I got a tan skinned Anona and she is very cute. I love her. I had to restring her after I got her because the elastic she came with wasn't very... stretchy? So even after I tightened it, she was still floppy. She's great now though.

Okay, so I ordered my Lenon on the 22nd of april. After primary communication (what wig i want, skin color, etc) He hasn't talked to me since. No communication since April 28th... I know I'm probably just being anxious, but... This is normal, right?? I ordered him from liwenjie0310 . :P :/

 

Have you sent anything to him that he would need to respond to? That's the seller I ordered from last year and my Alice arrived a month after I paid, as promised. He even sent me a replacement hand when her's arrived broken. I don't remember any communication other than responses to e-mails I sent him (which he always replied to within a few days).

 

yes HaloNoir is right If you don't sent him some questions he doesn't write to you. But don't hesitate to ask to him, I juste received my dolllove brian from him and he always answer to my questions^^

My sister and I both have Anona's and I love mine to pieces. Ours were strung pretty tightly when we got them and they still are. Say, if you want her to stand, she ends up wanting to do a split. Soon after I got mine, I accidently slammed her head into my closet door and her leg snapped out and kicked me! My finger was in the joint too so it got pinched. Revenge?

Their resin is pretty tough for being such a cheapish? doll. I'm a klutz and am always abusing mine yet the only imperfections on her is a little chip missing out of her nose which you can't see unless you're looking for it. But, she's holding up nicely to all my rough handling.

I like how her body looks too. She has big shoulders but she's very proportionate unlike my Dream of Doll Homme Kirril who has a big body and tiny head. Mine is nice and sturdy though and bends nicely. I love how jointed she is and she's my first bjd. ^-^ And their pink skin is almost a perfect match to Dika Doll's pink skin if you want to get jointed hands.

Here's my pink skinned Anona with no wig so you can kind of see the default face-up and some of Doll-Loves purple eyes. It's like..brownish and there are sparklies around the eyes too! ^-^ Her eyelashes have since fallen off because their glue isn't the greatest and I didn't feel like putting them back on. =X

He is a rock solid poser, and is even easier to pose than my Elis (AOD Rao), which is saying something, considering that she is already extremely easy to pose. He is very nice and solid, has a good weight to him. All in all, i'm pleased! ^^

Has anyone made a Hybrid doll from an Anona head? I feel like a Bluefairy girl body would work well with her.

 

Hey guys, I have a quick question! I do hope it's okay to ask this here.

I'm really interested in getting Word-Leaf (he's so cute! :3), but does Doll-Love offer a layaway option? I couldn't find anything about that on their website, and I figured I'd ask here before I go bothering them with emails. lol. Also, I don't actually care for the face-up he has in the pictures on the website, but I LOVE how he looks in the photos on eBay (from the liwenjie0310/Milky Queen Castel shop). I'm guessing it would be possible to ask them to do the eBay picture face-up version, instead of the one on the site??

Okay, so, I ended up emailing Doll-Love and I never got a response. I also sent a message to liwenjie0310/Milky Queen Castel on eBay, and never got a response there either. I will admit, I'm slightly paranoid to order from them now, which kind of sucks because I really want Word-Leaf.

In an attempt to stay on-topic (rofl), what size eyes do the Doll-Love MSD boys take? I'm not a fan of super huge eyes, so perhaps 12-14?

 

@orangemonkey5: Doll-Love has really good quality, the feel of the resin is very solid. He is slightly heavier than my AOD girl, Elis.
@mekkisry: Albel takes 16 mms actually, the 14 look a little small in him. As for liwenjie, I'm sure that a few people here have ordered from her here. I'm not one of them though, so I cannot help you there. I could try helping you communicate with their chinese rep, but I'm not sure if she can help you there... But relax, Doll-love is a perfectly legit and good company ^^

Sorry if it is.

So I have a DollLove Ke and I'm not entirely sure what eyes properly fit her but right now she's wearing ones that came with her. They look bigger than the 14mm eyes a bought for her, and I was wondering, can I buy her 16mm eyes?

I think it may be okay because the eyes that came with her seem bigger than 14mm one but I'm not sure. It 2mm really a big difference? Thank you.

Usually 2mm is not a big difference. Some dolls do have very small eyewells, but if it looks like there's room in there, 16mm should work fine.

