Wait Times Doll Market - waited for a dollzone outfit for 2 months??

I ordered the raphael fullset outfit from doll market at the beginning of March.

When I ordered they had a problem with my credit card so after a million emails that was sorted out.

I realized about a month later that I never got any sort of official confirmation email on my order other than the "ok your credit card went through this time"

So I called them to check on my order. They said that yes my order was confirmed and my order with dollzone was placed the day I paid, but that they don't know when it's coming in.

It's now two months any they still don't know, and that I should hurry up and wait because they're shipments from dollzone are "few and far between" but that they've gotten a few recently and my shipment wasn't in it.

It's just bothering me that it's just an outfit and it's taking this long...
I realize they do batch orders with dolls, but something just doesn't feel right >_<

I'm not comfortable at all with this transaction, the staff has been extremely off putting and seemingly absent minded (from my phone conversations with them as they try and look up my order), and now I'm worrying myself to death.


has anyone ordered an outfit before? even if it's through another dealer? how long was your wait? I was flipping through the company feedback and A) doll market doesn't seem to have a thread, and B) doesn't seem that many people order outfits that aren't in stock ^^; but if you have, please let me know how your transaction went!

 

*nod* I can check with dollzone, wasn't sure if they'd know or not since it's just a random outfit order, but I'll try

and I wasn't really sure if they do batch ordering or not, that was my impression till they told me they ordered my outfit the same day I placed it, so now I'm not so sure? unless I just some how timed it perfectly.

ETA: I also just dug through my email and realized that I sent Doll Market an email 2 weeks ago asking about my order and they told me they would find out and get back to me soon. Of course I never heard back. *shakes head* They're building themselves an invitation for a nasty-gram from me.

 

o_0 I'm confused. I'm not saying I expect them to ship just my order.
They order in batches is what they told me, and they placed the full order the day I ordered my outfit.
but for two months and not knowing anything? on top of not confirming my order with me and not responding to emails? That irks me.

They emailed me back very quickly after I sent them a short stern email that I wanted to know what was going on, and that they were quickly losing my buisness.
Now they're telling me they'll have it in the next 3 weeks. Hmm... guess they do know the status after all.

I ordered my doll through junkyspot, and a wig through DDE XD
I just tried to give doll market a chance because they are a local business. They've also been pretty good in person at their store in Greensboro, NC. They try to sell me stuff that I don't want, but I think that's pretty normal for store with a small client list. I've gone shopping at their physical store many times and never had a problem aside from them giving me broken merchandise, but they took it back the second I pointed it out.
They have no feedback thread here on DoA, so after I do finally get my outfit, I plan to start their thread, unfortunately with a relatively poor rating for their carelessness :/
