I may be jumping onto creating this thread a bit too early because November is only about to end but this type of thread is one of my favorite things to read year after year and it fills me with joy to have the chance to be the one starting it this year! It helps me feel connected to you all Starting with myself, I always keep my list of plans realistic, cute and short so I don't get overwhelmed when summer comes along and I haven't done as much as I wanted: Finish Roro (buy body, commission custom dye and face-up, make wig, and enjoy!). Sell the doll that's been on the box since April and a bunch of clothing/other items too. Post at least one doll/doll-related picture a week on my IG. Work on my neglected diorama idea (wallpaper, floor, chimney and bookshelves at least). And now I'm asking you, my lovely doll-people, tell me, what are your doll plans for 2025? I hope you're able to bring all your plans and dreams to life this year!
I know it will be a fail if I say "buying no doll in 2025", but at least I plan no dolly purchase. I'd like to sell some dolls, at least 5, maybe more. In my wildest dreams, I become reasonable and go back to 50 BJD. (I'm at 62 now, with two more ordered) I'd like to find the time to paint one doll tattoo (the one I didn't in 2024) I'd like to continue sewing outfits, and maybe buy no already made outfit. I'd like to continue crafting wigs, and buy no wigs at all. I'd like to finish my dragon skull helmet prototype. It's in progress since 2019 ^^' It's in the line with my 2024 goals.
2025 Goal : Buy no doll except a DoDollsDream Miss Marionette in Woodland Echo Before April, sell all outfits that I no longer want to keep If possible, sell my Iplehouse Reese Continue to make wigs Finish the makeup for Iplehouse Beagle, that has been too long More indoor photo shooting since I would move to a better illuminated room
Obtain remaining missing bodies for Switch Yozo, Supia Esther, foryourdoll Jiyuan, Devotion Doll Lunevis, Kiss Dodo mini Asuha, and Devotion Doll Mini Bite Trade or sell my old Supia body for a better resin match Commission the Devotion Doll Mini Bite faceup, the Devotion Doll Bite SP faceup, the Kiss Dodo mini Asuha faceup, the dye, faceup, and eyes for my iplehouse cat, commission eyes for my souldoll head, commission a wig for my Puyoodoll hybrid Buy Mini Bite eyes, wig, clothes, and shoes, buy Switch Yozo wig, clothes, and shoes, buy Jiyuan clothes and shoes, buy Supia Esther clothes, shoes, and wig, buy Lunevis shoes, buy the Bite SP wig, clothes, and shoes, buy the Mini Asuha clothes and shoes. Restring the iplehouse cat with better elastic somehow Consider making Harley a more canon accurate sweater Keep new dolls to a minimum, but I plan on 3 new full dolls soonish.
2025 Goals buy a body for my Mr. Rabbit (if I can sell some dolls) sell some dolls (to get a new body for my Mr. Rabbit) geetting faceups for at least 1-2 dolls sewing some outfits In general I want to get more involved in the hobby as I neglected my dolls for a looong time now. I have a new space where I hopefully can display and enjoy them more.
Failed it big this year but I'm gonna try again at buying (few to) no dolls in 2025 unless the the one doll that is actually in my mental wishlist pops up second hand. I simply have too many to be able to expand anywhere any more! No new hybrids. Most of my dolls are hybrids and I love them but it takes so much brainpower to match them up with parts sometimes and I feel like I'm at the point where I want the whole thing to arrive at the same time so I can enjoy it immediately. So I will try to curb my urges of playing musical bodies indefinitely Remake my old fiber wigs as soft cap wigs so they actually stay on the heads! I've graduated to a better method and want all my wigs to fit well. Make the Angelic Layer cosplay for my Unoas that I've been putting off for at least half a year Finally update the gallery part of my doll website Find time to take a break from the hobby - I love dolls but it's eating up funds and time for other interests and I want to reset priorities a bit. Maybe it doesn't need to be full-on doll time all the time?
This thread is not to early for me since I’m not shopping for dolls or doll related items until after the holidays unless my grail becomes available for near retail. Stick to my wishlist and only buy 1-3 dolls total Sell 2-4 dolls Find that one special wig for a character that I failed to find in 2024 Sell unused outfits and clothing items even though I don’t need the space Take a bit of a break from bjd to focus on curating my ot dolls Always my goal to take more pictures, but that depends on the weather since I don’t have studio lighting…hmm maybe my goal should be to get studio lighting
I might be able to at least partially achieve one of these goals depending on how the Black Friday and holiday sales shake out, but we'll see. No plans to buy new dolls, the only one I should be looking out for is a cyborg/robot doll that fits the style and size I like. (So far, does not exist) Move out the one doll who's been hanging in her box See about downsizing some of the clothes, perhaps, as well as an extra wig or two But also, more pants for the SD-and-adjacent dolls! And socks for everyone! Two of the four SD-and-adjacent dolls don't have (long) skirts in their style and everyone really needs pants. I think there's one pair of long pants between the SDs proper, then one each for the adjacents Chandra specifically needs underpants. I could probably sew those right quick, but I just need to do it See about spending more time with them, but no big pressure here, I know my hobbies can cycle Maybe start replacing some of the wigs I have with mohair/synthetic mohair? I really love that material Semi-related to dolls, but eat through more of my yarn and fabric stash! A bunch of which is random bits and bobs I got for doll clothes!
