending me loafers when my free gift was a Dummy doll?). I was very displeased with that fact and have yet to send the boots back. I think that part is a bit BS.

Yes, if there was ever another doll that caught my eye.
