I do. I'm not at a computer at present but I'll try to pm you later today. If I forget give me a shout! Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
THANKS FOR THE PATTERN MISSEMILY and WALLY!!! Decided I'd better hurry and try my Hope Sprocket head on my Kid body before Hope has to leave. She is wearing a hat and shrug made for sprockets by Ulla Designs and the Jeans are by Raw Kiss, the wig and faceup and modifications to face by me.
Hugh got a pair of boots. Doll chateau Hugh by hirrro, on Flickr from Angell-studio, 1/4 kid girls size. I took off butterfly, and add the buffalo. ブーツ by hirrro, on Flickr
Stella, Thank you! I made the stockings and shorts by myself. The white shirt - from Alice's collection
Hugh is so lovely!! *-* I love threads like this, there's so much info in them (and so many pics that spark inspiration and ideas ...and urges to buy half the world XD), this forum is so full of wonderful resources and info.
My Alma came in the post today, and I'm pretty sure I'll need to perform some kind of ritual to figure out how to put on her upper garments. Oo I haven't seen anything much for Alma, but I'm guessing that shirts for Ken dolls might work. She's quite tiny up top.
Anyone here has 16 mm eyes on their Albertas? 14 mm are a bit short and 16 mm a bit large or 14 are just fine? I still can't decide and this is frustrating me >_<
Hybris: I used 14 mm on the Alberta i had at one point. She also came with 14mm. So my best bet is to try out 14mm or go to eyeco which has in between sizes which is nice.
I'm not sure if these have been mentioned before, but these shoes fit really nicely. My Bella needs to wear socks with them, and they are a little longer/wider than her actual foot, but because the ankle fits so nicely, it's impossible to tell just by looking. They look very proportional. They can be found at http://www.acbjd.com/sh345-p-5873.html?cPath=1_21 in four colours, just choose the 1/4 size. I'm not sure on a brand? There is no marking on mine, and I got them included with a second-hand doll so there was no packaging. If anyone knows, I'd love to know so that I can find other shoes that might fit by the same maker!
Hello, I'm looking for shoes for my dollchateau hybrid doll, and i wondering if releaserain ballet pump can fit on her?
Wow.. So I bought a DC Alma on Ebay last night. I was really taken by her uniqueness and had to have her now I am looking and trying to figure out what fits the k07 body... I want to make most of my clothing for her but I can't find a basic pattern or an in expensive dress for her. Can anyone help? I read that some barbie clothing fit her top does anyone have any suggestions to which fit better. Thank you so much.
Seconding that K-07 body question! And I also have a few answers for it as well! Bad cellphone pics over on my tumblr here. I recently got my K-07 body in and I've found that a pair of stretchy (key: stretchy) MNF bottoms I bought recently can squeeze over her hips for a tight fit, though the pair of shorts I have are cut on the inside so the ends can be folded up, so I can't say if they'd normally fit the thighs. She has a YoSD cardigan that fits her pretty well if you don't mind the fact that the sleeves only go to her elbows and the front just covers her breasts (which is a nice look, so I don't mind). All of the MSD shirts I have are far too big for her, but YoSD clothes should work better on the top. The shoulders and torso are just so small! Since I have a rough idea of what fits better now that the body's in, I can start shopping for certain sizes, so I'll definitely let you know if I find anything!
Thirding requests on info about what fits the K-07 / K-11 bodies. They're so oddly shaped that they look pretty tricky to fit. But so beautiful! I made my girl a simple tube dress so she won't be naked, but I don't think I can comfortably sew for her until I actually get her. I discovered a small handful of Etsy sellers that make clothes that fit the K-07 / K-11 bodies I'm not affiliated with these sellers in any way, but I'm sharing links in the interests of helping out my fellow doll enthusiasts. Hope this is okay? BlueDollyKiss Hand knitted / crocheted clothes CandyDollShop Tights, socks and some outfit sets venecja Corsets and fancy dresses If anyone else knows other sellers that make clothing that fits them, please do share. EDIT: The person from CandyDollShop is going to make me some panties and stockings in January that fit the K-07/K-11 body, so she takes requests. Thank goodness. Since I plan on having my girl wear a fair few skirts and dresses, she really needs some panties .__. I'll try to add to this page when she gets home.