Perfect! I so look forward to these every year. I’m already thinking ahead to my goals for the new year, and this will give me the opportunity to further refine and work on my list. 1. No more new dolls! I know I’ve failed miserably at this one over the past five years (so true) but I now feel my collection is finally complete and I’ve truly run out of display space. Just a little “oops” here, adding a bargain impulse-buy head for an exciting new character (Luts Senior Delf Aru)…but I’m using the body of a recently “decommissioned” character to hybrid her, so she won’t add to my numbers which is good. 2. Pay off my single remaining layaway from 2024 (for my gorgeous Dream Valley Ghost Moth.) Done!!! 3. Work on my remaining faceups and artwork. I have quite a few left in the queue. a) My huge Dollzone Sawarieda mermaid. (It’s daunting, but I’ve put it off far too long already.) After two years of staring longingly at her amazing yet blank sculpt, I FINALLY pulled the trigger and completed her…Done!!! b) My Dollzone Moment flower doll. (His faceup and headpiece are done, but now I need to work on his amazing flower petal body.) Done! c) Myou Macarena needs her lips redone to be more dimensional and match her lovely company faceup. Done! d) Finally put those story-like stitch lines on Button’s hands (Kaniboom Muppet Rabbit Bianca head on Luts BabyDelf body.) Done! e) Create a fun and colorful kawaii faceup on my incoming Luts Senior Delf Aru head. Done! f ) Revamp the faceup and mechanical body blushing on my Doll Chateau Gladys to better reflect her character’s connection to the “White Rabbit”. (Delayed until next year…) g) Paint and resin-match the new fox ears for my forest boy, PicotPrince Makoto, and adjust his faceup as needed. Done! 4. I’ll continue designing and sewing for new dolls especially (once the last of my preorders finally arrive home…they will obviously need clothes.) 2 button-down blouses made for my incoming Ringdoll SD Jade A cute pair of multi-fabric overalls for my incoming Ringdoll SD Jade A lolita-inspired apron dress for my incoming Ringdoll SD Jade A short ruffled skirt and pinafore made for my incoming Ringdoll SD Jade 2 pairs of colorful bloomers for my incoming MSD Dollzone Ya Cat A pair of ruffled bloomers in pink made for my incoming Luts Senior Delf Aru A puff-sleeved blouse in pink for my Luts Senior Delf Aru 2 yellow gingham blouses and 2 pairs of matching bloomers for my Luts Senior Delf Aru A yellow and pink patterned Lolita skirt and two matching gingham hairbows for my Luts Senior Delf Aru A care bears print Country Lolita skirt for my Luts Senior Delf Aru A puff-sleeved blouse, ruffled bloomers and two matching hairbows in red for my Aru An ephemera patterned Lolita skirt in red with white lace for my Luts SD Aru An ephemera patterned Lolita skirt in pink with pink lace for my Luts SD Aru A puff-sleeved blouse, ruffled bloomers and two matching hairbows in a pink/red print for my Aru A tiered and ruffled Lolita skirt in a cute red print with birds for my Aru (and this finally completes her wardrobe.) A revamp of my PicotPrince Makoto’s character necessitated the need for two new fox print yukatas A multi-print blouse and long bloomers for my Volks 3 Sisters Megu A tiered and ruffled Lolita skirt in multiple Spring prints for my Megu 2 storytelling apron dresses for my Megu 5. Small tweaks: a) (This one is sadly left over from last year and it simply must get done!) Turn my extra floating Luts BabyDelf Gabriel head into a fancy hat stand display for my amazing SD hat collection. Done! b) Make a special stand for my Doll Chateau Elizabeth spider girl so all those spindly legs are better supported (and my cats will stop gently bumping her and causing her to fold in on herself.) Done! c) Turn the Aimerai Scraps Illusion head of my recently decommissioned character into another of my fancy hat stands. (The body will go to a hybrid I’m currently working on, but this head with its fabulous faceup is too epic to sell!) Done! 6. Refining my displays. Due to the size of my collection this is always a big thing. Although my collection is pretty much complete there are still some preorders that are destined to arrive this year, and they must find their perfect display space and be properly curated. (Often the addition of a single newly arrived doll can put multiple displays in flux.) Made a new “corner of the enchanted attic” display for my various assorted-size fairy types to hang out together. Created a new and improved display for my hatmaker character and her collection of elaborate, sentient hat stands. Completely redid my religious iconography display for my rosary keeper, Rosetta. Repurposed a display shelf for my shape-shifting boy, Kitsune, so he can keep protective watch over the tree house. 7. Stock up on MSC! I really need it…a lot of it! (See #3) 2 cans of MSC purchased in January 2 cans purchased in February 4 cans purchased in March (and I’m finally completely stocked up on MSC!) 8. Names! I need to come up with naming ideas for all my incoming dolls, and tweak a few older ones to better go with the flow. This is always a hugely important deal for me, so I need to do research and a lot of in-depth thinking on my way towards completing my collection. a) Finally decided on a the perfect name for my Dollzone Sawarieda…the beautiful Hawaiian flower-based name, Leilani. b) After months of deliberation, incoming Dollzone Ya cat will be named Catnip. c) Finally came up with the perfect name for my incoming spooky Doll Chateau Elsa, Belladonna. d) While thinking of a name for my incoming impulse buy, Luts Senior Delf Aru, I suddenly remembered a name I made up many years ago but never used…Euphemera (a combined form of the old-fashioned name, Euphemia, and the word for perishable paper antiquities, ephemera.) It’s absolutely perfect for her character! e) I shifted a name around (Imaginaria) to free it up for my incoming Ringdoll Jade, for whom it is better suited. The doll who used to have that name will now be called Whimsy instead, which better suits her. f) My PicotPrince Makoto got a revamp of his character when I stumbled upon a great pair of fox ears in the marketplace, so I changed his name to Kitsune. g) I changed the names of my Luts TinyDelf and Fairyland Pukifee to Musique and Musette in order to add an extra musical connection to their characters. 9. Purchase any doll necessities: a) My Peakswoods Briana’s old mohair wig finally gave up the ghost. I wound up ordering more Tibetan mohair to make another one like her original. (Done!) b) I strongly disliked the ill-fitting wig my fullset Myou Macarena came with. I found her a more suitable one in a lighter Khaki Brown by For My Doll at Denver Doll. (Done!) c) For my new impulse buy of the year, Luts Senior Delf Aru, she will need a very special wig and eyes to reflect her unusual character. Luckily I found the perfect wig right here in the DoA marketplace…from one of my favorite sellers! (Done!) Ordered a special pair of custom eyes from Chronic Art Dolls on Etsy. (Done!) d) Because I’m re-doing my Doll Chateau Gladys, I need to find her a new white wig to better express her character. I found the perfect one, a Leekeworld White Rose from Denver Doll. (Done!) e) I saw a pair of gorgeous resin fox ears in the marketplace and immediately realized they were exactly what my PicotPrince Makoto needed to take his character to the next level. (Done!) f) Buy my PicotPrince Makoto a pair of faux fur wigs (one to use as the wig and another for making extensions) and some art fibers to add also. I found the perfect moss green faux fur wigs from a favorite seller on Etsy, and found the perfect art fibers on Etsy too. (Done!) g) Found a wig to perfectly match my Luts BabyDelf Azhar’s caramel colored eyes. (Done!) h) Found a gorgeous long white wig in the DoA marketplace for my Luts Senior Delf Kathy. (Done!) i) Came across a wonderful multi-colored ponytail wig in the DoA marketplace for my Ringsoll Jade. (Done!) 10. Keep up with my doll profiles here on DoA. (With my fairly large collection, I don’t ever want to get behind again! Mesquite’s profile done! Euphemera’s profile done! Leilani’s profile done! Imaginaria’s profile done! Various revised tweaks to old profiles completed.
