Hello all, just sharing a cute little doll I painted for someone. I don't usually paint anthros, but I've been getting lots of anthro requests as of late. So this is challenging my skills quite a bit with painting and restringing. She requested a celestial/galaxy theme but more with pinks and lavenders. I will need to do more photos but I think I still need to fiddle with her stringing to make her more stable (ha horse pun)!
Lovely job. You actually painted some anthros for me four and a half years ago and they are still the most amazing works of art on resin that I have!
@Airy18 : Thank you so very much! I love working with an airbrush to do these gradation paint jobs. It makes things a lot easier! @Kochou : Thank you so very much! I really wanted there to be a depth of colors aside from pink and lavender. @phanuel : Yes! Your Fingertip Dreamland Maru gang have been amongst my favorite commissions of all time! I enjoyed doing them to no end! @popuko : Thanks so much! I definitely wanted the colors to make her shine.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I'm new to the BJD world and just learning about anthros. The colors are so beautiful!
Wow I really like the whole theme with the shooting stars and moon! This really fits the sculpt! Looks very professional and well done.
@minifee-mama-2k21 : I'm glad to hear that! Anthros are wonderful and unique little dolls made by a wide array of companies. I don't own very many but I really enjoy getting to see them and paint them. You get to do a lot of creative things with these little fantasy anthros especially. @Masteryoda : Thanks so much! I did a similar theme for another Anthro last year, and got a lot of practice with painting little shimmering stars. I think you're right though... this little Pegasus was made for a galatic theme!
