    2. (Edit - Note for new readers of this thread - see near the end of page 2 of this thread for info on waiting for Banjis to come with new leg parts, ordering replacemant leg parts, etc. The new leg parts are not yet available and of 09-Feb-2006)

I have been having a slightly hard to understand (to understand for sure) email conversation with Jee Mon - she is lemonday on Ebay who sells Dollmore and also Dollmore person who communicated with me after I purchased my first Banji at Dollmore site.

It sounds like they are redesigning Banji knees ("new leg parts") which will be ready soon and I asked her wait to send my second Banji until they have new leg parts.

I am now trying to discuss with her if people with the early Banji "bad knees" can get new "leg parts" and who they should contact her to arrange this.

She has not yet answered me on procedure but I think it will be possible. One more email back-and-forth with her and I will hopefully know, and then I will post it here.

I am mostly posting this now for new people who are ordering Banji now since they may want to wait to order or ask Jee Mon that their unshipped purchase not be shipped until it has new leg parts.

Of course we have not seen the new leg parts yet - I am hoping they will be just as cute but less crazy.

      Carolyn

    3. OK - I got the answer from Jee!

"I hope that you will recieve the new banji's leg parts with their next order.
because the EMS shipping cost can be saved. but if they want just leg parts,
they should pay just the shipping cost without extra fee."

So - if you have a Banji with the original bad knees, you have two choices.

      1. Next time you order from Dollmore, send email to Jee and ask her to also ship Banji replacement leg parts with your order, and tell her exactly which Banji you have (link helps - see below). There is no extra charge.

      OR

      2. Just send email to Jee asking for Banji replacement leg parts and tell her exactly which Banji you have (link helps - see below). You must pay shipping but there will be no charge for the leg replacement parts. It sounds like the shipping would be EMS (expensive) but maybe you can try to request airmail since it is just legs.

In either case, it may be best to include a link to the full page description of your Banji at dollmore.net - that was how she verified which one I had. The different Banjis have different skin tone and blushing so she needs to know exactly which one you have.

      Carolyn

    4. My first Banji girl had the original crazy legs that would bend forward, and today I finally installed the new leg parts from Dollmore. Hooray!

      I am frazzled and exhausted.

First I tried to do it the way the instructions said - to push the tiny metal wire piece out of the ankle using another tiny little wire tool that looks like a staple with one end cut off.... I could not do it. My eyesight and dexterity are just not good enough. I used a magnifier on a stand but I could not hold the tiny metal tool straight enough while pushing and I was afraid I would enlarge the tiny hole in the ankle or lose something.

So I decided to see if I could untie the knot in her head, and then maybe restring her with the same elastic. After strugging with the generous knot for about 20 minutes, I gave up on that idea, cut off the knot in her head, and unstrung her, leaving the full length of elastic through her ankles.

Now that her head was off, I decided it would be a convenient time to change her eyes. So I did that three times.

Next I was planning to pull the elastic out of her ankles and start with new elastic, but the elastic was so tight under the metal piece in her ankles I was afraid I would not be able to string my slightly larger elastic through that tight space. So I pulled most of her left side's old elastic to one side of the ankle, tied new elastic onto it. Then I restrung her on that side till both ends were through the neck and I hemostatted them. The extra knot ended up in her calf.

When I tried to do the other leg the same way, I couldn't get the elastic ends through her little neck because the space was now tight. Fortunately the new piece I added on the second leg was very long so I tied it's open end to the open end of the old elastic to make a loop and pulled it through the neck with a long folded piece of thin wire. The extra knots ended up in her calf and torso.

So now I had a long elastic loop, a long elastic end, and a short elastic end out her neck, and I pushed and pulled them into her head. I was unable to find a way to get her tension even and tie all the elastic into one big knot, so I cut the long loop of elastic and securely tied each pair of elastics onto a very small jewelry split ring which seemed willing to nestle in a lower corner inside her head. I gave up on trying to make a loop to hold her headcap on and instead used a little bit of Tacky Glue to hold the headcap on.

I am so glad she is all back together!

