DollMore Catish Dolls discussion part 1:

I want to get Persian white and I read many good things about dollmore resin so I was wondering if she was made by Dollmore or was one of the brands that dollmore carries.

 

well, it says that the Manufacturer is Dollmore, so I assume that they are made by them. ^^

 

I *believe* they're made by Catish, and sold by Dollmore (just like Dollmore carries other brands) . . . I can't swear to it, though.

the catish dolls have the Kid Dollmore Girl Body. the head mold may be from someone else but the body is definitely a dollmore one.

It does only search for words with four or more letters, though.

Where are you getting "Vnu" from, out of curiosity? I thought they were called "Persian Nocturne"?

This is the Vnu, the standard model for the Catish.

I, personally, think she is drop dead gorgeous, and cannot WAIT until I can actually afford her. ^^;

 

Does anyone know what the circumference and length of the hands normally are? I know kid dollmore doll hands are basically the same size, and I'm not able to measure one at the moment. I want to make gloves, and am asking for someone to help? I have looked for the measurements of the single hands EVERYWHERE!

 

Do Catish dolls have same body as Dollmore Kid girls?

I have fallen so badly for open eye Vnu. I have seen a Catish doll on DA who have Dollpire hands. And that made me wonder if Catish have same body as Dollmore Kid, or if it is just that the Dollpire hands fit a Catish.

I am so tempted to get Vnu with a pair of Dollpire hands.

 

I am saving up like crazy for the doll now. I did not have the time or money to earlier.

Once I get her I`ll spread some Vnu love. Really wish there were more of Vnu on DOA..

Bumping this thread to see if anyone is ordering the new glow-in-the-dark girls. I was not planning on buying any new dolls, but caved and ordered the red version.

 

Waitwaitwait.... glow in the dark? O.o that sounds so AWESOME!

 

Dollmore is calling the resin "noctilucent", but basically it glows in the dark if you expose it to a light source before turning out the lights. They have 3 different versions, red, black, and white. I can hardly wait to have her. They also have some cool new blue Russian Catish dolls that I like almost as well, but glow trumps grey this time for me.

 

Man, that glow in the dark kitty is too cute!

 

The red version has really caught my interest. The fact that she's glow-in-the-dark is really cool too!! @_@ I'd really love to buy her when I have the chance. What a catch!

 

I ordered my Reaa before the "noctilucent" ones came out on Dollmore site, so I didn't have the chance to be torn in my choice XD The red version is my favourite, both for face-up and dress, but I'm not sure If the glow-in-the-dark feature is cool or simply creepy.

hmmm doesn't seem to be much conversation going on for the Catish dolls. I'll post anyway..lol. I just received my Dollmore order today! 2 Catish Reaa's! The Melancholy Black and Mink...wow I am blown away by the lovely quality of these dolls. My only complaint is the shoes...ugh they are waaaay to big for my girls will have to go shoe shopping for them in the future. Here they are no names yet. Congratulations on you lovely girls! I was very impressed with mine as well, especially with their possibility and their sweet faces. I had ordered mine extra feet when I bought them, so they can have heel feet or flat feet.

 

Oh..I didn't know I could order with extra feet...maybe I'll see if they can add that to my other order..of course I'd be afraid the resin colors wouldn't match but its worth a try so they aren't in high heel feet all the time. which one did you get Biggy?

 

You can ask them on Q&A, maybe they will do so. Not sure about the colour match in different resin batches at Dollmore. I have the White vert and Black lac Reea, their names are Lisa and Minous.

 

They are adorable..I want one in every resin color and the boy..lol. They still have the White vert available and I was thinking of getting her though I really wish the Sherbet one was still available..although the white vert has a Siamese cat look about her. Then I would love to get one of the Rule the Cat World ones but am having a hard time deciding between them..lol. And must have the boy of course...not sure if I'll get the Russian Dream girl or not. I'll definitely give the flat feet a try hopefully they'll be able to do it...though I did find a few pairs of shoes that do work for them. Will try and post a photo later.

I'm really tempted to get a black resin Reaa to be the counterpart of my white skin one, but I'm not sure to have enought skill to do a decent face-up on black resin. The boy is tempting, too, but I don't really like he has the same face-sculpt as the girls.

About shoes, I didn't know you can ask for flat-feet! I can try to ask Dollmore when I'll do the next order... there is a terrible lack of heeled shoes in MSD size -_- Anyway, for Dahlia and her "huge" feet I found these shoes (I ordered them in black). They fit and are quite cute, but the heel is not really high enough for the shape of Reaa's feet, and she can only stay on the tip of toes with these shoes.

