    1. The darkest night brings the brightest dawn. My Doll Leaves Zheng, ordered from Alice's Collection, has finally arrived!

      He was ordered in November, his production was delayed due to Covid, but he was shipped quickly after he was finished. He was only 3 days late from the delivery date, but it was because he was stuck in local mail.

      I have named him Fânpàn, which if Google translate serves me right, means Rebel in Chinese. Given to him in a conversation with my friend after I was complaining of his lateness, I made the quip that if he didn't arrive the next day I would name him something dumb. We also joked that he was late because he stole the mail truck so, there's that too.

      So...that's his name. Feel free to call him by the nickname he hates; Fanny.

    4. Wow! He is amazing! Thank you for sharing. I had looked at the pictures of him on Alice's Collection and thought he would be a cool doll to own, if he was as well done irl as in the sample, and he is! Congratulations! I look forward to seeing him wigged and dressed.

    5. Thanks! I can't wait to make him some delivery outfits and do a fun little photoshoot~ Once I get him a wig and some clothes I'm going to try and insert him into as many threads as possible!

    7. Oh wow! Usually when you see dolls with super elaborate faceups like that in the official pics, the company doesn't offer it or the actual result is much plainer. But his looks exactly the same and just as amazing! :o I hope you enjoy your little rebel; he certainly looks like he's having a good time! :whee:

    16. @LonelyArtist - i guess i stopped getting notices for a bunch of threads including this one, so i missed your unboxing... and i am so thrilled --- he looks so amazing! it is really encouraging that he looks that much like his pictures from DL :celebrate

    17. I've been having that problem too! But, thank you for stopping by~ My heart breaks that you'll have to wait so long, but I promise it'll be worth it! He photographs really well, but I definitely recommend wiring him when you receive him! He definitely needs to "learn" to pose! Haha~