      Carolyn

    5. The newer legs are ok. My other Banji came with the newer legs. Anything's better than the old legs that preferred to bend forward or sideways at the knee!

Their original stringing is similar to tiny Elfdoll's except the elastic goes through Banji's ankles and wrists rather than being tied to them with fishing line.

      Carolyn

    6. I was too exhausted to try it, but my original plan for the little split ring was to first tie each pair of elastics together at the right tension in the head, then pull each through the split ring then over the split ring to secure them, so her head could easily be removed again if I ever need to without having to untie any knots or cut any elastic. But I needed something to brace the knots against in her head so I could tie them once, fine-tune the tension, then tie again, so I ended up putting one end through the split ring before tying.

I do think my solution of lengthening one end of the elastic and pulling more of the old elastic's length through the other side of the ankle to lengthen that side was hacky but it gave me plenty of elastic to work with.

And lightly tacky gluing the headcap on was something another member (tinybear?) did after she restrung her Elfdoll tiny so that was where I got that from.

BTW - has anyone noticed the matched circular depressions inside Banji's head on the front and back edge of her open head and on the headcap? Almost looks like you could put little magnets in there. (like ones you could punch or cut out of the backing for flat fridge magnets). But I don't know if magnets that thin and small would hold very well.

      Carolyn

    7. The original knees fit very badly and would like to bend forwards, sideways, etc. The newer knees fit better, not great, but better. The knee design (old and new) shows a gap at the knee when she sits, and her knee design and stringing don't really want her knees to bend 90 degrees (they can, but they would rather just be at 1/2 that), so when she sits, her lower legs don't want to hang straight down. So basically, she could sit better, and with wiring she probably would.

New Banjis ordered from Dollmore should have the newer knees. Those of us who ordered early Banjis with the old knees were able to get free replacement leg parts included with our next Dollmore order (if you had nothing else to order, you had to pay shipping only for the replacement leg parts).

Riley and Madeline clothes would be too big. Here is the main link that covers many things she Banji wear...

      http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44084

I don't know. Perhaps someone else knows.

Like other BJD's Banji's eyes can be changed. I think she uses 6mm eyes. Her little wig is not glued on and may start falling off easily. Her head is about 1/4 inch smaller than Elfdoll but she can wear some of the Elfdoll wigs pretty well. See down the first page of this thread for one of my Elfdolls and Banji trying on Elfdoll wigs...

      http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51746

The seller lemonday on Ebay is Jee Mon from Dollmore. So if you ever see her selling a Banji you like, buying from her is like buying from Dollmore except you can use PayPal.

If you do a search here on DoA for Banji you should find some really cute pictures.

      Carolyn

    8. Im sure you will hear from others too
I love my Banji boy and girl
they have the most sophisticated , elegant sculpt ,
their hands and feet are amazing :) :D
they hold their pose as well as any other tiny , and stand as well , tinys always hold their poses better when they are wired , (which is quite easy to do )

because the tinys dont have the weight of their larger counterparts they tend to "kick" a little more , but its nothing a pipecleaner cannot cure , I found Banji particullary easy to "wire"

Im pretty sure you wont be disapointed if you order one :)

    9. There are posts and tutorials on how to wire BJDs... you can use the search function to find them :) I wired my DES and it was pretty easy :)

    10. :) mine had
      "crazy waist" too

I made a wide figure of 8 pipecleaner and inserted into her torso , that did the trick :)

    11. Banji's head is 3 inches. Elfdoll's is a smidge bigger. They can both wear Elfdoll wigs though most of those wigs need something to hold them on. Tinybear makes Tibetan lamb wigs for Banji and sewaddictd can make a fake fur wigs for Banji.

      Carolyn

    12. I would NEVER take my baby in the sun, but since I live in California I would love to get Deirdre a pair of sunglasses. She isn't here yet..*pouts* but I wonder what size would fit her? She is a goth and is a Sweet Dew Banji but I dreamed of her wearing a cute pair of black sunglasses. *hee*

I know of some clothing threads, but none of them cover sun glasses or glasses even. Any banji owners know what kid of sunglasses would fit? I think she would wear them mostly when she sleeps but that dream was so vivid. Many thanks in advance. :)

    13. Hmmmm, Kelly sized ones fit my Elfdolls, you could try those. Others you could try: Winx, Mini-Blythe/Pullips. Banji's head is pretty tiny, don't think Barbie would fit her.