 

What beautiful kitties, Kitty Blue and Biggy! I really did not need to see owner pictures, as I have been drooling over these dolls on Dollmore's site and they are even lovelier in your photos. I really want at least one of them, and my sister does too. I'm leaning towards a Rule the Cat World and my sister is thinking about the black one. In the mean time, I'm really enjoying the photos posted here. Thanks so much for sharing!

 

Thanks everyone. regarding flat feet my two were actually suppose to come with flat feet, Dollmore has said they will send them out with my other order along with the eyes that were suppose to come with my black kitty. The resin is really nice, I'm just completely in love with these two. Here is a photo I took this morning after experimenting with a different wig. I'm really liking a short style on her and the contrast color works so much better with the black resin. Still need to work on an outfit but for now you'll just have to be content with this one.

 

I really love the contrasting wig, seems to add light to her features, and the dress even is simple is really fitting! Did you make it from a sock, Kitty Blue?

 

I believe it may have been a arm warmer, but it could be a sock..lol..it was something I made for one of my other girls..I'll have to post a new photo I took over the weekend, I made an outfit for each of them.

Edit: And tada! Vionnet and Dior all styled up in the top fashions..oops forget to take a photo of there bling collars..lol. Ah well I'll have to do another photoshoot with them at some point.

 

Everyone's kitties are gorgeous! I just finished watching your opening vids Kittyblue, and you've convinced me I need one in my life (being a crazy cat lady myself, lol)! I was thinking of ordering the Red Reaa, although I'm not particularly fond of her stock outfit. I was also looking at the Russian dream Vert Reaa because her coloring is beautiful...almost like a real Russian Blue

Akemi3167 I love the Red Reaa face-up, but the Russian Dream Reaa has a beautiful resin color and the dress is really fitting, in my opinion! That's really an hard choice XD

I just ordered the Red Reaa, and am waiting for my paypal monies to go through so I can pay for her! Dollmore was so nice in agreeing to wait the 3-5 business days for the money to go into my Paypal! *growls at credit/debit card troubles*

I just found out that she'll glow in the dark! How cool is that? I can't wait for her to come home, I wonder if she's already made since she's a LE or if they will make her when I pay for her order? How long did it take for your two girls to come, Kitty Blue?

Also, should I contact them to make sure that she has both feet when she ships? It looks like she'll at least come with high heeled feet, but I'm not sure if the flat feet will come with her.

The Red Reaa is listed as coming with heeled feet, you'd have to pay for the extra feet if you wanted flat, they only come with one pair. the only reason they are sending me flat feet for free is because mine were suppose to come with flat feet and they sent mine with heeled. It took about 2 months for mine.

oh no... I was thinking about Russian Reaa darn it..better order my boy soon before its too late, I was trying to wait for my points to be added to my account, but my Trinity hasn't shipped yet. Ack and Red Reaa is sold out now too..double drat. Guess if I'll have to go with one of the other cat rule the worlds.

 

Sorry Kitty Blue... I actually put my order in for the RED Reaa, not Black, so I think I got the last one on both her and Russian. I didn't think they'd sell out that fast since they were on available since before the holidays.

I think you should be okay. Once you confirm your order the item automatically updates the qty. left. I had a gut feeling to order my girls sooner instead of waiting till after my trip.

@Ryuichi: "before shipping" usually means that Dollmore has processed your payment and they're working on your doll; my Reaa was "before shipping" for a month or so before she was really shipped.

bleah, I ran out of money before I got the flat feet. Oh well, I think I'll keep her in heels for now.

I'm not huge on resin matching, but I want them to glow like she does. Can I buy glow in the dark feet for her in a month or so or will they be non-glow in the dark feet?

I'd say that it would be best to ask them, they are great about answering questions just send them an email.

 

BOY, were you right! I emailed them and asked them about glow in the dark flat feet and they sent me an invoice! I paid it of course (had just enough to do so.)

I only hope that the feet actually WILL glow, or else it would just be weird.

I just ordered my Reaa! (White Vert) (what does "Vert" mean, anyway?)

I hope her brown nose paint isn't as pronounced as your Lisa's. Yours is a cutie though! I just would like for my girl's nose to be painted more subtly. I suppose I could fix it but I've never face up'ed anything before!

I was hoping to get the Mint Sherbet Reaa as soon as I saw it, but was dismayed to find out it was sold out. Oh well! Welcome to dolls, orinoco...