Generally, smaller eyes have a smaller iris, which looks more realistic, natural, and grown-up. Larger irisis make a doll look younger, or less realistic, and are good for non-human characters or an anime look.

 

I do like how the "brown skin" looks at user photos.

I have 2 1/3 dolls from Doll-Love. I bought both in liwenjie0310 'shop and I can only recommend trading with her.

I don't have Minis yet but I hope I will be able to get some soon. My absolutely favorite is Lincy. ^^

I've got an Anona! And she usually wears her medium-dark brown wig. Lemme see if I can find a pic or two...


I think I tweaked the saturation a bit in that one, but it's close. *looks at picture again* I LIED THAT'S WAY OFF. >.>
She's a normal pink skin, and I got her with Alice's faceup. Sadly, her eyelashes fell off. D:
She came with those lovely glittery green eyes (which are extreeemely high dome!).

I see that a few people have the God-Enjoy head. I'm going to be ordering that head on a boy body in the next few days and want to order his eyes as well. Generally, I use 14mm in my MSD's. Can anybody tell me how that works for this sculpt or post a pic of their God-Enjoy with 14mm eyes. Any help would be appreciated.

A friend of mine got me my first BJD from the ebay seller liwenjie0310/Milky Queen Castel a couple months ago -^^-. She ordered the doll a full set, and I have only had him for about a few weeks ( I have Brian [now renamed Masaru] the 1/3 SD boy, brown skin). When I got him, he was packaged so wonderfully! Pillows and tons of bubble wrap for a safe arrival. Shipping wasn't too long and communication with the seller was pretty wonderful.
Since having Masaru, I've been doing my very first faceups and have completed 4 on him and 2 on another doll xD. I do have his outfit that he's featured in on the ebay sales page, but bought him one that fits the new wanna-be Jrock look that I have given him.
Here I have him cosplaying as the bass player, Reita, from the Gazette. (I'm waiting for the fur wig to com in the mail)


I'm currently saving to get Dollove Alice, as I feel the company has some very wonderful dolls and they are very happy to help their customers -^w^-

hi guys I'm in the process of saving up for my first doll at the moment, and I've absolutely fallen in love with Anona (can't get enough of your gorgeous owner pics ) I've pretty much planned out what her first outfit will be when I get her, and I spotted a DZ 1/4 (msd) wig that is more or less perfect for the image i'm planning for her. So I'm curious whether anyone here has purchased DZ wigs for their Doll-Love dolls, and whether the fit was alright or they needed any adjusting.

I got a surprise in the mail yesterday. Along with my RS Twins, my new Doll-Love boy came home! I didn't even know he'd been sent. He's utterly perfect for the character I knew him to be and he looks great with his partner Tyhlian (OD Tae vampire). Dakvir is a God-Enjoy head on a boy body. Currently he is WS, but he will be dyed black in the very near future. I'm still waiting on his proper eyes (damn you postal strike backlog!) and the poor boy needs the right clothes (which I haven't made yet). But even without a face-up and him not being his proper black yet, I still think he looks amazing and wanted to share.

Hi! I'm getting a Doll-Love Lincy head soon, but I'm buying it via a Chinese website, Taobao since the rates are cheaper. The seller claims to be an agent, so I'm giving him/her the benefit of doubt... however, are there any enblems or wordings on the head/headcap etc to prove authencity on these dolls?

Here's my Doll-Love Snow-Sing, I got her from ebay, the sale was a tad sluggish but she got here eventually.

Note: her face-up was a lot lighter/pinkish compaired to the purple they show in the defult pics, however it is a very lovely face-up with attension to detail, I got lots of compliments about it from Doll-Meets!
Also their White skin is more of a very pale peach (on the creamy side), which is exactly as I wanted!

 

Dak came back from the customizer yesterday and I'm thrilled with how he looks. He's a God-Enjoy head on a boy body and I had him dyed black. I actually really like him without a face-up (although he needs eyelashes) and may actually keep him that way. His eyes are custom rainbow swirls with a pearl sclera by Dreaming Tree Studio.

I've read that people have bought heads only from doll-love, and I also see the pricing for heads only from liwenjie0310, but I can't find where you can actually buy *just* a head. Does one simply have to ask?