    14. Thanks. :) I hope to get some Kelly clothes or something to try it out. I wonder if Kelly has any gothic like clothes since my Banji is a gothic girl. :)

    15. My personal experience is no, since Kelly is meant to be about 5 years old....but Kelly clothing is a poor fit for Banji anyhow, at least for pants. My Eomji wears clothing from either Winx or the Bratz line...either the small "baby" type or the newer Bratz Kids. Some of the tops for the regular dolls will work as dresses, and Bratz are much more trendy than Kelly & Co.

    16. Thanks. :) I would save the kelly clothes for my future i-elf doll who would wear mostly anything that would fit her. :)

    17. I think Banji can wear Bratz Babyz clothes for punk clothes. There are mini 4-inch Living Dead dolls - you might be able to use some clothes from them but everything would be short. And you could probably throw together some cute gothy things with black fabric laces, ribbons, and trims.

      Carolyn

    18. I-elfs are bigger than pocket fairies--so the Kelly clothing won't fit her...

I did find a pair of sunglasses for Kelly (I think-- I need to check--don't think they were barbie since it matched a Kelly outfit on her at the time) that I had perched on my banji's head... not sure if they fit her like proper sunglasses--

Can't check until I get home from work...

    19. The mini living dead dolls are pretty hard to find right now - I've been on the lookout and the only place so far is ebay and I can't justify the outfit with the prices they're fetching. I've been to a few local comic books conventions, combed Newbury comics and several other real comic book stores and I wish I bought a few when I saw them first out - I so wanted the anarchy cheerleading outfit and the schoolgirl outfit - my Pansy would have rocked them.

Back to the subject - I don't remember any of the dolls having glasses.

    20. Here is an Ebay search for doll items with the words Kelly and sunglasses in them..

      http://search-desc.ebay.com/search/...ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1&fsoo=1

And here is one kind of fashion pack containing Kelly sunglasses...

      http://cgi.ebay.com/Shelly-kelly-Cl...ryZ48940QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Re goth clothes, I am not sure if 6-inch Sailor Moon doll clothes fits Banji (the items do fit Elfdoll) but here is one in a black tux (Tuxedo Mask) and one in a long purple dress (Queen Beryl). I believe there is also a doll of this type that comes in a black dress.

      http://cgi.ebay.com/Sailor-Moon-3-S...oryZ2438QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

And if you can afford it, Dollmore sells some black outfits for Banji - more Lolita than Goth though...

      http://www.dollmore.net/shop/step0.php?b_code=B20050505091647&c_code=C20060204034057

You could ask this woman who sells on Ebay to make one of her Banji outfits in black..

      http://stores.ebay.com/Zenas-petite-boutique_BANJI-ELF-ELLY_W0QQfsubZ1582062

And ask Margarita ( Margarita_Rosa ) if she could make some black clothes for you. I am not sure if she does Banji dresses and skirts yet but I know she has cute ones for Elfdoll...

    21. I put some barbie sunglasses on my Banji boys and they work fine.

    22. Thanks guys. :) Gothic lolita seems to be harder to find so I thought perhaps Gothic might be an easier find. I might also get a dress or two from dollmore.

    23. Sweetie , I had an I-elf and I dont think Kelly will fit at all the Ielf is much taller and chunkier
I have a picture of her in my comparisons
      you can see her here
the Lillica fit into Kelly clothes a, and you can see the I-elf is much larger
      http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=9251535&uid=909432

    24. Are we talking about the same dolly? :) I have confused myself yet again. I mean the i-elf from DollNDoll right here: http://www.dollndoll.com/goods_detail.php?goodsIdx=478

Is there another doll called i-elf someplace? *scratches head*

    25. No, that's the same doll. She's bigger around than Pocket Fairys, so Kelly clothing will not fit, the outfits will be too narrow. As far as I know, Kelly clothing fits on Pons, Lillica, LatiWhite (a tad roomy), and Cumi/Aga/OD So size (though short in the leg). The tops fit on Elfdolls and Banji, but can end up being midriffs. Pants will be shorts/capris on Elfs, and I don't think they fit over Banji's tush.

