Just got the notification that my boy, Jiuyu, has shipped!! Super excited!!!

 

Oh wow and he was delivered! From waiting a few months to him suddenly being here is kind of surreal. Jiuyu arrived safe with no damage and even came with extra feet and horns! I could not be happier!!

 

Congratulations!! From shipping to arrival was light speed! Where did you place your order from?

 

I went through Alice's Collections. I made the order in December and was a little worried I'd messed up with the Lunar New Year being so close but in the end it felt like a very reasonable wait time.

 

I saw that Doll Family H was discontinuing their 1/5 scale dolls, so I immediately ordered the one on my wishlist. Sounds like the wait isn't too bad, thankfully

I've just ordered a DF-H Xiao Chan from Alice's Collections because I saw that they were discontinuing their 1/5 scale dolls.
The wait begins!

With all the discontinuations DF-H has been doing, I'm excited this means they'll be releasing some new stuff in the near future! I'm still waiting semi-patiently for my 68cm body...it feels like it's been months and months but really it's not even been a full 2 months yet. (with an expected 3 month wait)
I shall be patient! But...

Ordered through Alice a few days ago, so settling in for the wait

 

I was told today my 68cm boy body was received by the dealer and it's ready to ship so I'm waiting for the shipping confirmation any day now. The wait has been a few days over 4 months, so very spot on with the estimate I was given. I hope it arrives quickly

The posing is lovely! The knees are stiff, its strung nicely, and the sculpt is so pretty.

 

My 68cm body arrived today. Wow, I didn't expect it would come in such a humongous carrier bag, I was shocked haha
I was also surprised that despite the difference in batches between my Joydoll Lai head in soom tawny and this body in the same tone there is nearly no difference at all. I did expect more and I'm very pleased it's barely noticeable.
I didn't know either that it was customary for DFH bodies to come wired (?). It of course helps with the posing but I also noticed it can be a bit of a hindrance in terms of engaging the joints, especially the knees.
I hope everyone receives their dolls quickly, I think as of right now their waiting times are very decent.

 

@Gynure Wow your body is wired? That's new. I have a few DF-H bodies and none of mine are wired that I can see.

 

@Cloudedmind It is yeah! I just checked thoroughly because I couldn't the day I received it but it's fully wired, even the torso. The arms are wired to about half the lower arm, and the legs half way to the lower part as well. The wire has a plastic cover at the ends (the S hook at the neck had that cover too but at least mine, as soon as I tried to put the head on, the S pierced the plastic cover so it's a bit useless but oh well).
I thought it might be customary of DFH because recently all the dolls I've received from China are wired. Personally I would prefer this was disclosed somewhere before I do the purchase. It's not that I hate it per se but I feel it's just a matter of transparency especially in terms of posing. I know DFH poses very good anyway so in this case is ok (although it makes you wonder why they have decided to include it), but I've received dolls in the past that if it wasn't for the wire they would pose pretty bad and the advert photos then feel like false advertisement.
In the case of this body specifically, I don't really know if the wire does anything other than being a bit annoying when engaging the joints as I mentioned in previous post.
I can take photos if anyone is interested to see it.

 

I do remember a post about the wiring when they started doing it. They did say you could request that the wiring not be done but perhaps they should make this information more available on the doll listing.

 

What I'm hearing is that I might get free wire when my body comes in. If the body doesn't require it, I will happily take it out and use it on other dolls that do. lol But yes, of the DF-H dolls I have, none are wired and they also pose wonderfully and do not need it. (in my opinion, of course!)

Looking at the waiting list...I'm hoping I'm close to getting my shipping notice~

 

Oh I see, so maybe my fault since I did order through dealer and I didn't check their official listing, maybe it's there. It was not on the dealer's one and this is my first DFH body.

That's a good idea and I might end up doing that eventually as well!

I ordered the slim 68cm girl body from DF-H for my April Story Hannah last week. Guess it's time to get cozy in here.

 

Ordered a 62cm boy body in normal yellow with jointed hands on March 9th through Alice's Collections. Should get the shipping notification any day now!

 

Ordered a DFA 1/4 girl body version 3 in grey skin for my mage kitty on June 23rd. Got a DFH 1/4 muscular boy body version 3 in white skin for my brawler bunny last year and the wait time was about four months, so I think it's going to be similar. Apparently I like version 3 MSD bodies when it comes to Doll Family. XD

 

My DF-H 68cm boy body shipped yesterday and arrived today, much to my surprise! He flew so fast I swear I checked the tracking and it wouldn't even give me an estimated delivery date because it hadn't started moving yet, and then he was just HERE. lol Not complaining but wow! Ordered Feb 21st through AC, arrived July 10th. So..a little over 4 months.

