Do you have a picture that would make non-BJD people scratch their heads?

My boyfriend finds my dolls all dressed and wigged morbid enough. I can't imagine what he;d think of this

You see I was experimenting with taking his feet off yesterday and I got one foot off just fine then when i took the secound foot off the pencil sliped and his strings snapped back into his body causing his leg to fall off so this was me restringing just his leg, without putting his other foot back on first.

 

Well I had to keep his head somewhere when he didn't have a body....The glue bottle just worked...XD

 

Kiyoshi's head was away getting a faceup... My dad walked in, did a double take and walked right back out... He was kinda freaked. xP



The pepper was added later. I thought it was too cool that Gimp has a pepper for one of their paint tools... xD

Last month's London meet in which we tried to set the world record for greatest number of BJDs stood on their heads simultaneously. We reached 40.

 

I got one with Airi, I had her head off to mess with her eyes and i was thinking out loud and said "hmm, I wonder is she could hold her head well standing" and my roommate was all like "DO IT" so that's where this picture came from.

 

Well a little while ago I decided to redo the blushing on Riona's hands. So then she was sitting on my desk like this:


She looks a bit murderous, threatening me with a pencil, ready to take a swing, but... she has no hands o.O

 

This picture doesn't look particularly funny... until you realize I left him in that INWARD FACING window of our hotel room we were staying at. So every regular mundane who walked past our room saw... that... waiting for them. (I'd gotten him about a day earlier, so he only had the clothes he shipped with.)

EMERGENCY restringing after his arm EXPLODED off of his body. Luckily the pieces hit my tummy instead of the floor. My immadiate reaction was "ACK! Get something in the elastic!" So I grabbed his own forearm and shoved it in there, only after I got all my restringing supplies did I realize how hillarious it looked. Enjoy.

In other words, my [infamous] "5.5 floating heads" are in the basket [the Dreaming Shiwoo in the chair is Ryuichi's other head, it needs modded before it can occasionally land on Ryuichi's body] and my S.O. InuYasha's Alucard head!

When Pinion's body arrived it was a different shade than the head because its 1 year newer. Yesterday I put it front side up in the sun to "age" the resin (worked beautifully BTW) and today he's sunning his backside. XD I wonder what the neighbors think...

I've come back to laugh at this thread for ages and I finally have something that might be odd enough:





To explain, I epoxied the hole in my Bisou's hand shut and had no where to let it dry. My dad suggested a fruit, but a potato was handy too. She was clamped and waiting patiently for it to dry. Yeah, my family was a little confused...
