    2. I am so sad that I moved from Los Angeles shortly before the DH store opened, but my wallet is happy. lol I would love to attend the party, but can't get away from work this time of year to fly out. Have a great time without me though! :)

    3. That's the same day as the VolksUSA Reception. Oh no!

    4. Why does everything has to be in California? Spare some love for the East Coast!

    5. I will be there! One of the Dollheart Christmas Outfits is calling out to me. I want to see all of them in person as well as all the new stuff that came in. Did someone say pumpkin bread?:drool

    9. Not many people have responded. I guess this will be a smaller quieter party this time.

    11. Hope everyone is havin fun!

    12. It was much quieter which isn't as good for business but was very nice for me!!! LOL. I didn't have to trip over people, LOL. It was still very nice, and I got my daughter some shoes and stockings (have to make her Christmas doll a dress) and a pair of eyeco eyes, either for my incoming Lishe or else for my daughter's new Xmas doll :D

Toward 5:00, I got a bit ill, sinus headache, and had to go :( But I think most things were finished by then. Many prizes were given out, really nice stuff!

One funny story, a guy was selling some really cute dollhouse sized tapestries and rugs. When I went to look at them, I asked him, how much they were. He said something like "Well, this one is One Ninety Nine and that one is "Two Fourty Nine" and so I asked, to clarify, do you mean One hundred Ninety Nine dollars or One dollar Ninety Nine cents, and as I recall, he said "Yah, One Ninety Nine" So I assumed a dollar ninety nine, LOL. So I preceded to choose some cute stuff for my doll house, and he tallied it up on paper, when I looked at the paper, the total was written out as $788.00 or some such! I was like ??? *_* :doh

He really made me feel bad about it, but I said, I asked and I understood you to say this... and I'm really sorry but I can't buy those! I left feeling so bad, but it really was his fault, he wasn't in the least bit clear! And my husband pointed out some people do that to try and get you to buy via guilt. Well, luckily, I had no money to free up my guilt, LOL. So there was nothing I could do to put myself in horrible debt, LOL. Oh well... live and learn. I can't imagine anything that small, made by machine, costing so much?? I could understand $20, because they really were nice, but no more! Ugh!

So I'm still venting because this guy made me feel bad, embarrassed, and looking back it was definitely his fault!

Oh well, I feel better now that I'm home and got some sudafed, LOL

    13. It was a lovely evening. I liked the smaller turn out as I was able to shop! I never asked the price of the rugs, but feared it was something crazy like that. I tried to be polite and seem interested, but he was really trying hard to sell to anyone he could, which I found abit awkward as well.

    14. IngieBee-- don't feel bad about the rug thing. He was being very weird in giving the prices! You'd think he'd just mark the prices if he wanted to sell, but nothing was labeled, and I had to ask several times what he meant when he gave the prices and it never seemed very clear! ... They were nice little rugs, but it's no good making buying so confusing!

vampireanneke-- It was nice seeing you! True, the smaller crowd wasn't so good for store sales, but it did make shopping easier, I agree! I didn't mind at all. Some lovely dolls there, as always. Really loved seeing your Medusa-boy! :D

    15. Thanks for making me feel less bad about that guys!

Yah, my daughter was really infatuated with the Medusa boy! I'm surprised as it's a little bit scary, I thought, but she loved it and had to show it to me. Now I need to find her brother's Greek mythology book and read the story to her :D

I LOVE the lifeguard chair! The gentleman (don't know who?) told my daughter he got it at Michael's!!! I already know I don't spend nearly enough time in that store, LOL
