      With new Covid-19 cases on the rise in Dallas and no effective treatment or vaccine in sight, we've made the difficult decision to postpone DollCon Dallas until February 19-20 of 2022. In addition, as one of our members pointed out, there is no safe way to disinfect our dolls!

      DCD will remain located at the MCM Elegante Hotel, and attendee hotel rooms will still be $109 per night. Plans for our panels, workshops, hangout space, and vendor room are unchanged. Our vendor room may even improve, as only ten sellers were willing to travel or be in a crowded place during the pandemic.

      If you've purchased a badge, you can roll it over to the new date without any price increase. Founders will keep their status. The price for badges after December 31, 2020, will be $35. Refunded badges will lose their Founder status.

      If you choose not to roll your badge over to the 2022 convention, please email us at [email protected] and provide us with the name you registered under so that we can provide a refund.

    6. That's a good friend! I have no idea who I will bring. Since it is close to home for me, I'll probably just load up any doll someone would like to see. :) Most of my dolls are pretty portable. The Smart Dolls are light weight and almost everyone else is MSD or smaller. One of my favorite things about doll get-togethers is getting the chance to see so many different kinds of dolls in person. :)

    17. Will be heading to DollCon in Feb. Super excited for it as the last Doll Con I went to was Dollism in Buffalo, NY. I was wondering if there was anyone who'd like to share a room? I have a spot for someone. My room is booked for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights with check out being Monday morning. I'm flying in from Jersey as early as I can Friday morning. I have to call and confirm with the hotel to make sure my room will have two beds, but I'm pretty sure it will. My bf and I will share one and the other is open to anyone who'd like to save some money and split the hotel cost (we'd split it three ways).