I-elf and Pocket Fairys are chubby little things, and need a little more room than Kelly does.

    26. as Clochette said

...pull of heart strings ...Every time I see the I-elf I wish I hadnt sold mine

Kelly clothes will also fit the tiny Ssin ...but you dotn see many of those girls
      and Secretdolls

    27. Oh, thanks guys. :) *blush* I am so in love with the i-elf that I will get one next after I get my banji. I do wonder what kind of clothes would fit an i-elf. Might have to get some barbie clothes to get the sunglasses I want for my banji...

*bounces excitedly* She is shipping and is loaded into the plane in Singapore. *heee!*

    28. I elf are very similar in size to the Lati Yellow
anything to fit LY will fit I-elf

    29. Thank you! *gives huggles* I so love that i-elf. :) There are not many threads on her that I could find. Have you seen Lady with the dog's picture stories? She has the cutest i-elf that she has named Lithium and has made him a boy. Here is her site: http://www.ladywiththedog.com/

Her other dolls are bigger but I just love Lithium..sooom soom! *hee*

    30. Just wanted to ask, because I've requested a Banji for Christmas ^^ Do they all come with the new version of the knees now, or will I still need to ask for them specifically?

Also, can anyone tell me how the rest of their posability is- particularly in the hands? Thanks! :)

    31. All have new knees now if you are buying new. Banji still doesn't have great knees - she could use a pipecleaner in there - but they are tons better than the old knees. And she's got fantastic arms and hands.

      Carolyn

    32. Thanks, Carolyn~ That is good to know- I don't mind having to do a little work on her :)

    33. I am absolutely in love with the little alice outfit that Dollmore has for Banji, but I don't have a Banji and really don't want one. I do, however, have an elfdoll. I know Banji are about the same height, though probably chubbier, but I was wondering if the outfit would work on an elfdoll or if she would just be swimming in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks!

    34. I think it would depend on the dress. Banji's body is a different shape but the measurements are not far off.

      Banji Measurements...

      - Height : 5.7inch
      - Head : 3inch
      - Bust : 2.4inch
      - Waist : 2.4inch
      - Hip : 3inch
      - Foot : 2cm

      Elf Doll: w/mature figure

      Height: 14cm (5.5 inches)
      Head: 7.5 cm
      Bust: 6 cm (2.36 inches)
      Waist: 5 cm (1.99 inches)
      Hip: 7 cm (2.76 inches)
Arm length (shoulder to wrist): 3.3cm
Arms both extended straight across to finger tips: 11 cm
      Wrist: 2 cm

    35. That Alice dress looks like it has extra room in the bust. I think it would not be too tight.

Here is a great photo that might help you decide (Banji with Elfdolls, lightly dressed):

      http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1301321&postcount=7

Banji's shoulders look wider than Elfdoll's - the dress might look a bit bulky or wide in the shoulders on Elfdoll. You'll have to decide.

BTW - with shipping that little dress will be pretty expensive - it might me cheaper to see if this lady in Scotland who sells some handmade Banji clothes would make something similar for you. Search her store for Banji:

      http://stores.ebay.com/Zenas-petite-boutique

      Carolyn

    36. That alice dress is adorable! I can see why you would want it for your tiny.

    37. Thanks for all the help Carolyn!

Yeah it would definitely be expensive for just the dress with shipping, there were some other things I might want and I'd see if I could find a group order, but I'll definitely have a look at that site you linked too.

    38. [IMG]

This is teh Edward Scissorhands face-up, but I got him second hand, so I have no idea how much it cost. It is very cute, though! ^_^

And you will defintely need to find a way to attatch the wig- I use a tiny snap fastener, glued to the head-cap. Without it, his hair just used to flop off the whole time.

