Doll Chateau Bella - first doll in 2023

I ordered DC Bella from in stock Denver Dolls Emporium on 23rd of January. She is my first doll that I don't have to wait on [save for my second-hand head] so was extremely excited to receive her within weeks rather than months!

First few impressions/ excited ramblings:

1. I was pleasantly surprised to see extra joints on hands! I ordered regular Bella so didn't expect extra joints at all and was planning to add those from my DC Cecile [despite resin colour difference]. So it's truly a wonderful surprise.

2. DC logo is just so pretty...

3. Minifee slim clothes I bought for her are...odd fitting. Not exactly bad, but the body piece is too short to reach her shoulders while the dress [I adore it!!!] is a bit loose.

4. She wears 14mm eyes and 6.5-7" wig.

5. She's in peach resin and looks very pale next to DC pink. Both are 2022 - I don't know how long she was in stock at DDE though.

6. I just love how much character Bella has, even without make-up. Can't wait to try my first face-up attempts at her. Actually, poor Cecile will be the first victim.

7. Bella is such a cutie that I actually plan to keep her close at my desk. I am truly grateful I can own such a DC classic. I'm waiting for her to tell me who she is. [meaning: start planning for her character instead of drooling over the sculpt!]