I love this kind of thread! A few of the below are ongoing, a few are new, and some are goals that I didn't meet in the previous year. My ultimate over-arching goal is to enjoy my collection, and that includes not getting mad at myself for things I don't complete. I just need to regroup and try again. I tried to frame some of my goals as ways to enjoy my collection. Move along: Reorganizing everything in 2024 resulted in a pile of items that I can't use, or that I just don't want anymore. So as much as I dread it, I should take actions to move those items along. Continue being mindful of doll purchases: It was nice in the past year to be able to work on dolls I already have without needing to think too hard about getting multiple new additons situated with basic items. Being mindful means (to me) that I shouldn't buy impulsively, and I should consider what actions I have for the purchase and what I currently have going on in my life and in this hobby. Such as if I'm hyperfocused on one particular doll or doll size in my collection, is the intended purchase limited or basic, etc. My first two dolls I bought when coming back into the hobby were impulse purchases and they don't fit into my collection at all. I don't like the regret that comes with that. Being mindful of doll purchases should keep new additions at a reasonable pace, which would also keep the faceup queue less overwhelming. I don't want that to get backed up again. I had stepped away from the hobby in 2017, and prior to doing so I had multiple dolls that needed a faceup. After coming back fully to the hobby in 2023, I sent 15 heads to a faceup artist starting in mid-2023 and through mid-2024. Ouch. If I'm buying a doll, I should book them for a faceup as soon as I can after they arrive home. No sitting around and waiting, even if I step away from the hobby again. Continue crafting for my dolls: I did well this past year to sew some things. But I have a lot of dolls, and several still don't have things that are specifically their own. I will continue to approach things by making what I'm inspired to make, not necessarily what I think needs to be done. It's done well to keep me from getting overwhelmed and just abandoning everything. I'm still working on the fact that there are no such things as deadlines for this hobby for me. I don't go to meets or cons or participate in contests, etc. This is my fun hobby, and it should be FUN. Not overwhelming and stressful. Also with this line item, I want to explore more into prop making. I'd like some of my dolls to have certain accessories, and unfortunately I cannot source the majority of them already made. I'm putting it on myself to at least try to make them. Additionally, I'd like to continue chipping away at my UFO Box. I made a small dent in it in 2024, but there are still a lot of items to finish. It turns out that batch cutting items is not for me, lol. Reorganize doll cabinet: Right now I have everyone sitting down in the cabinet. Good for keeping them steady, not so great for their stringing. This also makes each of the larger dolls take up a signficant amount of space. And I've been trending towards larger dolls, unfortunately. I'd like to acquire some sturdy stands so that I can store everyone standing up, which will give me room for more dolls later on. Reorganize fabric closet: My fabric is all organized for the most part, the issue is that it's all in large totes that are stacked in a closet. The system itself works to keep the fabric organized, but if I want something or need to put something away, I basically need to unload at least half (if not all) of the closet. My idea is to gut the closet and build a shelving system for the totes so that I can just pull out the tote I need. I also need to purge my stash. Catalog collection: Regrouping and going to give this another try. I've got an initial start that I'd like to build on further and create a nice, cohesive reference. Maintenance: Some could use a cleaning, new hot glue sueding, and new elastic. Typical maintenance things that I should probably be better at keeping up with. I might throw 'posing modifications' into this line item as well, courage pending. Upgrades: I think several of my dolls could use some new eyes and/or wigs. I did some window shopping and made a list already and...
I have a good feeling about next year. My motivation to do creative things has been better, so I'm hoping that carries over. I have dolls and accessory lots to sell, and I want to hopefully get those sold next year. My SD girl needs a new body, and I really want to make that the only doll purchase outside of special occasions. I want to talk more in the BJD Discord. I've got some dolls I need to finish, which involves: Buying that new body. Making a wig. Painting and redoing some face-ups. Purchasing eyes. EDIT: It's January and some plans have changed. Mainly I've added a few more things to my list of doll plans. The biggest one is I plan on making a sealing box for bad weather. The next has been a long time coming, but I plan on painting the nails of the dolls that need their nails painted and giving the ones with piercings their piercings.
im gonna be buying more clothes baby!! i also want to make a little display for my dolls i'm getting a new doll in the next year too! and maybe i'll learn to 3d model so i can sculpt my perfect boy doll
Improve upon (male) doll OC concepts Regulate impulsiveness for buying pretty dolls and continue to do research Buy a (male) doll including eyes + wig + whatever Do better faceup for (male) doll Continue to craft for muh dolls (Props / mini-foods, accessories, maybe basic furniture, mini books...) Improve at faceups, crochet, sewing (!) Continue to make social progress with this hobby Take more pictures of doll and formally set up Flickr Go outside with dolls while hopefully avoiding "NPCs" Look at dolls on my desk while I work or relax Extract happiness from dolls, the ultimate goal! Get two male dolls for each other to prevent doll loneliness OMG I support your wedding!! Do you have a registry yet??