    39. Here's my Jet and Fukurou's boy at a meetup. They're a lovely, coffe-with-cream tan color. No color change whatsoever.

Those were the only Tan Banji versions I know of.

    40. Can banji's wear blythe clothes? On dollmore.com alot of the banji shoes say that they also fit blythes.

Their bodies seem about the same size and everything, does anyone know for sure? It looks like the head size would be the only real difference.

Sorry if this the answer is obvious or something...

    41. I don't think so. Banji is very slender and half the height of Blythe. And re shoes - Dollmore Banji shoes are usually pretty big looking on Banji.

      Banji
      Tall: 14.5 cm
      Chest: 6.10 cm
      Waist: 6.10 cm
      Hips: 7.60 cm
      Foot: 2.0 cm

      Blythe/Licca:
      Tall: 28 cm (Licca: 23cm?)
      Bust: 10.5cm = 4-1/8"
      Waist: 7.5cm = 2-3/4" (Licca: 7cm)
      Hip: 10.5cm = 4-1/8" (Licca: 9.75cm)
      Shoulder-heel height = 16.5cm = 6-5/8"
      Inseam (leg length): 10.5cm = 4-1/8" (Licca: 10cm)
      Torso (shoulder-waist): 3.5cm = 1-3/8" (Licca: 4cm)
      Arm length, including hand: 7cm = 2-3/4"

      Carolyn

    42. Did they mean Petite Blythe? I know Petite Blythe clothes fit my Elfdoll Winky. but I am not sure what size banji is compared to her.

    43. ooh that's helpful to hear, for the elfdoll tinies fitting in petite blythe clothing, i am getting a Min ;) (although she has smaller boobs)

    44. The Elfdolls can wear many fo the modern Dawn clothes pieces by Checkerboard - I got som in Kay-Bee toys once. They also fit in some Bratz Babyz and Bratz Kidz stuff. Some Kelly dresses can be blouses on Eldoll and pants become capris.

Banji can fit in some mini Barbie (but you may have to remove sleeves or enlarge armholes). She can wear some Bratz Babyz but not the Kidz. Not sure if any Kelly is usable on her like on Elfdoll, but you could try.

Margarita_Rosa makes slacks and T's and maybe little dresses for both of them. Her sister Rosa makes little ultrasuede maryjanes and boots for both of them.

      Carolyn

    45. Banji (red hair, second from left) with various Elfdolls for comparison. All the "Elf Elly" dolls are Banji, they just have differences in the face sculpts (Kiwi, Eomji, etc.). Rainman is the sculptor for the Elfdolls, not Banji. I'm not sure who is the sculptor for Banji. I would agree that Narsha and Banji look to be the same sculptor, and both are made by Dollmore, so that would make sense (for example, the hands are exactly the same on both dolls, just different scale).

They're in the same scale heightwise, but as you can see, Banji has a heavier, thicker build, with much larger feet. They can share some looser clothing, but the waistline is usually an issue. They do not share shoes.

    46. Elf Elly Banji is made by Dollmore. Around here we usually just call them all Banjis. I do not think Rainmain sculpted them.

      http://www.dollmore.net/shop/step_submain.php?b_code=B20060103034330

They have been made for quite a while. First just 3 of them (one girl white hair, and two boys white and violet hair). Then white skin black hair Banjis were added. Then some very goth ones (Sweet Dew? no longer sold), and some tan ones (Oak? no longer sold). Then the sleeping one and the color/fruit named Banjis. Kiwi is one of the Elf Elly Banji models.

      Carolyn

    47. Er.... I think you mean the lime Banji right?
Bakayaro Onna has a little lime boy banji and looking at her pictures of him it sure looks like he has a shy little smile on his face.
Here is some links to her LJ with a couple of pictures of the little boy, he looks really cute.

Hope you dont mind Bakayaro Onna dear. ^^

P.S. If I remember correctly she asked for some slight modifications to both of their face ups aswell.