ATSlalaland , ttyacom , MilkBunnyBoutique from etsy work for the boy body. Sizes in msd. Ttya, a tad short but still fit on waits and legs, the stingray top is oversized in the fashionable way .ATSlalaland msd ooak set made for a slim mini also fits, the leggings are a tad short. MilkbunnyBoutique slim mini leggings are really short, the shirt rides up a bit.
Has anyone bought these boots for the k-01 body? http://www.acbjd.com/bt359-p-5858.html? cPath=1_20 the inside length seems right but I'm not sure they'll fit due to the slight high heel. I've been working with two shops on Etsy to order custom sweaters that, hopefully, should fit the kid body. Both were super willing to work with me. The sweaters are in transit now and should be here in a couple of days/weeks?. Both of the Russian ladies knit the sweaters for me in a couple of days. Here's a link to the sweaters I ordered: https://www.etsy.com/listing/212117355/cardigan-with-hood-for-minifee-msd-bjd?ref=shop_home_active_7 I ordered two with this vendor due to the cost of the shipping. I have other dolls that they could fit so I decided to take a chance: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/256787499 I was amazed by how fast they got my orders done. I wish I could knit! I'm going to try to make some distressed jeans and leather shoes to go with them. Wish me luck!
I have a dc belle I want to put on a dc yosd body the head is the same size as my yosd heads anyone try this? Thank you.
Hello! Just thought I'd mention that the two sets I have from wimukt fit on the k-01 body. I have a dress that is loose on the top, but these dungarees fit perfectly Only her socks are a little loose.... DC Queena by kamiakeller, on Flickr
Here are my tries in finding matching clothes for my dear Somni (Queena on k-07-body): Shirt: designed for Barbie - Seller: Pinkscroll on etsy. It fits nicely but it is really short.... Shorts: bought from Alice's Collections (http://www.acbjd.com/apg002-in-stock-p-4704.html?cPath=3_166) "Shirt": was a Barbie dress also from Pinkscroll on etsy Skirt: is a wrapping skirt from an original (and meanwhile sold out) Iplehouse-JID-Girl-Set Now (and not on the photos) she finally wears some shoes, too. I originally bought them for my Faerwen (RS Mei) from Alice's Collections: http://www.acbjd.com/m400303-in-stock-p-4504.html?cPath=68_71 They look matching and because of their shoelaces they can be strung very tight, so they don't fall off her feet
I have a question for the DC heads, are they the type with the bean thing resting beneath the S hook? or the usual ones where you just need to pull the S hook to remove the head? :O
Hi everyone!! I'm super bummed here about the k-08 DC body The joints will pop out of the sockets all the time, the knees pop out, the elbows... How the hell do I fix this? I tried hotglue sueding but although the friction improved they still pop out like a nightmare, I restrung the doll at least 5 times, made the elastic tight, moderate, loose.. and it just won't stop popping out. Currently my doll is loosely strung and although it prevents A BIT the popping out of sockets he just cant hold any pose now, at all.. I love the body but it's so horribly engineered.. Can anyone help me out here?? I really don't want to just have to buy another body
The shoes for my Somni (k-07-body) arrived today Aaaaand - they fits her small feet perfect!! Bought a pair of this one and a pair of these, if anyone is interested.
I love the pictures. I have admired these dolls but have always shied away from buying one because of their bodies. I have a hard time finding clothes for my Leeke A-type and B-type girls.
Deirdriu, can you post a link to the shop? All those links get is a "This Item is No Longer Available" message and similar items from other shops.
Does anyone know if Minifee clothing would fit my forthcoming bella? I imagine it would have to be quite loose but that would suit my girl fine
Rawkiss on etsy sells Jean print trousers that fit Like a dream on my Elizabeth. Really couldn't stop smiling cuz they fit so well. I wanted to commission the same jeans for an EID girl (big girls need love too!) but unfortunately she wasn't able to do that anyhow, her jeans are about the most realistic I've seen and geez, do they ever fit excellently (standing, sitting, kneeling, all of it!)
I have some random fun info for those with DC kid boys, and perhaps the girls too, in case anyone was interested: I just tried an old G.I. Joe army jacket on my Douglas, and while the sleeves only just make it past his elbows, it fits well otherwise and looks pretty neat. Very hipster.
