Shopping Doll Family H Taobao / Resin Options

    1. Hello!

      I'm interested in ordering from Doll-Family H via proxy as I thought it would be easier to consolidate shipping on some other OT hobby supplies I want to get.

      When it comes to the resin skintone options they have for their bodies, which one is the closest to "mia white?" Would it be just "white" itself?

    2. I'm not sure what 'mia white' is, but I do know their white dolls come very white, almost like the colour white.
      I was shocked at how white the white skin tone was when my doll got here.
      Closer to Loong Soul white with no skin pigmentation rather then Dollzone white that has skin pigmentation.

      Sorry, I realized I have doll family A white doll...

    3. This is a perfect comparison, thank you so much!

      I am interested in an original head from a small artist, but they seem to use other doll's color terms to compare the resin options they offer, kind of like how some places like Clover Singing seem to have listings where a doll's options refer to a resin color like "Soom Normal"-esque. I assume "mia" refers to the colors that the company miadoll uses!

    4. For clarity, mia white and mia pink are resin colours that most Chinese dollmakers offer to make it easier to match heads and bodies from different makers (especially for sculptors who just make heads).

      DF-H definitely has had mia white on offer and, as they are a very popular company for bodies for hybrids, I'm pretty sure they still do. If they don't have it in their taobao listings you can certainly have your proxy ask them about it.

    5. That's great information to know, thank you so much! I noticed "mia white" and "mia powder" (pink(?) mentioned a lot by artists who make just heads, but I don't know what exactly that translates into in the options listed, I'll see if the proxy can ask them about which option matches for my purposes.