    48. No - I don't have neck circumference - I had to stick with limited measurements so the spreadsheet would be easy to use and no too hard to maintain. I show the basic measurements that almost every dollmaker measures the same way and lists with the doll.

Looks to me like Elfdoll and Banji's necks look like they are far from the same size - see the first two dolls here. I am headed to work do I can't attempt to measure that for you, and not sure if I can with my measuring tape - would be hard!

    50. Hey Carolyn. Are there any more working pics of Banji's newer and older legs? I've been scouring the forum but all the ones I find are not comparison photos, OR they are no longer working. I got my banji finally, but I can't tell if they are older or newer knees as they are pipecleanered.

    51. I can explain how to tell. First of all, if you got your Banji from Dollmore new, then they are the new knees. And you didn't say what model you have. Only the original 3 banjis (white hair ns girl, short white hair ns boy, short violet hair ns boy) were sold with the old legs when Banjo was first released. Also a small number of the standard (not special section) black hair white skin girls and similar boy may have been shipped with old legs. All of the newer ones (the fruit/wine names and the specials) should have come with the newer legs always.

The way you can tell the difference is to pull the lower leg (calf) away from the upper leg (thigh) at the knee joint. Now examine top edge of the lower leg (calf). You'll see the edge is slightly inset to fit into the thigh. As you look at the edge near the back of the calf you should see the upper edge slant upward to form a small spike or rise. That is the new leg.

The old leg has even less of an inset edge, and does not form a small spike - it is even all the way around except for maybe a slot in the back.

The newer legs are not great legs. But the old legs were very bad and would often kick forward (knee bent 90 degrees forward) and had no stability al all - zero.

Many people pipecleaner their Banji's newer legs to improve them more (white pipecleaners like the ones really used for cleaning pipes). If you live in a humid area or the doll might get wet, maybe use a light color insulated thin solid wire instead. I still haven't wired or pipecleanered any of my doll, but I think gerneally you want wire strong enough to combat unwanted bending but soft enough to allow bending with light pressure. I think people usually cut a piece long enough to go through maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of the leg, then stick it in the elastic channel along with the elastic so it passes through the knee and stabilizes the joint.

Regarding a photo, I only remember someone posting a photo of the new leg once. I have not stumbled across the photo in a long time.

    52. I found my Banji had kicky EVERYTHING
      his torso drives me NUTS

but he is my Bearen ...and I dont think I could part with him ...tiny boys like him asre so hard to come by !

So last week ...armed with my Glue Gun !
I "hot glue gun" sueded him
      around his torso
and his knees .....I wish I had done it years ago

I figure silicone glue would do it too ..but for that you would have to take him apart

but he is a different doll ...I fell in love all over again
...must try it on my Elf tinys too , see if it fixs their crazy legs

    53. I went through the old dollhouse thread! While 1/12 scale furniture is gooorgeous and detailed, most of the dollhouses make my banji look a biiiit big.

Anyways. So recently I've been doing a ton of work on my banji. And well she needs a home. She's been moving around quite a bit, over the years of my childhood I've accumulated a LOT of doll stuff so I was testing to see which ones fit!

      FITS (PERFECTLY)

Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame Gypsy Caravan. I have noooo idea where to find this, but holy cuteness. It opens on the top, and one side, and has a little plastic bed that fits my banji perfectly. She's been camping out in this while I get her home ready.

      Fisher Price 1/10th scale dollhouse!!!

I got this at a garage sale years ago, and it's a PERFECT fit for her. It's friggin enormous, but folds up pretty flat and can be movable. It's comprised of three floors, a ground floor (living room and kitchen, fully equipped with fridge, sink, and stove) and there are little stairs leading to the second floor which is the main bedroom. The stairs have a tiny closet underneath them! The second floor has a balcony, and a little railing to go with it. The third floor is like an attack, and has enough room for two more bedrooms *a small one and a smaller one* and a bathroom!

The entire thing is pretty well made. All plastic, the floors have wood grain and the walls have panels and the roof has little molded shingles. There's even a friggin mailbox.

