      Hello everyone!

I ordered head only, from DC directly.
Waiting time is about 6 week tatal. include vacation.

modified it's eyes and philtrum softly.

    3. Thank you!
I hope all your dolls are be home soon!!

      and here's another pic :)

    4. It's miadoll babylamb (dollmore Aga) body.
Actually, skin tone dose not match.
DC's N-yellow skin is more yellow and darker than other doll company's ordinary normal skin.

    5. Aww! That's too bad... I bet DC will happily give you a replacement hand though :3
And how do these little ones pose? I'm guessing just as well as the kid & adults, but I'd like to hear what you have to say~

    6. My little Faust is here! Sadly, he, too, arrived with a finger broken off and no sign of it in any of his packaging so I can't even glue it back on. Hopefully Doll Chateau will make good on these and replace the hands (mine was on the right). But he is absolutely adorable (though I don't have a clue what he is going to be wearing). Here's a "quick and dirty" photo - this is factory face up which I really like on him - but I changed out his eyes and he has on another wig I got for him. His name is Random.

    7. Would you believe that it's exactly the same finger as Merlin? I suppose it's the one that sticks out the most. I guess I was lucky that Lilith was undamaged. Here is a quick photo of my two girls - Merlin doesn't want his photo taken until his hand is better and Hugh is dressed very randomly. I haven't really tried to pose the little ones but their proportions are so odd (they have tiny arms and hands as well as pear-shaped bodies) that I think they're a bit limited.

    8. Your girls are beautiful, Hilarie! These babies definitely have a low center of gravity so Random stands quite well and will hold what pose you put him in. No kickiness at all. I was wondering which hand Merlin had broken. It must be the way that finger sticks out (not that we can see it with it missing!), but, yes, if it wasn't anywhere in the packaging, likely it did happen at the factory which means no one is checking them very carefully before they are sent out. As soon as I took him out of that padded sack he came in it was clear there was a big gap where a finger should be, so it wasn't like it could easily have slipped past someone. I do hope they are aware they have a problem and are working on spare right hands (and better packing!).

    9. My supplier said she'd checked the dolls before she sent them on so presumably mine got damaged in the 100 or so miles between us. I still couldn't find the finger though.

    10. She's adorable DancingBee! :D
Can anyone tell me what their proportions are like with other YoSDs? Can they fit into other Yo clothes at all?
Ahh! I'm getting all antsy for my body to arrive! (and I know it's not going to be here until January!) xD

    11. She's adorable even without a faceup. Congrats on your new girl. I can't get over how cute she is.

    12. Thanks you guys!! I gave her a faceup today. I think she may need freckles and I need to order some new eyelashes.

Doll Chateau Merlin by dancingbeedolls is stressed out, on Flickr

She's wearing a shirt I made for littlefee, but the bottom snap doesn't close. The skirt is one that I made for Narsha, but it's a tight squeeze over her bum.

    13. She is so darn cute, A! I LOVES her! Many congrats on her arrival...and I think you've done a wonderful job on her face-up too!

    14. Congrats! Glad she finally made it home! You did an awesome job on her face-up! It is amazing how a face-up makes a doll come to life and take on a persona. She has tons of character does'nt she? I can't wait to get my Merlin boy after seeing your doll! It is also good to know that they can fit into some Little fee, Yo shirts and possibly some Narsha size things with some adjustments.

    15. She's cute DancingBee :)

I faced up my Vivian, Posy on Tuesday but only got around to taking her photo. I don't have a top for her yet so I can only offer a close up.

    16. Wow, Dancing Bee, I would not even recognize her as one of this quartet - you did a fabulous job on her face up. She's just beautiful!

Love your girl too, akikazu! She looks like she is perfectly happy with close ups for right now! Very pretty!

    17. Thanks guys! I think I'm slowly improving my faceups as I go.

akikazu, she's great! You did a wonderful job with her! Can't wait to see her all dressed up.

    18. For you that have received your dolls: What size eyes and wigs do these dolls wear?

    19. I have the default eyes in my two but I measured their heads and they are 6 1/2". I would go for small 6-7 inch wigs - ie ones without too much hair as that would overwhelm their little faces.

    20. Yes, size 6/7 wigs work and I have 10mm in my Merlin, but it doesn't quite fill out the socket, but that doesn't bother me. I like the smaller iris better than the 12mm.

    21. I have 14mms in my Faust and the irises are huge. I would like to try 12mms - just have to find this color again because I really like them with his factory faceup. And he has a 6-7 fur wig so it has some stretch in it. Good fit though. I haven't found anything to fit him yet, but I don't have any Yo size boys so I am going to have to try to make him something myself. (Oh, poor Random!)

