As we now have a new thread for these amazing eyes,( formerly from I Eat Paper), I would love to see pictures of the eyes you have purchased in your dolls.
I luv the eyes so much! I wish I had more moolah for more eyes but so far I have these. I called them beige with shimmer they didn't have a name ^^. The eyes have an amazing depth! They look different in different eyesockets. Same eyes in different dollies; SD Mika with new face up, light was closer here: ]
Comparison of 18mm and 16mm Aisu eyes with other companies: 16mm comparison closeup 18mm comparison closeup 16mm Sandstone/Beige in a doll (Volks School A): 18mm Aqua (from the first batch; new 18mm uses a different mold) in a doll (Volks SD Kun): 18mm old Aqua and new Sandstone with sparkle in a doll (Volks SD Kun): The new 18mm is minutely larger.
Need to get me some 16mm too ^^. Luv the depth of these eyes. Custom yellow shimmer 18mm: Custom yellow shimmer 18mm, Pale purple/lilac shimmer 18mm, 12mm pale yellow shimmer, 12mm threadless shimmer party tree and violet. Sadly my pale yellow gloss surface melted a bit during shipping thankfully the other eyes were safe >_<. The 12mm are for my future Unoa elder lol..I was a bit hasty XD but I like these eyes that much.

I got my eyes today \o/ I would've gotten them yesterday if the mail service hadn't screwed up, but they're here now~ :3 For reference: I ordered 3 pairs in the first few minutes of the preorder and the eyes were shipped last Monday. Bright Gold and Frozen (in 12mm) Frozen Bright Gold
GlossReality, thanks :3 They do look gorgeous but they sort of outshine the doll and took away the expression she used to have with her duller ED eyes. The size is perfect for her yes, but I can't use them for her and I don't really have other dolls that could wear gold eyes in 12mm. That's why I wish I'd gone with a bigger size: I've got plenty of fantasy characters that use 14mm that could really work these eyes. Here's a front view of the bright golds: They shine like crazy, and there doesn't even have to be much light for them to catch it.
Well, I still haven't managed to be home before dark, so I took some pictures with flash and/or indoor lighting for you guys I don't have a macro lens, so I couldn't get in quite as close as I wanted to. Based on these, the pictures on the website are fairly accurate. Denim in 16mm These are my favorites! Photos don't do them justice by a long shot. They are SO deep, clear, and sparkly. The "scratches" you are seeing in some close-up pictures aren't really scratches, just my fingerprint. Sublime in 12mm Nice and vibrant for such small eyes. The dome is a little bit high for this sculpt, but otherwise they are perfect for my girl DSC_0852 by AndreaJEP, on Flickr DSC_0803 by AndreaJEP, on Flickr DSC_0837 by AndreaJEP, on Flickr Dome from side (16mm): DSC_0858 by AndreaJEP, on Flickr
I got my Frozen eyes yesterday. ^^ I did a quick comparison with a custom ice blue pair that I commissioned a few years ago: DollBakery old vs new by mizya, on Flickr I'm really pleased that the shade is pretty much exactly the same, because I love it! It's so hard to find truly pale, icy blue eyes. The new pair of eyes has more depth and detail, and a darker iris rim. The quality has improved a lot over the years, I'm a very happy customer!
I ordered a couple of sets from Doll Bakery and her eyes are beyond amazing! I've been waiting maybe 4-5 years to get some of these and it was so worth it and she is such a pleasure to deal with. I only have one photo to share for now, these are 14mm Denim and they truly glow! more so than the picture shows. the quality of these eyes is just amazing ^_^
I ordered 12mm Pancake eyes, and might I say I will never buy eyes from anywhere else again. Every doll from here on out will have Doll Bakery eyes--no exceptions! Anora's eyes from the Halloween order came in today, and I'm absolutely delighted with them. The box is awesome. The eyes came with protective blue plastic over them. When I took that off I was stunned at how beautiful these eyes are. Anora and Egon both wear DollBakery eyes, and will never wear anything else. Egon is wearing 12mm Pancakes and Anora has 10mm Soft Rabbit Gray. And here they are with a flash! Egon's eye seems to be off-kilter. I didn't notice it until just now. The poor guy.