I looked through and didn't see it, please correct me if I'm wrong, but has anyone mentioned clothing that fits the K05 girl bodies? I know they're a little more proportioned than the K07, so I assume it'll be easier to find stuff for that body?
I have a doll chateau Elizabeth who came with 14mm eyes (Which look wayyy too big on her). What size does anyone with an Elizabeth recommend? (If this is the right thread to ask about such things)
I hope you've gotten your answer before now, but I have been looking into what size eyes Elizabeth would take (I will be getting one soon yay!) And the size that personally looks the best are 12mm. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
Hi Guys I've got a question and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask. Can you suggest fully jointed hands that fit for the K02 body? I know the limited DZ hands are a perfect match but since they are limited it's almost impossible to find them on sale
Bella Shoes - FYI 9 Style's Bunny Doll Shoes fit Bella's feet wonderfully. I've gotten both sneakers and Mary Jane's.
I was just fooling around and put my Agatha in a 17" Monster High dress. I have two and both fit her upper body!!! They are really really short and definitely need leggings or cute bloomers or a petticoat/skirt to make it a functional outfit. Had to take her head off to dress her, though.
Hey everyone--I have irrevocably busted my poor Bella's hand, and need to order her a new set. I'd prefer not to order her jointed ones, as I like her with non-jointed hands. Anyone have a suggestion of a set that looks proportional to the original girl's body? ; ^ ;
I'm gonna be ordering a bunch of dollmore stuff, since I have other girls that can wear them if they don't work out, so I'll let yall know if they fit my girl (well... her body anyway. I haven't decided on a head yet) Edit; I was also wondering if any of you guys knew some high top sneakers that don't look like converse for my girl? If all else fails I'll attempt to make my own, but I think that's a last resort, haha.
Here's a quick picture of what I cobbled together this week for my Alma. The shoes are from Denis Bastien for LeeAnn, which I had for some of my big-footed YoSD girls. I have the jelly frog shoes as well, and they are too short. FWIW. I am going to order some of his multibutton higher shoes, since i have other dolls that can wear them, and will post the results of that experiment. The top is actually an Iplehouse BID dress. It's too big at the top; I have it pinned with a straight pin in back, so that was an easy fix. The capris are Dale Rae's MSD leggings, made of stretchy spandex-type material, and fit wonderfully -- which is good, since I have three different pairs of those. I was glad to get her out of her default outfit, with the heavy skull ornaments that pulled her skirt down on one side and pulled her wig off from time to time. I also sanded down her long toenails so that she won't rip through tights I make for her.
Can anyone give me some suggestions as to what would fit the K-12 body? I looked through the thread, but I didn't see anything. I'll be getting my Matthew soon, so I'd like to start shopping for clothes and shoes for him.
Thought I'd share a couple pics of my DC Alma, Farrah. She's on a K01 body, which is my fave body! I love the proportions! She fits great into a 6/7 Leekeworld wig. Dollmore bottoms fit perfectly on her. The white jumper is from Dollmore and a couple other pairs of pants I have from them fit well also. The boots are Dollzone 1/4 size and are a little big but I recently got some Lorifina and Cissy doll shoes that fit like they were made for her. She also fits into Barbie tops that have a looser design.
Reviving this thread- Does anyone have the K-08 boy body and has tried fitting regular MSD clothes to it? Boys seem harder to dress....itd not matter if they were feminine clothes, though, so long as they fit....
I'm seconding this as i'm waiting on a K-08 myself. Stabbington I have ordered a top and leggings for slim msd/mnf from etsy and just asked the sellers if they could make them a little longer and they were fine with that. Once he and the cloths arrive I will show you how they look.
I was wondering, does anyone here know how well a 6/6.5 Leekeworld wig fits on a Isabel head (who I believe is a 6.8). I'm trying to decide if it would be too small and I should just go for a 7/8.
Clothes for BJD dolls by CandyDollShop this store sells doll chateau leggings haven't bought one yet but i'm going to
Msd pants from Starshinedesigns on Etsy fit the original msd girl body with a little tight wiggle over the hips.
Does anyone know if minifee sized clothes can fit a k-02 body? I'm looking into getting a pair of leggings but I want to know if they'd fit him first. Thanks!
Hm, not sure about that. They might be a little short. I think minifee's are forty centimeters or something like that, and I believe the that body is 45 cm.