2025 Goals Keep up with changing dioramas: I have a little living room diorama in one of my desk's little cubbies and right now it's set up for Christmas so I'd like to try and change it up throughout the year for different holidays and seasons. New Dolls: I'd like to see about getting maybe two more dolls-- One of which being a Feeple60 Cygne (I want to turn her into Princess Serenity from Sailor Moon), and then a Feeple60 Celine for Anna's design from Frozen II. And honestly, I'll probably end up with another YoSD and tiny or two. Projects: I'd like to continue a project I've got planned. I've currently got a Fairyland Ciel fullset with Therian head on layaway (finishing it this Friday), and I'd like to get a tan Fairyline body for the Therian head and then, hopefully, get the Fairyline Doe Legs in white. I missed out on them twice because I was being indecisive about even getting the Ciel and it bums me out greatly. Project II is to see if I can find either the Rabbit or Faun legs in white for my Realfee Eva that should be coming in by around Christmas. Clothing and accessories: My main two things would be to see about getting a custom outfit of Elsa's Travel Outfit from Frozen II made for my Feeple60 Scarlett (who, yes, is dressed as Elsa). I'd also like to see if I can find the wig from the Volks release for her. If not, I'll have to commission that too. The second main thing is to commission a custom outfit for Princess Serenity. I have some ideas on where to get these made, but I'm going to look around. I also need to order more clothes for my incoming Realfee as well as shoes for both of the ones I have and see if I can make a little Hobbit themed outfit for one of my YoSDs. And then if I do end up getting the Feeple60 Celine, I'd commission Anna's Travel Outfit too. Then I need casual clothes for Elsa and Anna.. Gotta go through and purge some clothes and wigs I have in my collection since I don't use them and have no plans to use them. I need a mushroom themed outfit for my incoming Mushroom Beast Girl. Faceups: I need to work on the faceup I have for my Resinsoul Mei with Xi ears. I had gotten a custom one from Resinsoul, but it didn't come out how I'd like so I need to redo it. I'll need to do a faceup for my incoming Mushroom Beast Girl as well. Miscellaneous: More photography is a must. I say this every year and I do pretty well so I'm excited about this. Need to see if I can get a casual outfit for Elsa prior to the custom one so I can put her in the snow this winter. I have to readjust the space in my workroom to make it look nicer and more conducive to my needs. I need a few more doll stands too... My goals are pretty simple, but expensive. Hopefully I stick to this! Though, I'll probably end up with more on my list, I think this is a good start.
1) Try to decide if anyone needs to be sold - I have more dolls than I can appreciate. 2) If no one is getting sold, figure out a better way to display everyone or put some away and make a rotation schedule. 3) Buy that one doll I have been thinking about. Try to find bodies for my floating heads or rotate them on existing bodies. 4) Go through all their accessories and downsize them. 5) Post doll accessories for sale - yes, some sold at a doll meetup but let's get them out to the masses. 6) Actually handle my dolls. I haven't really touched some of them since 2020. If they're always going to wear the same wig/clothes, let's get rid of their extras.
I been trying to bring my doll family to life for a super long time, some impulse buy ,a long break, some miss chances, but I also discover we got a lot more talented artist now who can even custom you boy, and companies are still coming out with hidden gems . So 2025 I’ll be getting my two oc custom into bjd,and I got my eye on dream valley new boy and loongsoul few darlings. Also vampire Hyperion in tan skin, if they ever happen ,come on soom give us more then limited and raffle -.- I beg of you
I planned on 2024 being a low-buy year and it ended up being a surprisingly splurgy one! I also never got around to finishing my vinyl girls this year, nor did I get to do a lot of sewing (it's taking us longer to get into a new house than I originally thought). My 2025 plans/goals/whatever are: Faceups for Phoebe, Marcie, and Khadija (top priority -- I need my current dolls done!!) Faceups for my vinyl dolls Sell my 2 remaining old dolls (my final sales!) Low buy on new dolls -- I'm tentatively planning on adding 2, both vinyl, to my collection but I'm aiming for no new resin Bodies for my new floating heads Develop characters for my new floating heads Start sewing for my dolls -- I have some fabric for kimonos/yukatas, so I'd like to start there Attend my local community's doll meets! Overall, I'm pretty stoked for where my collection is at and I don't feel the need to add much more to it. Mostly I just need Stuff and Things for the dolls I already have. I'm on track to graduate with my master's next year, though, and I want to get a vinyl girl or 2 to celebrate such a monumental accomplishment.
Omg my favourite thread every year (every year full of unfilfilled promises and lies to myself.... but also some inspiration and challenge) So, apaprently, last year (2023) I had such solid plans: making clothes, making wigs, taking tons of photos, creating dolly profiles, cutting down on some resin. Things I accomplished: obviously, nealry NOTHING So, this year, I'd try to accomplish the following, but I'm less and less hopeful lol + make SOME clothes + maybe make some wigs actually + take just enough decent photos to create dolly profiles on DoA + find new loving homes for my resin crew FS + avoid temptation to bring home any new resin. But the question on the "break from the hobby" is an interestting one too! This year I was sooo overworked (up to 90h per week), so there was no way in hell I could doll. I sacrificed my health for my job, and in turn, to soon by my own flat (I hope it goes well sooo much). So right now, this is my priority, obviously. That's why I've decided to part with even more resin than I'd have otherwise. But it's been a good year anyway. I am grateful... so grateful that I managed to bring back home my OC in its original form of Migidoll Jina. I didn't know I'd been missing him so much (for like 9 years) until he go home So I hope that 2025 is sort of similar in that it doesn't need to be full of intense emotions and dollying, but I might get to have just a littl emore time for some modest dolly fun
for me it's currently: buy bodies for the floating heads I have right now (oops!) get wigs/eyes/clothes for the dolls who need them try making wigs and/or sewing clothes most importantly: stop buying things so impulsively LOL
My goals for the coming year are: Customize dolls into my dnd character and her friend by the NYC con in March, which means: Making or ordering eyes for both Faceups for both and color matching the head of my girl to her body style wigs for both and making a basic outfit for each (I have designs for formal ones but they can come later) Bonus: make a bag to bring them to the con in (I need to come up with the pattern first, which means math ><) Finish customizing the two boys I've been working on for probably 2 years now (eek!) This includes color matching the ear mods on one faceups for each making their clothes styling their wigs The only doll buying plans i have (not counting crafting materials or like..shoes) is to get a body for an off topic head for a different dnd character i have on order, which will also be my first (and only it seems) 1/4 scale doll (everyone else is 1/3+). There are a couple other characters I'd like a doll of (my Rook from Dragon Age 4 mostly) but I might just dig out one of my hoard of fashion dolls for that, or wait and see until near the end of 2025, since we're hoping to buy a house in the first half.
I am trying to keep new dolls to a minimum and sell more to try and keep in balance. Sadly I have a lot with sentimental value which doesn't help. I am constantly in need of clothes/wigs/shoes/etc. I also splurged on a Volks FCS that won't be here until April! I keep saying just ONE more doll LOL! But my buying has slowed A LOT so I'm pleased with that.
2025 will be a 'focus on my current project' year and I've already done all buy and sell through 2024 so : no buying new doll no selling doll too I will mainly work on my current doll photograph project (And try to finish them) Doing some sewing/knitting for my doll Maybe take a faceup class if Volks open one, already prepare the practice head. Waiting for my favorite dress maker to open their store/pre-order and buy those I've my eyes on since last year. Edit : Ah.. Yes, and I have to continue my doll storage re-organize. I was almost finish at some point of 2024 But then the stuff increase and now I need to redo again And that's it for 2025 !
