Faceups Does anyone know the artist that did this DIM Flora face up?

    1. I have a DIM Flora with this beautiful face up. I bought her secondhand with this face up a couple of years ago. The seller I bought her from couldn't remember the name of the artist. Her face up is still okay for now. It does have some chipping in a couple of areas that aren't very noticeable. When the face up wears off someday I'd like to have it redone. I've seen a couple other DIM Flora's with the same exact face up!
      Here are some pictures of my Flora with the face up. I've added the eyelashes myself.

    2. If you've seen other Floras with the exact same faceup, it very well could be the company default faceup. Most commissioned artists won't copy their faceups onto more than one doll. They usually are unique to that doll alone.

      At least, the ones I've commissioned are that way. There may be one or two out there who will copy their faceups onto more than one doll.

    3. I'm not sure if it's the factory face up because when you go to the DIM website the factory face up is different. Could it be possible that they changed the factory face up?

    4. Looking at it more closely, it does look more like a commissioned faceup than a factory. The style reminds me a bit of Angel Toast or Nomyens. You might try looking into either of them? They could probably match it pretty well if you need it redone although they probably wouldn't redo a direct copy.

      I've never commissioned Nomyens before but I've gotten a number of my dolls done by Angel Toast and she's an excellent artist. A bit pricey, though, just to warn you. :)

    5. I don't think Angel Toast is the artist because it says on her website that she doesn't copy another artist’s faceup work, nor a previous faceup done by herself. Nomyens. style is pretty similar! They are both great artists! Thank you so much for the information!
