I wish I could go- MS. Cholong- please come up to San Francisco Bay Area! I would offer to host it, but I actually live three hours north of San Francisco in Mendocino County. But- if you live in SF Bay Area and think you would attend a Dollheart event, maybe you could also let Ms. Cholong know!
I love the sound of these parties- it seems like they must be so much fun!

Whee~! Just sent the payment for two tickets. I must poke some peoples I met at a meet in this area the other week and see if they'll show up too!

 

Of course since I am making the cake you will see me and my hubby there as well. I have been trying to see to invite more people to come even those that are non-doll people. Alot have been wanting to come.

 

I have a question for you guys..

Right now I'm not sure what dolls I will bring because one needs a touchup on her face, one guy needs pants (the poor fellow), my msd girl is naked and bald, and so is my msd boy XD So I was wondering.. If there might be news people there to take a pic of our group, would anyone be so kind as to bring some pants or extra clothes or something so my naked dollies can participate? I'd be very appreciative and forever thankful! XD

Ohyeah, and this may be silly.. but I'd rather feel silly and ask then get lost. But the address on the bottom of the flyer"1141 N. Brand Blvd. #100, Glendale, CA, 91202".. That's the address to the shop yeah?

 

My fiancee', Jisatsu, and I will be going. I should have an extra MSD wig by then. We both have extra clothes and such that we could bring, too! ^______^

 

The address on the flyer IS the address of the shop. As for clothing and such for the doll, your going to a shop that sells such items, so do some shopping. I believe one of the 'gifts' we are getting is a coupon book so there should be some great deals for the clothing, wigs, etc... that you need for your dolls. If you have some scrap material laying around, you can make some make-shift clothing. A toga and a head wrap are simple and hide the missing clothes and lack of wigs. You'll find people don't mind naked dollies at the meetups. Often the store display dolls are stripped for their clothing by shoppers. So not an uncommon sight.

Ooo I really want to go since I havn't been to a dollmeet since GoGaDoll >_<. I need some yo-sd sized stuff for my incoming bygg too. Gah better start planning to see if i can make it!

Yeah, I would like to do some shopping there. Doll fund is running pretty low for right now though since I just got my msd and a body for my floating head XD But I'm looking forward to the coupons! I can try making some clothes, too. I could after classes end whatnot. n.n They might turn out crappppyyyy, but it's worth a shot XD

 

LuvPetdolls, well Ms.Cholong isn't the one to package the fukubukuro. Besides, they are 'lucky bags', so sometimes your lucky, sometimes your not. Part of the risk, and what you may not like, another person may love.

Two more people will be coming with me. They are extremely new and dont know much about dolls and they dont have any of their own either. I hope all of you can warmingly welcome them to our world of Bjd. I will introduce you to the sisters at the party so all may know their names. Hooray! I just called and gave my RSVP! I am very excited.

I don't know which resin kids to bring yet...Fern definitely, but I'm not sure about whether to bring Josephine or Francesca....Jovie and Lottie Pie can stay home since they always get to go out!!!!

I asked what the coupon book will contain, but I was told that it was a secret! oooh, the suspense!

 

Just letting you know... I am the +1 with XBlackxRainbowX. ALSO! GAUZE -mode of eve- is also going.

I am still figuring out who of my crew I should bring. I am definately bringing my Lishe boy... If the wig I ordered arrives then I will also be bringing my breakaway.

 

I wish I could come, but my final exam for my Photoshop class is that day. Why oh why is there always SOMETHING when Ms. Cholong has an event?? (headdesk)

I am going to be going to Glendale on Wednesday and I might drop in then and say hi. I'd bring Yumi and Zetto but I will be dealing with other holiday shopping so I'll be heavy laden without them.

This would be our first attendance at a formal doll party of any kind, I hope to meet lots of cool people and have lots of fun~

 

I am hoping to get another friend to attend. She is planning her first doll and so this will be her first time at a meet. I will let you all know when I know for sure.

Crossing my fingers that me and my friend KuroiKioku will be able to attend! Ah, and one, perhaps two others. I'm really excited, I haven't been to a dollmeet since Royal T's Candyland and I've got two new boys to show for it, lol. I'll be double checking with the others and buying my tickets tomorrow if I can! Woop for Dollheart!

 

Less then a week away, I'm so looking forward to this. I always have shopping I need to do while there. (sigh).

I'll be doing it before the 19th definately, but I have to haggle with my workplace and I don't want to respond until I'm sure I can go- but I want the coupon book. T.T

I am pretty sure Mrs. Cholong stated that the coupon books were only for RSVP before the 19th... So people who pay at the door may not get one it seems.

 

Well contact Ms. Cholong/The Store and let her know your situation. That way she can save you one, and if you don't show up, well someone else can get it then.

Okay, I'll bring my Grey Kalix. Now to figure out who to bring with him. I'm rather sure Bottle is going as she is my little elf, and thus works well as a 'christmas elf'. I'm leaning towards bringing my Medusa boy again...oh wait...SHOOOT I just realized that I got a shipping notice and my new doll is waiting at the post office (and I forgot to pick it up this morning on the way to work, like I normally do. Sigh)....

 

i will be at the party. I dropped by the showroom a couple of hours ago and bought my ticket. I will be bringing my Souldoll Apple (MSD) for Cesar (Kagome's DH).

Also, for those who want to buy their tickets at the door, you are welcome to do so. Just let Ms. Cholong know via email so she can prepare a goodie box for you ^_^

It's not a formal party...more like a meetup with a series of events. Dress as you please ^_^ See you all there!

 

Hooray! So a friend is coming with me. She is a total noob and doesn't know much about BJDs yet but she knows she really wants one XDDDD
So she may ask questions. Hope that is alright.

 

We are all good at answering questions. Ms. Cholong is expecially good at answering questions, and getting people addicted.

I want to bring both of my dolls but I am not strong enough to hold my SD for any extended amount of time. @.@

You could always set up your SD on display so you're not holding it for ages (that's what I'd do anyway! Tinies, I don't mind holding, but SDs can be handful over time).

I just sent in my rsvp... Hopefully I'll arrive on time (so bad at that!). Can't decide what to bring. Maybe Tinies... just easier!

 

I just finished putting Baqir back together with a new face-up! I am happy that I might be able to take him =D
Can't wait for this meet. It's going to be loads of fun!

 

I always have to check the time the meetup starts because it changes all the time.

Looks like I'll be bringing DOI Kalix/Death, Domuya LE Vampire Julian/Unnamed (and needs a wig), BB Tiny/Bottle the house elf, and maybe my Medusa boy (maybe I'll have time in the morning to make him a new clothes...).

And don't worry about carrying your dolls around, there is a 'display' area setup where most everyone leaves most of their dolls set up for most of the event. Only carrying around one (usually which everone they are shopping for at the time).

IT WAS AMAZING! I am glad I actually got pictures this time and those gingerbread cookies... Mmmmm....

 

SO. MUCH. FUN. Ms. Cholong, her husband and her baby were adorable, you guys are awesome and I'm still mentally keysmashing over all the gorgeous dolls I got to see. And even though I was hiding behind papermutt and Anhelika for the entire thing, it was a blast. Glad you liked the cookies, guys~

 

I enjoyed this meetup alot. Already posted pictures to the gallery area last night.