2024 was not a great year for me; due to several big, stressful and expensive life events i had very little time or energy to put into my dolls or any of my other creative hobbies, and even less money to spend on any of it. really hoping 2025 will be better all the way around! ideally in 2025, i just want to have fun with my hobby again! the majority of my dolls are finished at least to the point of being in a displayable state; i'd like to do a couple small things here and there to spruce up and refresh those ones, and make them some new clothes i have ideas for. then i have one girl who's about half finished, and a hybrid girl that i have all the parts for but just need to do a bit of modding to and assemble. i'd like to finish both of them... and i have one beat up old project body that i'm in the middle of modding and repairing-- i'd love to finish that project and work some more on sculpting a head for her, as well as sculpting my own head for a Resinsoul body i got just for that purpose back in 2023. as for buying-- assuming that everything goes well and i continue to recover financially from the disaster year that was 2024, i really only want to buy two bodies for my last two floating heads. and a hand replacement for the girl who broke 2 of her fingers completely off this year. (she's my oldest doll AND the first case of broken fingers i've ever had!) i don't want to add anybody else this year-- i have enough dolls to finish to keep me plenty busy and realistically i probably won't have time to finish all of that! plus i have all the characters i really wanted to make now, my display shelf is pretty much full, and i have so many ideas for sewing and crafting for the ones that are already here. hopefully i will get to do a lot of this-- good hobby luck to me and everyone else in this thread in 2025
2025 doll goals Work on current dolls, buying them things they need, like more clothes and shoes. I want to try my hand at face ups too. Complete all layaway. 2 dolls in layaway right now. Begin sewing doll clothes.
It’s never too early to plan! I’ve done better than expected with my 2024 goals once I decided to fit everyone in my Free Lands world, rather than treat them as actors. It’s focused my efforts and increased my doll play & crafting. For 2025, I will keep it simple: Complete 15 characters (outfit, mood board, character history, personality and Doll Profile) Review & update the next story chapter Some knitwear, if my hands are up for it
Ooo love these talking about doll plans threads! For 2025 I want to: Keep buying fewer dolls. I was lucky enough to get some sculpts that I had my eye on since I started this hobby and the difference between my ongoing interest in those dolls and the dolls I purchased just because they were "close enough" is big. Buy or make shoes part 2. I did an order of mostly shoes from Alice's collections and it really helped those specific dolls feel "finished" in a way that they hadn't before. Clarify doll ideas for characters; original and artist inspired. Acquire materials and craft faceups, clothes, and wigs for those dolls. Sell some dolls that just don't fit or spark joy anymore. After finding bodies for a bunch of floating heads I noticed that the drive to do something with some of those dolls had disappeared entirely. Re-organize my doll display area and make a place to hang photography backgrounds. Good luck for everybody's doll plans in the next year!
I've got a lot of plans, hopefully not too ambitious. First and foremost, organize my room so my dolls finally have an area to just live in peace. Side goal to this one is to try to find some furniture my dolls can sit on/lay on. Find a body for a custom Dollfie head I had made. No floating heads in 2025!! Design a custom outfit for my Dollfie and possibly make it myself (if I fail miserably, next step is to find someone more talented than me to do it). Expand wardrobe for my Luts Senior Delf. I'm probably just going to buy some because I'm too impatient. Buy a new wig for my Ringdoll and style it myself. Also change the eyes to new color. Paint a tattoo on one of my dolls. Figure out how to get an earring on my doll without piercing the ear. I would really like to buy a male Smartdoll in 2025 because I heard the new model may get released next spring/summer. Not sure if it's true, but if it is, I will be in line to buy one. Get my first female doll (I only have males at the moment) Though, I'm willing to put this one on hold if too many setbacks in other goals. Attend a doll meet up! I've never been to one before.
This is a good way to plan and later to look back to see how much of the plans were actually fulfilled. The road to hell is paved with good intentions as they say. Anyway: right now I have 2 dolls total, without faceups or body blush, plan to do those myself. Make their wigs. They have some clothes and shoes but need more, I have fabric and some baby clothes that I will repurpose for casual everyday wear. I started an ambitious project making a Versailles style dress for the lady and thinking of a matching outfit for the gentleman. And I have a head without a body, will need one. Haven’t decided which body I want for him. To accomplish all this I need to finish setting up my workshop. That means I have to put a few things into the attic. To do that I need light in the attic. Etc. one thing pulls up the next. Right now the place is slowly getting in shape, I have 2 desks in there, one for computer, one for sewing machine, a wardrobe, a little cupboard style room is filled with different tools. Some shelves for materials. Looking good. I hope I can start working in there before New Year.
I think my plans for 2025 will be . Actually give faceups to the various dolls that are currently blank . Cut down the number of dolls I have and refine my collection (that’s the one I voted for) as there’s a few I’m just not bonding with at all. . Learn to sew and make wigs . Try not to buy any more dolls unless absolutely necessary. This would be a body for a floating head, something that epitomises a grail idea or Fairyland rerelease Realfee Pano and/or make Obi in Realfee size! . Lastly I plan to make little detail sheets for each of my dolls with all necessary information at hand I think that’s about it.
I have quite a few dolls that just need face ups, so since no skills will task that to my daughter in law, Redmaiko. But I do have a couple that need homes, need to not add more as room getting snug, as well as need to decide what props and furniture items need to go as I prefer photos outdoors with dolls and so do I really need all these bits and pieces to make fake outdoor photos? Maybe not.
What doll are you looking for? I have the same issue as far as too many! as well as too much doll stuff in general that I am hoping to sell some.
