Doll Chateau - Adult Dolls - Part 2

I really like the new A05 body and had thought about using it for my long awaited Agnes hybrid, but I just don't think it will work for me. I love it, but it just doesn't strike the right chord with what I had in mind. Hmm either way I'm glad there's more options now for the female youth heads (even if modding is required to get the head to fit properly).

 

I have to say I'm in love with Arali and Lily too, they look so pretty, but they are so tall
Still I'm thinking of buying one of them and making her the mother of my Sexta, I think that would be nice.

Maybe for christmas, they are so expensive and I have a convention coming up.

But speaking of my Sexta, Muse, I thought I could leave a recent photo of him here, since I always said I wanted to take more photos of him but never managed to OTL I'm sorry.

I'm getting close to three months waiting for my A02 body eee. I'm getting more comfortable with the idea of Cyril on the newer body too. It will probably be a while before I get him tho, I've got some major saving to do.

Correction, I'm past three months! Hopefully I don't have much longer. ^^

So with the A-02 being discontinued the only adult female body is the new one with the ball jointed waist. I wonder if they will come out with another one too.

 

Yes definitely! He's for my April Story Minho head, now I gotta make him some clothes with the patterns I made from a Chester in my local group so hopefully he wont be naked when he gets here.

Turns out my order was ready, just waiting on some event eyes that weren't in stock. I had messaged them about changing my shipping address so they just asked if I wanted to pick a different set of eyes to ship my order out faster so I was like... Well heck yeah! So they are going to ship this week! There's a slight chance I'll get it on Saturday but no promises. Excited to finally hold DC's lanky sd boy.

Hi everyone! I'm looking in to finding a way to get a pair of jointed hands for a hybrid.
Do you think adult size would be appropriate for a zaoll?

I understand DC are not selling these separate and finding them might prove difficult but if any of you have pictures of those hands next to similar hands I would be so grateful!

I got my A02 body yesterday! I love it omg. I am a little sad I waited so long to get one since it's discontinued now. Anyway, here he is with a bobobie Weylin head. I am absolutely loving this hybrid... It's not as obvious in this photo but the head definitely needs blush to match. The NY is such a great color, I'm really glad I opted for it over pink. AND HE'S SO CUDDLY WOW I just want to carry him everywhere. Hope everyone has a great day!

Congrats! I'm still waiting for mine to show up, my tracking isn't working grrr! So I have no clue where he is, hoping he shows up by or before friday though since my friend is visiting and I want her to see him in all his glory.

They are all looking gorgeous! I just got a shipping notice for my embossed Delores torso piece (they sent mine plain) which is going to go on my Mephisto.Pheles. Now I can start planning who is going to paint him for me

Have you decided a style for him yet? I know he is an Alien vampire but that's all. Details, I want details.

 

He is based on a combination of things SteamWitch. He is my oc but his attributes have been influenced by the Wraith from Stargate Atlantis and the Wamphyri from Brian Lumley's novel series The Necroscope. He is going to stay very pale with no body blushing apart from the embossed area which I think is going to be black. He will have dark eye makeup but probably very pale lips maybe a bit grey toned and he has long pure white hair. I would like him to have black talons/claws but that is a mod I would have to send hands off for in the future. If he opened his mouth it would open very wide and be full of sharp fangs. He once was from a human like species but he has a symbiotic vampirie leech living inside him which has given him immortality but changed him both physically and mentally over the countless thousands of years he has existed. Well that's the short story of Shai'tan's long history

 

Kavarr, what a great idea for your character. Very interesting. I loved reading the Necroscope series, and found the Wamphyri very fascinating. I'm looking forward to seeing him

Look what finally came yesterday! The tracking number never ended up working but oh well, my cute birdy finally has his body now!



He just needs some pants now. I got lazy and never finished any so I just ordered him some cute ones on etsy. For now he just gets to sit around in undies.

