Hi guys, I am currently saving for an Autumn and I was wondering if you have any pics of your own Autumns? I have looked everywhere inside DOA and outside so I am a little puzzled. If you don't thank you so much for your time!

 

Jen of Dolls - I don't think Autumn has been out long enough for owner photos to show up. I am really wanting to see some too!

 

Glad to have found a Dika Doll thread, even if it's pretty quiet I was given the first payment to put Shin on layaway from Mint on Card so hopefully I'll be able to do that soon.

 

A dikadoll thread!
I ordered my Molin almost 20 days ago and he should arrive in february. For what I've seen there is only another Molin here on DOA...

 

Well when I get mine, I promise I will load this for you I am 240 so I am getting closer. I know how it feels to wait so I will make sure I will help you all out with pictures of him!

 

Someone asked for a comparison? Here is DikaDoll "Summer" 73 cm with my Island Doll "Vivian" 59 cm. I'm not sure I like the size difference. Please share your opinions, because I might decide to pass this guy along to someone else.

 

I kind of like the size difference but that's just me - it's like an average-sized to short girl next to a slightly above average guy (kind of looks like myself next to one of my good friends)

Thanks! "Summer" arrived right before Christmas but family stuff has intervened with taking many photos, etc. I admit I'm having a hard time deciding if I like his extra long, lanky looks or not. His face sculpt is awesome, which is why I ordered him when he was first announced. He's wearing a black wig above, which seems too harsh. Here is a triptych of him in the only three wigs I have that might suit him so that you can get a better look at his face -- left to right, dark brown, black, and silver gray:

 

I think my favorite's the one in the silver wig myself, lsesstudio, but man Summer is a lovely sculpt!

 

Can anyone tell me what colour this doll is?

Lsesstudio - he looks quiet handsome in all of your photos, thank you for sharing. ^_^ I'm amazed at how different he looks in all of the styles. The curly dark brown is very lovely, though I agree the silver is a nice look too. I'd be hard press to choose between them! You mentioned how lanky he is, are you meaning for the character your creating or how the body handles/poses?

I got a part of my second bjd today, a Dika Doll Ling Ri head Couldn't open her head, but this thread helped a lot, thanks! Need a body for her now. A mature one, and I'd really like one from DZ... Anyone who knows if that works?

 

Why isn't there a database for dikadoll Lola/ Tu Ji (rabbit girl)? I would love to see everyone's different versions and styles of her. She will be my next doll I'm making but it won't be for a while

 

I actually just bought a Molin. ^_^ Really can't wait for him to get here... he's cute without being 'hot', I guess. He'll definitely be adorable. That and the whole boyfriend thing just makes him cuter, but that's just me, I guess. EIRI, GET HERE FASTER, YOU SON OF A BEAUTIFUL SCULPT!

Just jumping in this thread! I have a Dikadoll Monica arriving at the end of the week. So excited! Has anyone seen owner pics of her yet?

 

My Alder will be here Friday. I'm so excited.

 

I just ordered a couple of Dika dolls with company face-ups from Mint On Card. I like the face-ups shown in the company pics but there is always the disclaimer that the actual face-ups may differ.
Does anyone here know if there is a vast difference between the company photos and the actual face-ups that people are receiving? Or just the general quality of the face-ups received?
I could still change my order to blank as they aren't being submitted for over a week. I had a hard enough time just deciding on the color. I didn't want them too pale but I didn't want tan either. And I'm always afraid of yellow being too yellow and pink being too pink! So I went with white, which is supposed to be ivory but I'm not sure about that either. I looked at every picture I could find but they all look different. So if anyone has any input on the color issue, please let me know that too.

 

Not sure if anyone has posted pics yet of the Dikadoll Monica, but I can't seem to find any anywhere (flickr, DOA, Deviant Art...)

So... I got my Monica yesterday and I would LOVE to share with you guys! She is normal pink with stock faceup. I'm totally in love and she looks WAY better in person than her promo pics!

I also got the Masu head for the event they had and got them on Mint on Card. I'll get pictures of the Masu head soon!

 

Has anyone seen the 1/3 girl body yet? :3 I really like the jointing on my blanca-2 (1/4!).

May I ask where th folks are ordering your dolls from? The options week to be from dkdoll's website itslef, from Mint-on-card, or from jeeryama on eBay. Do they each have the same items, options and pricings, or do you find differences that make one better to use over another. I'm planning on ordering one doll in pure white,
64cm body, and another body in grey.

 

@Hobbywhelmed: I believe the prices and options are all the same across the sites. However, since you're in the U.S. I would recommend buying from MoC. Shipping will be much less expensive since MoC only charges for shipping from them to you.

 

You could also order dikadoll from Alice Collections. MoC doesn't have all the items like I couldn't find the Lola/ Tu Ji head there but they did have it on the ebay and Alice. Plus Alice is having a free shipping event.

 

Hi, I just been reading this thread through. I waiting for my Zura! I did not expect it, but I saw him on marketplace and had to have him. He will be my first white skin. I hope he fits with my other male doll's. Zura is the tallest but my Dragon doll's will be the more musculair.

They're gorgeous Nuphar! I think my Ruber is sad because he has a crappy amatuer face up by me but I am hoping to send him out for a good one next month!

 

It is so exciting to have him home, my Zura,i cannot wait! I hope Ruber will get a face up that is good for his charector?

Ok I saw a few people asked about getting Rena with human ears and i was happy to see she can be bought this way. However I now have a follow up, does anyone know if you can get the SLEEPING Rena with human ears as well? I would ask at Mint On Card but they are out of the country for a few days still.

 

Yes you can because when I ordered my rena elf I got her a sleeping head. Alice's collection accidentally ordered her with human ears so I had to wait another month to get my sleeping elf rena ^___^.

Are there any plans for a 5 jointed body in say a 1/4 or 1/3 female?
I LOVE the range of pose-ability offered by this jointing arrangement.

I REALLY hope so cause that would just be perfect for my little girl dolls [2 doll of one person] who..well she's called MoUSE for a reason. She curls into the fetal position often to hide and to sleep.

Though I wouldn't be suprised if there were no such plans due to size/space issues.