:Editing because it's still 2024 so I am letting myself change things up >:] : Buy new dolls/ heads / bodies -> Mostly looking for an El, but may allow myself 1 other 'temptation' doll (like Peakswood haha) Sell some dolls -> I have 1 full doll and a couple heads / body that I'd love to sell Do at least 2-3 faceups on existing dolls Buy or ensure that all of my existing dolls have at least one character specific outfit Attend a BJD con and acquire some goodies there! Really looking to replace my group's eyes with resin eyes I'm very easygoing about the hobby though. Other than attending the con, I'd be fine if I accomplish none of these goals. The hobby brings me a lot of joy no matter what; while I don't need the stress of failure weighing on me, it would be nice to knock some of these out over the next year
Tw: obvious depression Spoiler: Nevertheless, 2025 goals I kind of assume my 2025 will continue in the way of the end of 2024, if it doesn't perhaps it will be a pleasant surprise. My negative feelings about the hobby overall have far overwhelmed the positive. I have a hard time imagining I will be involved much with my own dolls or the community. I'd like to say I plan to sell more as I leave the hobby, but nothing sells, and that just makes me feel worse. The most positive thing I can say is that I will hope I can maybe salvage any remaining good relationship with the hobby I had loved for over a decade. I don't see myself buying anything at all. It would be nice just to keep some of my independent activities, take occasional portraits I like, maybe take a doll to the park, and have what I need to sew again so I can enjoy that aspect. I think about how much I want to sew a lot, and I know I would enjoy that as always, but then I just feel sad again for not having the time or resources, needing a new sewing machine. My biggest goal for 2025 is if nothing better, not do anything I regret too much in the end. I've already sold many dolls that made me so sad I'm kind of numb to it now. I feel like I can imagine if I make a long move again just leaving them all behind because it's getting hard to care anymore. I just hope whatever happens works out for the best.
A few things: ● Commission face-up + hands blushing for my R. Hyperon ● Potentially commission color correction dye and new face-up for my Luts Salgoo. ● Learn to re-string so I can re-string (+ suede) my R. Hyperon as well as my older dolls. ● Expand wardrobe for my Souldoll Seo Jeong-U and Soom R. Hyperon. ● Purchase a new closed door glass display shelf OR clear up my bookcase to be used for display. ○ Buy BJD stands ● Take more photos! ● Create a few doll profiles! ● Maybe sell my Migidoll Cho. Still thinking about this one. ● Maybe purchase one doll. Not sure which character I want yet or if I have the space! Primarily, I will be focusing on my current collection. Good luck to everyone in 2025, may you achieve your goals!
Plans for 2025, it all should be doable. (1) The only major resin I want to buy this year is the body for the floating head. After I receive it, I want to have a time-out from buying and waiting for new dolls for at least 4 months, preferably longer (preferably indefinitely). Buying option parts for the crew is allowed. (Mar) I find myself waiting for no resin. I'm waiting for some doll body releases so I'm holding off on completing the floating head ... who knows when those parts will be available. Maybe I can start counting my time-out from now? (Jun) Well, I bought a pet BJD - only had a no-buy rest for 3 months. But I also bought the body for my floating head. (Oct) Ended up with another floating head to body, and two pet dolls on preorder. The new dolls have gotta end soon, right...? (2) Complete the two dolls (1 full doll, 1 floating head) I bought in 2024 and integrate them into the crew. By 'complete' I mean that I can already recognize them as my OCs. (Mar) The 1 full doll has arrived, and I can already see her as Zhara. I'd like to get her a certain wig, but she's basically done! Moving to goal (3) to get her wardrobe. (Oct) The floating head has a body - Finch is also pretty much done with basics. (Dec) Ruach, the third human doll, is also up and going, although he needs his forever wig and clothes to call his own. (3) Acquire all the themed outfits I need for the newer dolls - kimono, modern suit, and set of casual clothes. I plan to sew all kimono and most of casual, and will buy things if that works better. (Mar) In progress with ordering things and sewing clothes for Zhara. (Jun - Oct) Still haven't sewed kimono for the dolls who need them... (Dec) Finally made a start, and will sew into 2026. (4) Sew new doll covers (sleeping bags) and a new carrier. I have all the materials already and it shouldn't be too hard to do, but it's a new thing for me to learn - just gotta sit down and focus on it. Kinda high priority, because I have big dolls now and they barely fit into my existing carrier. (Jan) Finished making the sleeping bags. Carrier next. (Jun - Oct) No action on the carrier yet. (5) Doll cosplay (1st priority): it's time I did that Star Wars Jedi cosplay that's been in my mind before I went on my long BJD hiatus! I already have an in-scale lightsabre! I'm sure my local doll friends will do another Halloween meetup like they did in 2024, so have a Jedi costume made by then. (Jun) No action on this cosplay yet - better get onto it! (Oct) Welp, I'm not going to make it in time for Halloween. Maybe I can get a head start for next year... (6) Doll cosplay (2nd priority, it's OK if I don't get to it): Severian (book character) cosplay. The doll is here, and I might have some clothes and the shoes already. I'll have to do a bit of sewing, and then figure out a way to make or 3d print a mask and a sword - the bigger challenge. (Oct) This isn't going to happen this year. Other general goals: keep on refining my crew - I want to get new eyes and wigs for some of them. Getting new eyes for a couple dolls; thinking of new eyes for a third. Otherwise, everyone's pretty set. Keep on sewing and learning new patterns - get more familiar with pants and button-down shirt patterns, start learning how to make lined clothing and outerwear. Learn how to use things like closures, velcro, zips, elastic in my sewing. I used velcro for the first time to sew the doll sleeping bags. Furniture/props: I want to source a folding screen with slats, and maybe another large piece of doll furniture. But I expect to be moving house in 2025, so might hold off on this until I'm sure of my housing situation. Got a doll chair, which is welcome. Maybe I'll get a second one... Keep on doing what I love in this hobby: pose dolls, take pics, tell stories. I especially want to do more wuxia & flight types of photoshoots, and continue taking outdoor pics. Always in progress. Hoping to tackle flight photos in May/June. (Oct) Flight photos were indeed done. Now thinking about how to tell more story.
My general goal of finishing the dolls I have remains the biggest, but I have a pretty clear idea of what I want to do in the coming year. Find and purchase the remaining bodies I need for all floating heads Catch up on faceups for friends as well as for my own dolls (executive dysfunction be like) Go through each doll in order of acquisition and do general maintenance (restringing, cleaning, etc.) Try to photograph and do something for dolls on their arrival anniversary! NO. MORE. NEW. DOLLS. (this is the most important xD No new heads or full dolls. Only bodies for heads I already have.) Do that one photostory I've had planned since 2015 so my characters can move on. Write more about my dolls' characters and stories. I have so much in my head I'd like to write down finally. Once all my dolls are completed, or completed enough, I really want to do a deep analysis and see who I still want to keep and who can move out and move on. I know I will regret selling a doll before I finish them, because what if my feelings change once they're all done up how I originally envisioned? So it's a waiting game. I do what I can when I can.
