Body Comparison Doll Family H 68cm slim/muscle girl body

    1. Hello! DFH released these two very tall and lean bodies which I understand to be the same outside of the muscle definition on the sculpt. I wonder if anyone can show or at least comment on their posability.
      If possible, a picture next to an SD size (56-60cm) doll would be great.

    2. I have one of these girls and her posing is amazing! She's very stable and locks into pretty much any pose I want her in. I can take more photos if you'd like, but I have a few I've already taken of her posing during her box opening as well as a few comparisons I took after for myself and a friend. :)

    3. @Akai Okami Thank you so much, this is exactly what I was looking for! I assume this is the "muscle" body since it's more toned, but I think there's no difference with the "slim" body besides the sculpt's aesthetics.
      The posing does indeed look great and quite natural. I love the mobility thighs! I am happy to see that she doesn't look as overwhelmingly tall as I expected next to SD size! May I ask you what is the head you have put on this body or what circumference it is, as a reference?

    4. @lutke The head is the Swallowtail head that was released with the body for a limited time. She's got an 8.5cm head.

    5. @Akai Okami Thank you! I wasn't too sure about this body because the promos made me think it would look too thin and leg-heavy, but your doll looks amazing and the proportions are great. It's quite difficult to find pictures of these bodies!
      I have read that DFH had great posing in general. Did this body come wired? I have read in the dedicated thread that DFH now sends their bodies wired.

    6. @lutke My two DF-H dolls came in early 2023 and neither came to me wired. I am also curious if newer ones will come with wire!

    7. I have the muscular, and @Eyezofeden has both (hope you don't mind me tagging you, buddy). The proportions are almost identical, if I recall correctly.
      When this body initially came out, I did not like how it looked in pictures. I thought it was too thin. In person, I LOVE it. It's very graceful and willowy.
      She do have looooong legs, though.
      The posing is phenomenal. She just sticks in place.
      Here's the body (right) next to the 68 cm Miracle Doll muscular female body (left) with Iplehouse Doria's head.

      MD bodies are much bigger and thicker.

      That's a Supia Doll Rosy in white resin head. I like this hybrid a lot. Supia Doll white is almost paper white, whereas DF-H white has a slight pink undertone.

    8. Oh wow @MaleficentMrsofEvil the Miracle Doll body has a lot of muscle! I love the fullset that came with that body.
      I have seen the boots/heels on the taller bodies, but I assume that the DFH body is a bit shorter than 68cm and more along the lines of 65? Dollstown 18yo is 69 if I remember correctly.
      This body all depends on a head that, as it turns out, I might not be able to get in the end... I think a very lean willowy body is definitely what would fit her character best. One thing I really love about this one is the hands! They are very graceful and there are lots of extras.

    9. Oh, I LOVE optional hands. I ordered all of them. I ordered so many, DF-H sent me a bag of s-hooks. They were like, "Thanks, crazy lady. You probably need these." :lol:

    10. So happy to see this thread! I've been thinking about getting the slim version to put my April Story Hannah on, and everyone's photos are helpful. I'm just hoping the DF-H and April Story whites match close enough.

    11. It's been a while! After a lot of conflict between this DF-H and the Dollstown Vision body, I think I'll pick this one for an incoming head. Mostly because I want all those lovely hands and a mobility thigh for this one doll. I want a slim look for her but I need the extra posability as well.

      Does anyone have, by any chance, pictures of the slim version of this body? I prefer the fit one but any extra reference would help.

      I had asked already when I made this thread, but I ask again in case things have changed: do these bodies come wired? If so, is it possible to ask DF-H not to include wiring?