So, my eyes from the Winter order finally came in today. I ordered Unicorn and Malibu in 14mm. They arrived nicely packaged, and have no flaws that I can see. However, the Unicorn color is not what I was expecting. While both sets of eyes have amazing depth, the Unicorn color is very pale and incredibly difficult to photograph. See below: Yes, they really are that washed-out in person. I'm very disappointed, because they looked so, so nice on the website. I don't think I'll be keeping them. The Malibu, on the other hand, are gorgeous. They're just as beautiful and intense as they are on the website, but a little darker in person. I'll post photos later.
Earlier this month I was lucky enough to buy four pairs of flawed urethane eyes from DollBakery and they arrived today. So psyched! For anyone wondering, the artist DOES plan to put her flawed (aka: "imperfect") eyes from the Winter 2014 batch up for public sale soon. Save your money! You won't be disappointed! The pairs I received were: 16mm Denim 14mm Denim 14mm Rainbow 12mm Malibu Photos (in doll and out of doll) below. Hi. I received my packages from Doll Bakery for quite some time ago but didn't have the chance to post it. I ordered Pancake and 2 custom pupil color Unicorn. I personally really like the lightness of the Unicorn eyes and the details in these eyes are amazing!!
Would anyone be willing to show pictures of the Unicorns in doll, please? I'm thinking of ordering those for a doll of mine. And me too, I have Frozen eyes to show in 14mm in my Dia: They are finally the right kind of icy blue eyes I have been searching for years!
Shara The frozen blue color looks really good on your boy!! Also, here's a picture of a pair of Unicorn eyes in my boy. The pupil is custom colored (to be light robin egg blue color though) but I hope this helps. ^ ^ The light in this pic is aided with a spotlight and adjusted in photoshop so here's another pic that is without any artificial light and unadjusted (also with a bit of shadow darkening it a bit). https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8700/17317284662_0eb686916b_b.jpg
Here are some 12mm Flame eyes. Sorry for the long overdue pic ^^; I also have 12mm Aqua and Copper, as well as 14mm Frozen and Silver. If you need a pic, feel free to ask
Doll Bakery and Silicone Eyeco Eye Comparison by Molly M, on Flickr[/IMG] I prefer a small iris for my adult male dolls. It's also very difficult to find realistic dark brown eyes. I did my very best for Jeremy (Popodoll Chen) with 11mm eyeco #163 eyes. They are nice eyes but the Doll Bakery eyes are clearly the winners for Jeremy. The left eye (Jeremy's right) is Doll Bakery 12mm low dome, small iris, Double Root Beer. The Doll Bakery eyes seat in the eyewell much better, do not leave a noticable gap, and photograph very well. To my human eye, the Doll Bakery eyes have more detail and look more like a human iris. My only regret is only ordering one pair, now my other dolls are feeling left out. I have also tried these eyes in my Dollshe Saint and they look beautiful in his eyewell too. Saints also are difficult to find eyes for as they have small eye wells and narrow eye holes. These are from a group order of primarily Iplehouse owners. These eyes are super hard to buy, but I hope being patient will eventually pay off for the other dollies too!

Okay, I discovered today that getting a good shot of eyes in a doll is difficult! Please forgive the poor quality of the photos! The quality of the eyes is awesome! I have amassed eight pair so far. A couple more are on order. These things are addictive! And beautiful! Doll Bakery 10mm SI TieDye by aernath, on Flickr Shown in a Granado Neptune Evol head, with the blue part behind the eyelids. The Doll Bakery eyes I ordered arrived in September, they are very beautiful & I'm really happy with their vibrant yet natural colors. They catch the light nicely and track well in my opinion. These are (from top left going clockwise): Bronze 14mm, Frozen 14mm, Minnow (formerly New) green 14mm, and Rosemary 16mm. Here they are in dolls, first Bronze 14mm: On left is Frozen 14mm on right is Rosemary 16mm: Up close Rosemary 16mm (my personal favorite): I'll update this post with photos of Minnow (new) green in a doll later after I take better photos of them.