My list changes every year, usually by the end of January, but my current plans: -Get Esmeralda home and paint her -Get Ida & Ivy home and paint them -Find a head for a body I have coming for Christmas -Get more clothes, shoes and accessories (especially for Vayne, Alicia, Nina, Esmeralda, Ivy & Ida...deciding exactly what I want will be the hard part.) -Get better at making clothing, especially suits/jackets. -Shell Geno -Possibly add some more Nothing Sapiens creatures to my crew if I manage to have the money for the preorder -Possibly shell Misty, Mindy or Shana (RP side characters with potential to have their own stories)
2025 needs to be an organization year. -for new dolls? There's one or two I'm looking forward to, but I'm limiting myself to SD dolls only. Yes more expensive, but it requires more thought into what I buy. Aesthetically I prefer SD and Everytime I buy an msd its always "ooo, neat" with zero plans. -work on wigs; I've been buying wigs but I've just been so upset with how they look nice in photos but just so weird in person. It's doable and what's wrong with being productive. I might try making those lace wigs because as pretty as they are, they ones you purchased always use such light colored lace, it becomes distracting on darker resins... -sewing. I got a machine been intimidated by it. Need to stop being a coward and make some shorts (look at nude msd) -so. Much..body..blushing. I love it. I think it looks so good..if I can't body blush a doll, I don't need to be getting a doll. I have plenty of work, so while I'm not buying going "no buy dolls," I should not be adding new boys till I finish at least 3 dolls. -take photos. I have like, one doll profile. Having to actually sit down and make on as like a requirement before I add more and having to take photos to build better back stories will slow me down too. Its another skill to do. -take video. I feel you tube bjd is so sparse. I wanna do videos because they'll encourage others and I might get people to make videos after seeing my lame self is bold enough despite being bad at it (because I'll be brand new at the skill) to encourage more talented folks -learn blender. I want muscle bound orc doll and I might learn to make my own by the time miss orc shows up on the market board tbh. I'm still going on about being the change you want to see in the world, lol. I guess it's mostly strategies to slow down purchasing dopamine with accomplishing dopamine.
1. No more new dolls except the two that I have a WTB out for. 2. No more buying new wigs or clothes - I want to create my own instead. 3. Redo a ton of faceups and get better at doing them. 4. Knit/crochet/sew outfits for my micros (two DHS Poccas and three CCC creatures). 5. Create outfits for my four DC girls (two Hillarys, Letitia and Carol). 6. Do a bit more culling of clothing, shoes and wigs I no longer want to use. 7. Do a complete faceup/body blush for my new DV Bor. I have a feeling I'm going to fail at no. 1 (on both counts: I probably won't find the two dolls I'm looking for, and I'll probably end up buying something else). I also don't think no. 2 is actually feasible, but I'm going to give it a try. I really hope I can make some decent outfits for all of the dolls that still need clothes/shoes, but I really do want to make my own.
1. Do more faceups on my dolls by the time all my preorders come in I will own 17 doll heads only 5 of which currently have faceups. I’m hoping to get some practice in as my first two faceups were very amateurish. 2. A limit of only two new dolls next year. I don’t want to have a complete no new purchases as that feels a bit restrictive and I want to allow myself to jump on a sale of a new Dream Valley doll I love or a limited artist head. 3. Get into sewing. I’m now living somewhere with access to a sewing machine and I’d like to make my dolls some clothes. They’re probably all feeling a little cold. 4. Do some doll knitting. I’ve been doing a lot of human sized knitting - in the process of making myself some socks and I’d love to make some garments for my girls. Probably going to start with beanies with my pace of project completion by the time southern hemisphere winter comes around they’ll have hats to protect their heads. My goal is mainly to switch from a buying focus into a crafting focus. I didn’t have a lot of space to craft until recently and it’s one of the main reasons I got into this hobby.
1. Get doll eyes and style wigs - I ordered doll zone xiao chu and and the telesthesia and dragon 51cm version of xun jian and they’ll arrive in 2025 and need their head things done 2. Finish tailoring my existing doll clothes 3. Make more doll clothes - I bought a bunch of fabric already, I just need to decide on what to make. I want to make a Lolita coord but I’m not sure what else. 4. Make msd sized furniture - I think I want a plush chair and one of those one armed sofas. I don’t have a ton of space to store doll furniture though.
Last year mostly went ok! This year: Done for now - Bodies for Chloe and Taolu Chloe's body arrived/works Taolu's arrived, it isn't quite spot on but with all the things going on in the world it isn't worth changing, either. Done for now - Get faceups sorted Taolu, Corne, Naomi, Shirley sent Done! - Get hands blushed on larger dolls Got all SDs sorted, don't think I'm going to get the tinies done Done! - Sell stuff - SD body, large dress, Myou doll Done! - Finish layaway on last planned doll for my collection Done for now - Figure out the clothes situation better/get rid of things I'm not likely to use ever
Welp since I balled out on bjds this Black Friday (5) I need to work on accessories/clothes in 2025. - wigs size 5-6, 6-7, 8-9 - eyes various sizes want to try Mako and Oscar doll because they are so beautiful - clothes predominantly 1/4 scale, Blythe, 1/3 scale, and yoSD - shoes same as clothes requirement - faceups (have 2 blank dolls) - discover and save for a new host of brands I love - start attending doll shows/meets again (buy/sell/trade)
2025 will bring many changes to my life and since I have no idea if everything will settle smoothly, I need to limit myself when it comes to BJDs and the hobby in general. So... Resin purchases: My floating heads need bodies. These will take priority, but I might still have to sit 2025 out entirely. My dolls: Work on my three girls. Get / make new wigs / eyes / clothes (whatever each one needs) for them. Crafting skills: Learn how to knit for real this time. Get better at sewing. Try my hands at wig making. Bad habits: Stop with the impulse purchases. Doll maintenance: Read the DoA threads and get a little more comfortable with the idea of restringing / cleaning my dolls. Generally: Stop being so fearful of handling my BJDs. My girls still need names, but I avoid touching them or taking them out. It needs to change.
