Does Domuya still sell dolls? Does anyone know?

Feb 23, 2011

    1. Hello all!

I am a longtime lurker here and haven't posted in ages!

I had been thinking of trying to buy some extra Domuya heads for my Flexi 2 Perennial. However, surfing to Domuya.net, I notice their order feature is no longer available, the website hasn't been updated in a year, and no one has responded to the "contact me" form.

Is Domuya out of business? Does anyone know?

      Thanks
      Jen

    2. I just checked out the site too and noticed the same thing you did. I'm not sure what's going on with them. I am buying a Fin via the Marketplace here but I haven't checked their actual site in a long time. I know that the US retailer The Doll Peddlar still is carrying Domuya dolls and accessories. Let me know if you want a link to it.

    3. Be careful with the Doll Peddlar site. People have been getting viruses from it and that was happening yesterday.

    4. Wow, I didn't know that, Patrice. Thanks for the heads-up. I haven't actually been on the site in a few weeks so I think I will just stay away for a while longer!

    5. This notice is posted at the Domuya website:

We are sorry that we have to put Domuya.net offline for the current moment, we will update again if there is any changes.

Thus, we are not able to take in any order via Domuya.net, but if you are interested in purchasing anything, please use the contact us form within Domuya.net website, we are still able to take in manual order.

Once again, we are sorry for the inconvenience.

    6. The website is not showing up at all now on my computer, I type in the domuya.net and I keep getting a error message, are they finally out of business????

    7. http://domuya.com/ is still working, but it was their older site?

I really hope they will come back to the bjd world eventually.

    8. Think Pink! as one of their agents still must receive some dolls from them wich we are allready paid.
We are very angry with Domuya for closing down without any form of warning or payback the money for non-delivered goods.

    9. ^ that message arrived already around july-august 2010... I cannot remember excatly when, it was during Levi order period anyways. I am so relieved that I got mine home x_x;

They never did mention about what kind of problems they actually had, or did they?

    10. Prompt, and whether it is possible at someone from representatives of this firm to buy bodies, me the white body F-2 very interests. I in grief that I can not find it

This message arrived after we paid for the dolls. They accepted paiment from us as dealer, and did not deliver the goods at all!

    12. This kinda sounds like what happened with Unidoll doesn't it? Just disappearing without any prior notice and no communication.

    13. I tried to look at domuya today none of their websites are working at all!

    14. Hi its great that I see this posted I have been trying to buy a new body for my boy bc the original body is flimsy and sooo heavy. If they are not in business I have been trying to find a right body fit bc the S Hook is so small.

    16. Any updates?

    17. i think we can take it that they are gone, their website is off line and no links work to them so i feel they are no longer trading which is a shame as their dolls were lovely

    18. From what I know, I read in many places that wrote about how Domuya is out of business.

    19. Oh no, what a pity! They had come out with wonderful initiatives, like the Nightmare horse and some stunning fullsets... their perennial bodies also were very beautiful, slender and an amazing option for heads, not to mention that they always were lovely to deal with. What a loss!