For those curious, he came fully wired with a kip for his neck, cat paws on his hands, and in a spiffy doll bag instead of a box! (there was an outer shipping box, but no DF box inside, just the bag with their logo on it!) He is perfect, if tightly strung, and matches my Switch Hwayeon perfectly!! I'm talking 99-100% resin match. So DF-H normal yellow and Switch powder beige are basically the same color. And the fit is perfect too, but I got to try his head on this exact body thanks to my friend who visited recently so no surprises there.

 

I got the notification that my order was shipped yesterday and is set to arrive by the 24th!

I ordered the 35cm girl body before they stopped selling them, plus 2 extra hands and the heel feet. I received the shipping notice July 20th with an estimated arrival of Wednesday, but I guess she couldn’t wait! FedEx dropped her off this morning! I ordered on March 22.

I was a bit nervous about resin color, I’m putting an older SOOM head on the body… it’s a really good match though! She looks so cute now, I’m a bit sad they discontinued the 35cm size, now that I have one I want more.

 

Just ordered a DFA62cm boy body and jointed hands in “23 soom light tan” which I am hoping will be a good match all round for the Coral Reef / Whale Island Yu Feng head I ordered in “soom light tan.”

 

Alice's Collections have let me know that my Doll Family A body has shipped out as of September 9th! So roughly two and a half months waiting period for anyone who has recently ordered from DF-A!

Just had a email from Alice's collection letting me know that my little DFH Xiao Chan has shipped! Had a 5 month wait for him. Very excited to get him home!

 

My DFH 1/4 tan girl body has shipped! Got the shipping notice from Alice yesterday. I ordered the body back in late April, so five months wait.

 

If you choose to stick with the free air mail, it will take about three weeks from the date it was shipped out. My dear girl's DFA body arrived this morning and I was able to get her put together and dressed before I had to rush off to an appointment. Her stringing was a bit tight but she could stand right out of the box and came with a cute little birth certificate.

 

I just ordered a DF-H 1/3 (58cm) girl body in Soom Light Tan (plus extra hands and feet) last week from Alice's Collections! It's been a while since I was back in the waiting game, but here we are.

 

My tracking for my Xiao Chan has updated to say he's scheduled to be delivered on Monday.
Took him 2 weeks to reach the UK.
Cannot wait to finally have him here!

 

My 1/4 body arrived last night!!! I got it in Luts White, so it fits perfectly with my Acatbo Hakimi head!

 

I was waiting to order the 68cm slim female body until there was a sale, and was able to start a layaway through NCS during their CNY sale late January. I'm so excited! I might be moving before it's ready, but I have let them know and they said they'd contact me before it ships out so I can decide where to have it mailed to.

(As a side note, I'm also waiting for the head for this body, which is a custom faceup through Impldoll. Honestly by the time they are done with it, I probably could have learned to do the faceup myself, but I still hope it will be great! This doll is the sister of another doll I'm working on, so it'll be fun to have them together once they're both done.)

 

I caved and ordered a DFA dimon in light tan on the 75 cm body,no face up

 

I got my DF-H 68cm slim female body today! Turnaround was good and fortunately it arrived just before my move.

I ordered a Dimon,light tan on the 75 cm body.
I emailed acbjd if they had any update since it was around 3 months ago that I ordered Dimon.
Guess what...All of the sudden there was a problem with the 75 cm body and dfa asked if its ok to get Dimon on the 70 cm body
I took a quick look on acbjd and I noticed that they removed the 75 cm body option,which was weird because 3 months ago it was still up on their website.
Acbjd said that if I agreed on the 70 cm body I'll get a partial refund since the 70 cm body is cheaper.
I reluctantly agreed,I love the Dimon head and the 70 body looks good enough.
I still think this is bad customer service,NOT on acbjd part but on the dfa part,this was my first time buying from dfa and it will be the last time,I just hope they will send my Dimon soon

 

My Jian Yue has shipped! He was in the same order as a Doll Leaves body and floating head. The tracking information says the package is in the US so hopefully it will arrive soon.

 

And Jian Yue arrived. It was around a week from ship date to arrival, no extra fees were asked for on delivery, and the box and everything inside was in good condition.

 

That's amazing! I also ordered a Jian Yue. Just the head though.