2025 will definitely be a continuation of what I started with my dolls the previous years! In 2023 I really wanted to dive into the hobby fully, and I had more time to allow for that then. But, I graduated and began working full-time, so 2024 taught me to lower my expectations and take things easy. I didn't make as much progress as I would've liked with my projects, and experienced some setbacks, but it's okay! I voted to work on my current dolls, craft/purchase for them, but also to buy more dolls... possibly. I have four dolls so far, and none of them are really at a stage that I would consider to be "complete". One is an OC doll, while the others are based on video game characters. Bringing them all closer to completion will be my main priority just like this past year~ The following is more of a wishlist of what I'd like to accomplish but I won't put pressure on myself to do so: Kairi -OC (Dollmore Misia/Xaga Doll Hybrid) ○ Elf ear mods ○ Sleeping face mod ○ Dye Kiryu -Yakuza/LaD (Dollshe Neo) ○ Finish his tattoo! ○ Make grey wig ○ Do some sueding and joint modifications Majima -Yakuza/LaD (Dollshe Saint) ○ Finish his faceup that I started this year ○ Craft his new pirate outfit. If anything gets done next year, it has to be this! Alphinaud -FF14 (Dollmore Chris) ○ Remake his wig ○ Elf ear mods All of them also need more clothes and shoes I expect I'll be buying a lot more than trying to craft everything. As for buying new dolls... that isn't really a for-sure goal, but more of a my Yakuza/LaD-brainrot-cough-obsession has led me to wanting to shell two more characters I adore I don't even know if I can find sculpts for them in fashion size, but I'll definitely be keeping a lookout! They'll likely be hybrid dolls as well. I had such a fun time building Kai'ri that I'm looking forward to building more potential hybrids!
I went WAY to crazy buying dolls this year, so next year I'm really cutting back next year. I had roughly 5 come in this year 1- If I do get another doll(s) this year, it will just be a body for a Peaks Woods Lemon head and a Do Dolls Dream. I'm really trying to focus my collection only dolls from those artists/creators. 2- I have a couple of dolls I plan to sell soon. They don't fit the direction of my collection anymore. 3- I need to finish my current dolls. I have 6 who need faceups, a body to dye, and some who still need eyes, wigs, and clothes. 4- I want to give wig making and sewing another try. A couple of years ago, I did it all the time, but I kinda went through a rough patch and I'm feeling much more motivated again. 5- I'd like to get more involved with the hobby. I went to my first convention this year, and now I'm thinking about making it a yearly trip! I also want to make more dolly friends and maybe go to some meetups!
2025 is the year where I want to focus on refining my collection and to have some fun So i need to… - Get and finish my two SD ladies (i’ve already waiting for them) - Figure out what to do with grail head that i’ve surprizingly got. Develop a new character for this guy. - No new dolls after that, but maybe new body for one of existing. - Sold 1-2 floating heads would be great. - Sold all unused billion of eyes and other stuff - Take some meaningful photos. More photos!
such a fun thread ^_^ i made too many purchases this year lol but i love my current crew so it all worked out ok. in 2025 my more solid goals are: no new dolls!! invest in more clothes figure out eyes and wig for my birdcube head try to work on taking photos and using my doll instagram. (: go to more meetups! maybes: make some furniture? work on face-ups? ...learn to crochet for hats.. sweaters.. cardigans?
My 2024 goals didnt work out so well... Hope 2025 will be my year! • Fix up my grail when he arrives, needs some work which will keep me busy and off the marketplace for a while (I hope..) • Get much better with impulse purchases, unless its a good deal on a grail or a big 'want' doll Id like to sit on it abit before I pull the trigger • Get bodies for floating heads. • Hopefully get all my dolls correct faceups, wigs, and outfits. - Hopefully if I can Id like to refine my collection even more, but I love them all so we will see how that goes
there's a lot i need to figure out for my dolls, so setting specific & realistic goals is going to be really important to me actually getting things done haha. i would like to: * complete the face-up of at least 1 doll (50/50 on if my other boys will be sent out to a face-up artist) * design & sew 1 complete outfit * get a body for at least 1 of the 3 floating heads * find suitable wigs & eyes for everyone * successfully 3d print a couple of busts for the other heads (this is already a struggle in-progress...) * set up doll profiles
I definitely want to prioritize my existing dolls in 2025, my maximum for new dolls is 2-3 for the whole year~ I really hope new releases don't attack my tastes too violently My goals so far: Sew basic pieces (stretch dresses, socks, I'd like to attempt a hoodie and kigurumi in a few different scales) Sew two separate clown outfits (one a standard one piece jumpsuit, the other a lolita inspired coord) Crochet some tops and dresses Begin doing my own faceups (respirator and pastels need to be acquired) Purchase a full outfit for one doll and some special pieces for another boy coming in Continue the shell hunt for my twin vampire characters Look out for an extra Romance Yul head for the possibility of an alternate appearance for one of my boys Develop profiles for my on-topic dolls As for the dolls I want to purchase, I already have my eyes on both a B-el and L-bi, i would love to make them a couple (one scene/emo style and one cute pastel) but again, I'm prioritizing my existing dolls for a while!
i definitely want to buy new dolls and also sell my old ones. i've had my old ones for several years, and i just don't have a connection to them anymore. i would like to get a doll leaves lan thinking that i'll get her in white skin, and dye her blue maybe dye and hunt down a very curly wig for her sell off both my resinsoul ya and resinsoul yu get more into photography with my dolls be more involved in the community those are my main goals, i hope that its reasonable? fortunately i've been having a lot of new beginnings in the past year, so i'm excited to sort of start over with this hobby!
In 2025 I plan to catalog all my dolls and doll-related items Sell off items that I no longer like/want/need Put together my display case Get faceups for my faceless dolls I would also like to make changeable backgrounds for my display case so, at the very least, I can change their background every season. There's a bunch of stuff we have to start doing around our house to renovate/update (floors, kitchen, bathrooms to start) so I'm not sure what I'll actually be able to do as far as putting my dolls on display, but we'll see.
I think this year I want to work getting through my blank heads and getting them all painted. I also really want to turn the basement into a display/craft space, but there's roommate stuff that has to work itself out first so I probably won't be able to start moving things around until March. In the meantime, I'll just stare wistfully as display furniture at ikea and hunt for appropriate stands.
Next year I plan to work on the dolls I have at home. Make them more clothes, buy shoes (and finally start making shoes too, there's basically no 1/5 shoes for sale) redo some faceups, finish blushing all the spare hands, make everyone some better eyes... A lot to do I'm also going to start working on a roombox/diorama, since now that we've moved there's finally space to do so! I don't have any plans to buy or sell next year, but I'll keep an eye out for my grails second hand and any new 1/5 sculpts- just in case
Buy more shoes for my dolls (and try to make a few) Paint new face ups, using MSC Learn to sew complex lined items, including bagged (jacket) linings and panelled items like gored skirts Maybe indulge in some new wigs and eyes!
