My dolls are home too. It took 12 weeks from MOC, just in case anyone is wondering. I'm very happy with my Evan and the event Alex.

 

My friend and I are waiting for the doll leaves order. She went through DDE. She's getting Ida and is nice enough to give me Alex for my late b-day gift. *u*

 

Still no update from DDE on the order. :c

 

I have yet to hear about my order as well i went through moc. I wonder if doll leaves fell behind? They are usually quite fast at shipping out dollies and i am getting close to the 2 month mark waiting time (which is still way less than some companies). So fingers crossed we'll get our notices very soon!

 

My friend and I are getting close to waiting about five months now. Hopefully any day soon we hear something on our order.

 

We are also at the 2 month mark Did you also order in the moc group at the end of may? I hope we hear something soon.

 

I'm waiting for doll leaves noir in white skin with default faceup, body tipe 1 and jointed hands.. ordered from acbjd, can't wait to have him at home!!!

They're here! The faceup on the Bella is so small and detailed. It's lovely. Now I'm going out to be a larger s-hook to be able to put a head on the 1/4 boy body. It's far too small!

I ordered a dolls leaves 1/3 girl body on Oct 5th through mint on card and some eyes so I qualified for the Soscia event head with faceup. : D I have her on 6 mo. layaway though so will be a bit of wait for me. xD; I have her as my phone background right now. ^^;

(And to add to the stats: Last year I ordered an Evan through DDE at the end of December 2014 (right before the end of the free head event) and he arrived April 17, 2015. (He shipped on Apr 15))

So yeah, excitement~!

But that makes me wonder if the orders are backed up in general. I ordered my girl on the 4th of October and was wondering how long it usually takes Doll Leaves to complete an order. I'm a little nervous because I'm going away for a good part of December and don't want her showing up while I'm on holiday.

 

Usually DL is a fast company, but it might be because I'm getting a fullset in an odd color.

I ordered a doll leaves MSD body to go with the head I already have on the 1st september. I ordered the body via Angelesque (Doll leaves' UK dealer)) and I've recently got an update saying that the body has been shipped and is on it's way to the dealer! Maybe I'll get him before xmas? Maybe not >_< either way, I'm uber exited!

EDIT: I got him today! (12/21) So I did get him before xmas Super duper pleased with him ^O^

 

I just ordered my doll leaves Alex, hoping to get them before christmas or on christmas to add to the excitment, super excited!

The head is a preorder though, so it'll be a while ;;

I just paid my 2nd payment of 5 for my ns Kira! When I hear the status of the order i might pay him off early if possible, but as far as I know there hasn't been any word since the order was sent in on january 14th.

I'm currently waiting on a Layaway order from Doll Leaves (I'm paying through Mint on Card) for a Pepper head, an Amara head and a full Hedy doll with the boy body. I'm very excited!

However, I do have a question. To take advantage of the sale and to order a doll in tan resin, I've been wanting to order directly through Doll Leaves, and I'm very nervous about it. I emailed them yesterday and still have received no response. I know with many BJD companies, especially right now with the Chinese new year, that a level of patience is required. But I'm very afraid that if they take too long to respond I'm going to miss the sale as it ends at the end of this month. Does anyone here have experience ordering directly through the company or can give me some insight on their communication time? I really just want to ensure that my order goes through.

 

how long is their average wait time anyway? I ordered my Kira in the orders submitted on January 14, and i'm hoping to have him before June.

 

I would say they average about three months, but some seem to have taken toward the longer end of four months, and some just a little over one month. I ordered mine a few days before yours, and they shipped yesterday. However, I ordered mine through AC, and I don't think they order them in batches, so an order through MoC would take a little longer. I would think you would have him before June, as that would be closer to five months, which would be a long wait for them. I hope this helps

 

@chohakkaikun Thank you! I'm in that order as well. My only other DL was 2nd hand, so I didn't know what I was in for.

