whats all going on in this picture? uhm, 3 heads, 2 legs without feet and disassembled and 2 arms disassembled without hands, some clothes and a mask and of coarse bubblewrap. I got the box with my June and thought it'd be good to collect all my bjds in there...unfortunately i'm running out of room...

 

My housemate got really upset about this and has banned me from putting BJD pictures as our desktop background now!

 

During the process of faceup and body blushing, I needed to keep the string on the Domuya body from sliding away down into the chest, so I stole an elastic loop from a patio canopy and put it in a half-hotch on the ring to hold it.

 

Got another one.

I took this when my Pipos Cheshire cat arrived about two weeks ago and only just got around to seeing how the pics came out. Then I realized this pic would be perfect for this thread.

This is what happens when your little one wants to watch tv with a giant plush duck, and a light up tentiball thing that are his best friends and he doesn't want to get dressed (he's just in his sleep shirt and underwear)

 

It's a picture of my friend, Sam's doll, Loki, she bought him underwear and we stuffed his bra XDDDD

 

Don't they all have "WTF?!" looks on their faces?

And that "booger" on Ryuichi's head is a silicon earplug thingie to help keep his wig on his head. Its got the wig's fur mixed into it.

I have recently been getting back on DoA more often, and this looked kind of fun. I thought I would post a picture of my own here. This was take by Fango De Maria of her girl, Nicolette, and my boy, Noir.

I have gotten several strange comments on these pics from my friends who have no idea what BJDs are. They range from "how the heck did Arthur (the cat) get so huge?" to "where did you find such a tiny person!?" Also "How old is that child?" and, my personal fave, "where did his mother find such wonderful clothes?"

Non-doll people are funny, sometimes. :P

No LOLcats were harmed in the making of these photos. Arthur was stone-cold asleep and never knew he'd just been appointed as "prop."

 

My boy needed some TLC and in the process was transformed (much to his displeasure) into Zander Forcephands!

 

There is way to much blitz, and I just got the body for my my floating head.. And it was only the arms that was stringed xD



The elastic in the legs was tied together in the hips, and a lover body is fun when you are a figma xD

 

I took this only moments after recieveing my new girl. She is patiently waiting to be restrung.

My friend now calls Miki my 'headless hat doll' despite her head having long-since returned.

Best part? A non-bjd-collector (my mom) suggested this.

 

My poor little Allura is half in pieces at the moment, as her paws and two heads are off being painted! (Since the ears are on a different piece than the face, even the headcaps are off!)

I'm so sad without her >.>
I have to keep the body locked up in her carrying case because it freaks my roommate out XD


Edit; Just so no one worries, I have the tooth-pick ends covered so that she doesn't get scratched while she's in there. XD
