Shopping Does Fairyland ever sell the FeePle60 Moe/girl body on its own?

Nov 19, 2023

    1. I know you can order it bare with a head via their A La Carte menu, but I can't seem to find any listing on their website for the body on its own, even though they sell lone bodies for their other lines like Minifee.

Is purchasing a solo FeePle 60 body direct from company not an option at all, or is this maybe just a lack of stock thing?

I'd rather not have to resort to A La Carte since I'd have to sell the head it comes with which is more hassle + more costly than body alone.

    2. @ashefaust Perhaps because of the absurd amount of Fairyland recasts, there are many things which other companies offer separately that Fairyland does not. Feeple bodies are unfortunately one of them. Your best bet is to either set up a split and offer someone else their head of choice, then be willing to ship it once the doll arrives, or to watch for a secondhand body that can come separate of the head.

    3. I've bought body my separate F60 bodies secondhand, so they do show up! Your best bet is definitely a split or a WTB post.

    4. In that case I'll probably opt for doing a split so I can be sure it's still direct from company.

In this case, would I have to send the COA along with the head to the other split member? I'm not really familiar with weather COA tends to stick with heads or bodies or if I should just photocopy it for them or something.

    5. I most often see COA go with the head but I think if you are hosting the split, you get to decide whether you keep the COA or a photo copy. Just make sure your split partner is aware of your plans before agreeing to the purchase.

Personal opinion only, if you purchase the doll with your name, and have a receipt tied to the purchase then I think it's nice to send COA with the head and keep yourself a photo copy. because otherwise, you have two proof of the body's providence in the receipt and COA, while the split partner is left with only copies. You could also do it the other way around if your split partner makes the purchase and you take the COA with the body.

    6. I wonder if you might be able to ask Fairyland for two COAs - one for the head and the other for the body. Some companies, like Soom, now provide separate COAs for the head and body since many people do splits for their dolls.

Anyway, yes, most of the time, the COA goes with the head as COAs usually only have the name of the head sculpt. They usually don't contain info on the body, so it doesn't really help to authenticate the body anyway?