    22. Yay for new babies!!

I played around with Merlin/Piper tonight. She's wearing 12mm eyes in this photo. I haven't had much play time with her yet. Hopefully next week.

Piper by dancingbeedolls is stressed out, on Flickr

I'll try and get a comparison photo. I don't have any yos though. Just littlefee, iplehouse bid and narsha size. Will that help?

    23. The 12mm eyes look just right, DancingBee! Piper is so pretty! I started working on boy patterns today for Random. Now we'll see how long it takes me to actually make him something!

    24. Piper is very versatile! She looks great as a fairy/elfish girl too!

Thanks everyone for the eye and wig info and congrats on all incoming dolls! Hope to see more photos soon!

    25. DancingBee: Piper is adorable. I love her in that wig and dress. I would love to see comparison photos. LittleFee are almost exactly the same size as Yo's so that will be fine for both those dolls.

    26. Oh wow!
Thank you so soo much for the comparison photos! You girls are all so adorable! ~:aheartbea
I guess a custom wardrobe is definitely in order! Too bad I'll have to wait until it's is here before I can get started! xD

    27. Dancing bee...what lovely pics

    28. Wow, thanks so much for those comparison photos. That really gives me a great perspective of the size difference.

    29. Got notification that my little Vivian is in at MOC! Now I just need to come up with the other half of my layaway asap :)

DancingBee: What wig is your Bisou wearing? Looks perfect for what I want for my DC babe!

    30. Posy finally has clothing (btw she is standing next to my DC Hugh here)

Regarding the question of YoSD size clothing on these bodies, the shoulders are too small and the waist too large to fill out shirts/tops properly IMO.

    31. This may be a silly question (and may need to be moved), but does anyone have an large doll head that they could just sit on top of one of these bodies? I'm in love with the body. It's amazing and I'm so glad to be able to see pictures of them finally! I have a hybrid planned for the Leeke Ariana and the Leeke Florence heads to put on the girl bodies. These bodies are extremely short and those heads are Blythe/Pullip sized so I'm worried it won't look like I'm imagining. I would ask if some one had a Pullip/Bylthe head laying about to stick on one,but I'm afraid that picture would be deleted as offtopic even if it is meant a size ref. Ideas guys?

I just wanted to find something out before I put in an order for the bodies. (which I have plenty of time because of my holiday Leeke layway lol)

Oh,did the broken finger issue get worked out? @_@ Their boxes sure are cute.

    32. Mouse (Merlin) got his new hand last Friday and decided to dress like a bee for some reason. Both he and Squirrel (Lilith) have quite short heads which match their bodies - they also have tiny arms. I honestly don't think a large head would work but don't have anything I could try.

    33. She looks great!! Yeah, nothing I have fits all that great. I don't know when I'll be able to make her something. I still love her body, she's just going to be a challenge.

The largest head I have is an msd 7/8, but I'm willing to take a picture for you if you'd like. I'm not sure how a size 11 head will work on this body though.

I'm glad you got a new hand Hilarie. We need to see pics now. :)

    34. What size ig and eyes for these adorables babies ?

    35. Oh,thank you! My Asuka is a size 7-8 head and I was debating between an art body and the DC babies, but since the Leeke chirstmas event answered that for me...lol That is down right stinking adorable though! That means most msd sized heads would make a cute hybrid for these bodies. SD,maybe. Like a big fat maybe.

    36. Thanks! I really love the Leina head on the DC body. Thanks for making me try it. :)
When finances allow, the first thing I'm getting is a pink normal body, or two. I tried my Dollmore Narsha size Shabee head on this body and I loved that too.

Thank you! Yes, I made the dress for my Littlefee. It's too tight and the straps are too short, but it works okay for now.

    37. Got my girl today, and wow! Is she ever in a foul mood ;)

Her two middle fingers broke off sometime in transit, so she is kinda showing me that she loves me (right?)...but, she keeps popping that arm up all the time like she's saying: "Look at this! This WILL NOT do! What are you gonna do about this?!?!" :)

Anyhoo, I contacted MOC about the broken hand, so hopefully, they'll be able to get a replacment soon. Now, I gotta figure out what to put her in since nothing I got fits her...ARGH!

    38. Oh no! Not another broken hand! They need to get there stuff together on how to correctly package dolls.
Glad you are taking it in stride Willowrain. May I ask who you ordered from?

