(Picture heavy - around 20 images. If the pics don't load, check it out at my BJD blog.) Justinian was heading out with Halcyon, but gets sidetracked... . . Part I. . . Part II. . . (...cont'd...) . .
You pose your dolls so naturally, they really seem to be interacting with one another! I always find that to be a challenge :P Also love the attention to detail with him putting on his shoes, again really makes them seem like real people doing real-people things.
Great story you've created you really do a great job with creating very lifelike and intimate body language between them all. But also, I cant get over their fabulous sofa so fantastic
Thanks everyone for your kind comments! @lachryphage You can get better at posing BJDs realistically! It takes a bit of practice and experimentation, but you can get them to do amazing realistic things - even single-jointed dolls like my boy can pull off some great poses. @AlisonVonderland Well, when two of my dolls became a couple, I discovered a whole new world of BJD posing... I already know how to pose a single doll realistically, but two dolls interacting with each other? That blew my mind! So much fun to explore what they can do! I love the bench - I bought it off my local classifieds/Craigslist for a song. It looks handcrafted, the wood is quite sturdy. A few more pictures ... I'm on a mission now to get more dolls because I want to fill up the whole bench. XD @animemom I initially thought Halcyon would be a sweet personality, but she's become a more complex character. Dollstown Rhea is an interesting sculpt - it's quite imperfectly finished, but that just gives Halcyon a lot of character. From some angles she can look very grumpy, and she's very annoyed at Justinian here. And yes, he loves his lady - I should post their wedding photos here sometime.
