Hi friend! Would you be able to share information about how we can donate prizes and attendee goodies? The door prizes page on the site isn’t working for me. I also bought more fabric for the crafting room when I was in LA, but I think it should be fine to just show up to the con with that in hand. So excited to see you all there!
Thanks for letting me know about the door prize page. The site has been experiencing some gremlins. Thank you for wanting to donate as well! Email [email protected] for the mailing address. All donations are due by December 1. Also let her know about the fabric and your ideas. Sometimes the hangout space monitors have planned crafts.
Want to try your hand at faceups for your dolls? Learn to create a masculine-presenting faceup and techniques for working on tan skin in our Tan Skin Male Faceup Workshop led by Jacob Hosey of BlankSpace Dolls! Or try our Female Anime Faceup Workshop with Sam Szczesny-Dale of Nocturne Doll Studio! Both workshops are paint-along sessions. Supplies provided, including a practice head. All workshops are open to DCD attendees. Haven't registered for DollCon Dallas yet? The early-bird price of $35 ends October 31, a 30% savings off the regular price. Good news and sad news. First, this year will be DollCon's last. Most of our 11 staff members are dealing with serious health issues, and/or the care or loss of sick family members. Some of us have young children who deserve lots of time and energy, and others are ready to retire. Also, the costs of the convention after this year's contract expires will increase exponentially. We're all grateful for the support you've given to DCD over the past six years, and we hope you'll join us in making 2026 a memorable and joyous finale to all the fun we've had over the years. And we do plan to make this final convention fun. We're pleased to add Barb from Enchanterium to our awesome lineup of presenters! Barb is one half of the dynamic duo doll customizers, costume creators, and 3D prop makers. Barb will join us via Zoom to talk Resin 3D Printing for Doll Artists and Makers on Feb 22, an intro to getting started with resin printing. Get your ticket today and don't miss out! Only 38 tickets remain and the last day to buy is February 1. We do not sell tickets at the door! You need a ticket to access all panels, workshops and the vendor room!
I have my ticket and hotel! I'd love to connect with some other collectors....I'm going all my myself (well, and my bjd companions) so I'm really hoping I'm not that awkward alone person the whole time....