 

That does help! I plan to pay him off as early as next month, depending on the size of my paycheck, and I want to try and make him a wig and save some money for a nice faceup before June. My grandma is having knee surgery and I thought she might like to teach me to sew doll clothes while she's stuck in bed.

I have ordered my Doll Leaves Jeremy about two weeks ago, on layaway. Hope to pay him off next month I am very excited about getting him home!

Hey everyone! I wanted to pop in again since I'm still waiting for my Doll Leaves crew to show up! At the end of last month I took advantage of the BOGO sale Doll Leaves was having and ordered 2 Connies! I got them both as boys, one in white skin and the other in wheat skin and I'm so excited for them! Since I paid in full I really hope they'll be home sooner rather than later.

For my other three Doll Leaves dolls (Hedy, Pepper and Amara) I just made my 4th payment, only 2 left to go! I asked MoC about any update on them, and they told me my order went with the January 14th order and we're reaching the 10 week mark but still no news. It could take up to 17 weeks more!! Ugh, I really hope not! They'll also be coming with those little Christmas deers (I qualified for two) that I'm so excited to see

 

Oh man, 17 more weeks??? I'm in that same order.

 

Yup, that's what they told me They said Doll Leaves takes anywhere from 8-27 weeks, and anything after that we're entitled to a refund. Since we're only on week 10 we've got quite a bit more waiting to go, though I'm certainly hoping it's a lot sooner than that!

 

I also hope it's sooner!!! I wanna try and have him by May tbh because I want to have him to work on while my gran is recovering from surgery....I figured she could teach me to make doll clothes while she was stuck in bed.

 

Aw, that sounds really sweet and like it'd be a lot of fun! I hope he gets to you by then As much as I want my minis, I'm trying to force myself to be patient since as much as I'd like to have them home, it would also be nice if they didn't arrive until after I moved out to my own place, which won't be for a few more months. But the tinies I want right now!!

Still no word on anybody Does anyone know what the average wait time is for Doll Leaves? I'm still feeling good about waiting for my bigger guys since it was a large order, but I really wish my two tinies would come home! I ordered them 1 month ago from ACBJD but it seems I've still got a wait ahead of me.

 

My Soscia I ordered in October is in at MoC, but they forgot her faceup so working with MoC on that. : D I probably wont see her until the middle of next month. xD

(which is fine, I need to get her things)

 

I only have one layaway payment left on my Kira through MOC, and still no word on him. :/

 

I'd like to know the average wait time too. I have a friend who ordered the same doll as me nearly the same time, but a week prior and she got hers within 2 months. 4 months in, I'm still waiting.

 

I think it really depends where you ordered them from? I ordered directly from their Taobao via a shopping agent on 18th of February and my doll is due home this week. By the sounds of it their actual production times are quick but I'm assuming group orders from these agents will add to those wait times.

That certainly makes sense! I ordered my minis through Mint on Card so I'm prepared to definitely wait a few more weeks. But my tinies were through Alice's Collections, so perhaps they have a quicker turn around rate through there! It's only been a month, so I might wait another week or two before I message them and ask. There are two of them and one of them is in their 'Wheat' skin so it's understandable they might take a bit longer than unusual.

 

Probably! I know the UK dealer only places the order once a month so if I ordered on the 1st April and the cut off was 29th April. That's automatically another month. So here is hoping everyone's dolls turn up soon!

 

I contacted Doll Leaves two weeks ago and they said their waiting time ranged from 1.5 to 2 months - I ordered end of February and they assured me he would be in beginning of May.

 

Wow, then hopefully MOC has the January 14 order already....I've got one payment left.

 

Alice's Collections just mailed me that Jeremy is ready =D I am so excited.

 

That's so exciting!! Congrats! I also ordered through Alice'c Collections at the end of February, maybe that means my two little ones will be on their way home soon too

Edit: So it turns out I have absolutely no patience and I messaged Alice last night in regards to my order. She told me my order would be complete in 20 more days. Poop! Oh well, I suppose I should expect as much for two dolls and one in a special resin color. Guess I'll just keep on comin' on!