The catch? It's painted in uuuugly shades of pastel pink and blue. ECH. No worries, I just spray primed it yesterday and it's my personal project right now <3

And lastly, IKEA furniture! The dollhouse stuff anyways. I have a stove from there and it's scaled very nicely to banji! :D I don't have a dollhouse set unfortunately, so I can't tell you about that, but their furniture is quite nice if you want more modern looking stuff.

I apologize for doing this and not posting photos. My camera is recharging and by tonight I should have photos of the fisher price mansion :P

Snofink (my banji) can't wait to move out of that crappy little caravan and into the niiiiice big second floor of this house. She's super spoiled too. She's got a handmade dollquilt, a wardrobe, all this furniture and clothing. She needs some extra spending money though, so she's considering renting out the third floor to Seda, my elfdoll Adel still in transit, and Lundi, my naripon I'm still paying for, once they both get here. :D

I can't say how well it will photograph because it's two floors. I might have to rig up some lights in the lower level of the fisher price dollhouse. I just love it because it's enormous, but still collapsable. I have very little room in my apartment for dollhouses, considering my blythes are living out of an old retro barbie foldout case, and my sylvanian families are living like little fuzzy refugees in a cardboard box since their old house got thrown out in the big move of 05. ;_; My poor doooolls.

Pics tonight! :D Can't wait for other dolls to get here. Tinies seem to spread like a DISEASE. I'm cut off for quite a while after elfdoll adel, but my next goal is some more banjis, elfdoll catsy, and mebbe a dobigi alice??? <3. I was always obsessed with dollhouse miniatures as a child, this is like, my ultimate fantabulous wildest dreams coming true.

It sounds so nerdy, but I'm really happy right now. I have a crappy old cheap dollhouse, and some super expensive girls to live in it. :3

    54. So...I've been going nuts trying to find things that fit my elfdoll Adel. She is so slender :) Utterly gorgeous and so pose able, but clothing for her is usually too big! I've found some things that fit her alright, that were not mentioned previously.

      ELFDOLL TINIES
      - Bratz TINIES BOYS clothes (tops only) The jackets fit really well. I have two of the bratz prom tiny boys and their dress shirts and tux jackets have been stolen by adel, along with the ties, and waistcoats :3

      - SOME sylvanian family clothes. They make adorable shirts (child size) and cute shorter dresses (if you steal clothes from adults)

      - Petite Blythe clothing (hit or miss) The jumper from love to dress: date set fits elfdolls adorably, as do some of their other dresses. I'm currently trying to get my hands on a few more to buy, the biggest problem is usually hands fitting through the tiny armholes.

      - Disney's little mermaid tiny doll Ariel. Okay, back in the 90's disney made this ariel toy that was literally around 4 inches tall, and she came with a tiny dress that was usually a bit loose on her. For some reason, it fits my elfdoll ridiculously well, and while I hate the colour, I might try dying it.I

Unsure: <b> Does anyone have mini pullip, ddung, dollcena, and mamemomoko clothes that they can photograph on an elfdoll, or let me know if they are too big or too small? I can't tell from pictures alone</b>

And randomly, other things that fit banji:

      - Madame Alexander Mcdonalds toys clothes. These are pretty much PERFECT and just super cute, especially the fairytale ones.

I'm still trying to find really nice boots for elfdoll's slim feet! I'm aware of rosa's shoes, I might have to go to her eventually :)

My camera is recharging at the moment but I'll see if I can post some pics tomorrer.

    55. Mini Pullip and Dollcena are too small. They won't fit around (which sucks, because the little "bo peep" outfit I got would have rocked).

Bratz Kids outfits fit really really well. Some Bratz Babiez items fit the Monnaemi sisters, but are a tad revealing on the Elf girls.

Fitting Banji: Topper repro Dawn clothing fits well.

    56. Another shoe source - Anna Lu. I have to look up her name on DoA/Ebay but her boots for Banji are really nice.

    57. Thanks for this info... I like the Bratz Kidz stuff, but was getting bored with KELLY clothing for my ReRe and Adel!! LOL!
Would love to see pics of these outfit, tops, shoes, etc. soon.