 

Thanks Jemey and SteamWitch! I would love to have an open mouthed version too with all those teeth it would be amazing but my Shai'tan will have his mouth closed.
He looks great Leader of the Rats! I think he would look just fine sitting around in his undies. Those bodies are such works of art it is almost a crime to cover them up


Edit: Ticuk has agreed to paint Shai'tan for me so I will be sending his head and chest off in the next week or two

 

Thanks! Only problem is theres a huge color difference, I didnt expect the yellow skin to be so dark! I do adore his booty though, he's gonna need some butt-huggers to wear

Now if only SD sized wings were more common so I could actually find some secondhand or at least sold separately.

 

Hello everyone

I was just wondering if anyone knows what kind of clothing fits the double jointed adult male body (A-body-03). Which brands fit best? SD17 or 70 cm clothing? And especially shoes! I'm having trouble finding shoes that fit my Sexta's feet!

Oh, and @Leader of the Rats, your boy looks adorable! That body does somehow fit him.

 

I find the 70 fits the length best in the legs and arms. The body is so slim that you have to belt up the pants. SD17 sometimes are too short and wide. I've used Ringdoll, Volks and Dollheart clothes on mine.

Thaddeus is looking good SteamWitch The sarong idea is a good one as I will have nothing for Shai'tan (Mephisto) to wear and with my limited sewing skills maybe I cold make one of those and it shows off that amazing torso. I think I will have to commission someone to make a long black fitted leather coat and pants for me eventually as that is what his character would really wear.
I'm both excited and nervous as I sent his head and torso (it finally arrived!) off to get painted today. I decided to have his embossed area black as I like the contrast on the pure white resin.

 

Ahahaha, my poor Bait has been taken completely apart for airbrushing, including his hands and feet. It's such a pain getting the fingers and toes off because everything was so tight, so I'm debating if I should get new string with just a little tiny bit more give for when he's reassembled. I've never wanted my Bait to be back together again more. T_T But the hand and foot stringing is pretty simple. All the loops go back up and hook around the o-ring before going back down into a channel to connect with the s-hook for each finger or toe. Despite this, I am thinking of asking DC for a video on their method of stringing, because now that everything is apart, I'm not sure how I will be getting it back together again without scratching the color off. D:

 

Hi everyone! I'm planning on getting a DC adult boy on a3 body, but I'm in doubt- its height is huge, and I'm conserned about its weight. There's nothing written on company's site, so here's the question.
How much do those dolls weight? Sorry if I'm posting the wrong topic, and your help is much appreciated ^_^

These guys really are pretty light for their size... They weigh much, much less than most of the "big guys", like Iple's EID or Soom's MegaGems. They're even lighter than Dollshe's skinny Pure-body dolls.

As a fresh-in-mind comparison, I was carrying Fox (my Pierre, who's on the A-04 body) and Jade (one of my standard-leg Volks SD13 guys-) back upstairs this morning after a weekend sewing session, and they were relatively close in weight. Even though Fox has a good 8 or 9 centimeters of height on Jade, he was no heavier...

 

Wow, that's good news, thanks a lot, SteamWitch and Brightfires! If they are lighter than dollshe pure - than they weight not more than 2 kilograms, just as an ordinary SD doll... Which is really convenient for me, as I'm used to travel a lot with my dolls.
So, thanks again for your help, I'll certainly get myself one of DollChateau's gorgeous dolls~

 

Well Shai'tan (my Mephisto) is os having his face painted as well as the Delores embossed chest piece I got for him. I can't wait to have him back and whole. I figure i'm probably going to need to commission someone to make him a coat and pants as I love the extra jointing so of course nothing I own fits. I want a pair of black leather pants and a long black fitted leather coat for him. He will wear no shirt as I want to show the embossed part on his chest/neck. Until I save up though I think he may have to live in a borrowed t shirt

Wooow! Mari is so cute! I loved that body so much, I wish it hadn't been discontinued. They are lovely bodies, so slender and with nice hands. How is the color matching between IoS and DC?

In two-ish weeks I can see my little Bait assembled again! Then I can enjoy my boy too. TAT

I hope to post some pictures soon. I'm really behind on taking pictures lol. She doesn't have a faceup or clothes right now, and the wig had set aside for her turned out to be too big (so I'm getting that style again in a smaller size)... But at least her eyes are real!

