    1. A bigger, better DCD is happening February 18-19, 2023!

      Registrations for badges, doll t-shirts, faceup workshops, tickets to the Saturday evening dinner, and vendor applications are live on our newly-updated website: https://www.dollcondallas.com/

      What's new:
      • A larger vendor room! We've rented the Waterfront Ballroom in addition to last year's King George I, II & III. This also supplies us with an outdoor amphitheater space, and two more bathrooms!
      • The Hangout/Crafting area will take over the room occupied by vendors this year.
      • We're adding a photography space at the back of the Hangout Room that will have doll backdrops and props as well as a human-sized backdrop (We're working on making it a green screen!)
      • A separate Workshop room capable of holding 20-25 students at a time. This means larger workshops and more of them!
      • To avoid the craziness we had in the restaurant this year, the hotel will be catering a Mexican buffet for DCD on Saturday Evening with regular, gluten-free, and vegetarian options.
      Unfortunately, renting more space means a higher price tag, and we're going to have to raise our ticket prices by $5 to cover it. The 2023 badge will cost $30 during the early-bird sales period.

    3. Can't wait to meet you there. :) We had such a great time this year. I know 2023 is going to be even better! Check out the workshops and the buffet dinner on Saturday. You can register for them now, too!

    4. So excited!! :D I think I might be getting two vendor tables this year! Do we have a deadline for prize donations in place yet? I missed it last year, but I'd like to get some special convention eyes made and also donated on time ha.

    15. Even though I live near Katsu, I've never gone. Now that I have a better chance to go I can't get in since everything sells out so fast and I don't drive lol. Have fun at Katsucon!

    26. Is anyone doing any mini meetups at the con or around the area? Never been to Dallas or a doll convention and not sure how doll friendly the town is.

      I'll be there alone, so I'm hoping I can meet and hang out with a few people besides just at the panels.