    39. Hilary and Jodie are off-topic, as is the B-body-03/B-body-04 body they are on. This means they may not be discussed, bought or sold on Den of Angels and may not be the focus of photoshoots alone. Hybrids with the Hilary/Jodie head or the B-body-03/B-body-04 body will be off-topic.

I'm sorry for any disappointment, but technically and aesthetically they do not meet the criteria for inclusion.

    40. I was wondering if the skintones were comparable to Dollzone? I'm kinda split between the pink and yellow tones.

    41. I don't see why my post saying they should make an on topic doll with the same torso and arms got deleted. What is wrong with wanting to see a tiny doll with the same kind of proportions as their on topic SDs? They really need to do this especially since any post market hybrids would be off topic.

    42. I believe they are comparable to DZ from other Doll chateau threads I have read here.

    43. Thank you Luckyl! I think I read somewhere that Doll Chateau is made up of a few DollZone sculptors or at least a few of the DollZone people are involved with Doll Chateau.

I love all the bodies and think it's wonderful that DC is making such interesting and unique body styles.

I wonder what range of posing the dolls have since the fat bottoms set the thighs and legs apart. I only have Volks yosd at the moment and love the swarrico posing that the twisting hip joint allows. Can anyone attempt this pose with their DC babies?

    44. Eh,I wouldn't worry about it. Some stuff gets caught (almost EVERYTHING I post gets deleted on for some reason that I don't even feel like fathoming, for example). My mere mentioning on their stock names got deleted while all of my posts of the OT'd LW Ariana in a different thread didn't. I have a feeling that if DC produces a tiny with those proportions, and a mere mention of it got deleted on,it will be OT'd quickly....but you never know. The mods may surprise. You just got to remember: you can own and do what you please - outside of DoA,of course (not meant in a snarky way =3).

      • x 1
    45. I do think it could be that the off topic doll was mentioned at all but I don't see the problem with describing its faults and saying how they could change it to possibly be on topic, since often people from the doll companies do read posts here. Companies cannot improve their product if they don't know what needs to be improved.

    46. It's the talking about the off topic doll that's the issue. It's off topic, so Mods delete the discussion. As far as the doll needing improvements to be on topic for DoA, it's really not about that. There are other forums to talk and share off topic dolls. Doll companies are free to make whatever they want without having to try and stick to the largest english speaking forums " terms " of on topic dolls. The Mod Team has said and stand by their final choice on deeming a doll on or off topic and it is solely at their discression.

If you feel like a company could improve the doll based on your advice then feel free to contact them. Though, personally, I don't think that it has to be DoA approved for me to enjoy a doll. I like what I like and no one else has a say in that. :)

Man, I miss spell check. :< Forgive me if it came off as snarky, I wasn't meaning to sound like it.

Anyway, I'm curious as to if DC will be offering a regular line of clothing since their babies have such a unique pear shaped body. I'd imagine traditional yo clothing wouldn't fit the bodies without a few tweaks here and there.

    47. Off-topic dolls may not be discussed on DoA at all and it's routinely deleted. There should have been a notification with all deleted posts explaining this.

Feedback like that should be given directly to the company rather than discussing here how to make an off-topic doll on-topic. Some companies read DoA threads, but not all of them do. The best way of getting feedback and comments to the company is to take it to them directly. As dolls are discussed individually, there is no guarantee a doll will be on- or off-topic. We just have to wait and see what companies come up with next.

If a doll is found to be off-topic, it just means that it doesn't fit DoA's strictly focused criteria - it's not a criticism on the doll, the sculpting or the artist. There are so many places to share off-topic dolls and hybrids too - Flickr, for one.

I hope that some independent tailors and seamstresses take on the DC challenge too, Manda_Chan! The proportions are so unusual that it would be nice if someone started making clothes for DC dolls that were regularly available.

    48. Fyi:
I think we better get the discussion back on the on-topic babies. With all the time waiting for my Merlin, his character is starting to come together now. He is going to be a victorian ghost character, so good thing I ordered him in white. Most of the babies I have seen so far have been pink skin. Has anyone else ordered white skin?

    49. Oooooo!!! I love this idea! Can't wait to see him!

    51. Squeeeeee...eeeeee.....eeeeeee. Out of breath.
Any who. I ordered a Instock Vivian in Pink skin blank.

I don't know what to do with the head but the body is going to the project pictured bellow. The Leekeworld clarice head is temprarly on a white skin Doll Chateau baby body. (note: this body will be used for another project..can't wait)

    52. That looks so strange, and yet so cute Maudib05! :D

    53. These babies would look absolutely adorable in some ruffled panties and dress. <3
