40–49cm Dolls (Doll nudity) Bobobie/Resinsoul Mei in dark tan

I was asking a little while ago about BBB/RS's Dark Tan resin colour, and that's because Denverdoll Emporium had a couple of Meis in stock in that resin! I'm grateful for the sample photos folks shared with me, but I still wasn't entirely sure what to expect, so I was completely blown away by how beautiful she was when she arrived.

Note that she didn't arrive in the box like this! (for first time buyers); I'd already removed her from her included carrying bag, and snipped away the packing foam protecting her hands.

She has a couple of odd chalky patches, one on her scalp and one at the corner of her mouth (you can kinda see it here), but it legitimately doesn't bother me at all. I can understand why Mei is a popular doll! I love holding her, and even as a newbie, I think she must be strung pretty well, because she can stand up no problem, and she poses nicely.

Her name is going to be Casca! She's still lovely even without hair, but I've ordered a couple of short, dark wigs for her.

“Milk chocolate” was the descriptor Koma used, and that seems accurate? I’d say my Mei pretty close to the Flickr photos that were shared in that thread, now that I’m looking again—but I agree, it’s kinda difficult to tell from photos (and I am definitely not a great candid photographer with my iPhone, even though I was shooting in sunlight ).

Agreed! I appreciate having a point of reference before buying, so I’m glad I can contribute to that.

Oh I love that!! A good name all around. Mine is named after the character from the manga Berserk, since I’ve been reading it for the first time.