She's really lovely, although it's highly unlikely she will ever stand up.

Agh, you guys, restringing the partially jointed hands is a task for two people. Two people working with those tiny hooks in a tiny space and oh my gosh. I'm glad I painted them, but I am SO SAD I can't restring them without help and jewelry tools.
I need some cheer-up spam, please. Bait's so close to being done and I have to wait for someone with extra hands and good eyes.

Foxfire (Pierre)

 

I love rainy days. Is it cold up there? Foxfire looks like he's dressed warmly today. Oh! I love kind of chilly rainy days! Thank you! I'm determined to get Bait's hands and feet together now.

 

It won't get cold for a few more months yet... It tends to stay in the 60's here in the fall... But the return of our rain is definitely a welcome break from last summer. I've had enough Bone-Dry-And-Holy-Hell-Is-It-Hot to last me a couple of years.

 

Haha, that kind of weather is not really so fun. While hot and dry is kind of nice, it gets bothersome quickly. Our weather got chilly almost immediately after fall officially started. I wish it had been rainy though.

Hey! I got Bait's hands and feet strung with a lot of help (and cookies) from my dad! I'm waiting for the glue on his sueding to dry.

I can't believe Flickr doesn't work well with my iPad. It's super annoying. But here's a picture of Bait's hand and foot! They chipped a bit in the stringing process, both the paint and er.. the resin. >_>

I got pictures today of my Shai'tan that Ticuk has finished painting for me. She has outdone herself and done an amazing face up and painted his torso for me. Now I can't wait for him to get home

 

Um @Pandy Thaddeus is always ready to show off his parts and I'd say the s-hook is just a bit bigger than the one in his thumb. Sorry for the delay.

Kavarr Shai'tan looks wonderful! Hard to believe he has a mouth full of sharp teeth but then again he has to blend in.

 

It's okay, I'm glad to know that it was different after all! I found a single s-hook for the feet and I was wondering if it was possibly for it, but then I realized that I had misplaced two hooks. D: I made new ones, they worked out well and they are purple wire so they blend in. Also, gonna keep repeating this, but the feet are a nightmare to restring. The hands are great once you get the hang of it, but I'm never taking the feet apart again, I don't care if the paint all strips away, NEVER AGAIN.

Oh my gosh, Shai'tan looks so cool! Ticuk is really good, it's too bad they are so far away! Kind of nervewracking. So pretty!

That being said, I have no idea where to find shoes! All my shoe purchases so far have been for female dolls, so I don't even know where to begin. Does anyone here have links to good shoe sellers? Ideally I'd be looking for boots or sandals, or anything else fantasy-ish.

Maybe I'll just need to make him some when he arrives. But I'd prefer to start looking into these things already while waiting, so that he doesn't need to be all nude for too long.

 

Fox is wearing a pair of sandals sized for my SD17... They came from one of the eBay sellers, but it was so long ago that the sale record isn't on my purchase page anymore. So, no clue *which* seller it was. They shipped from China, but that's not much help.

Glad you like him Pandy. Ticuk has done a few of mine and never had trouble with the post. I use ems there and back to make extra safe.
So Shai'tan arrived home today and I had the joy of restringing him to put the embossed torso on. He is wonderful even without cloths and having a slightly fluffy wool wig that needs a bit of work. Here is a pic I took as soon as he was whole:

 

The embossed torso looks great. Having it matte black is a cool idea, I don't think I've seen that before. Really fits in with the faceup and the wig, too!

 

Thanks ronnie92. I debated adding a bit of silver but couldn't decide so I thought I would just have matte black as it really stands out against the white body. For now I am more than happy with how it turned out.

 

Hi everyone, just got my Chester on the original adult body (sorry no pics - I have to remember my password for the image hosting site lol) ... hopefully I'll get to start his faceup tomorrow. I've probably missed it somewhere else in the thread so sorry if I'm covering old ground but any ideas where to get some clothes - mostly trousers - for this guy? Thanks =)

 

Honestly, I have yet to find anything from the shops that would really fit these guys well... I've ended up making everything Scribe (A-03 bod) and Fox (A-04) wear. XP
