does anyone have a picture of rena? i'm still sourcing for that perfect first doll.. and i think i may be in love.

 

There's quite a few Rena's on the way it seems, but i don't think any have arrived yet..

 

Hey guys! I was thinking of ordering a Rena from Mint on Card. She fits a character I want to play around with perfectly and I've been looking for a smaller doll for a while. Plus, who needs excuses?? She's to DIE for ADORABLE!!!

Does anyone know if she's a limited? I have to wait for my Dolkot to sell on the marketplace before I have the dolly funds for her and I don't want to miss my chance!

 

AFAIK Rena isn't limited. There certainly isn't any mention of that on the web sites. I think she'll be available for a while.

 

Medieval is right. We can confirm as an official DIKA doll dealer that Rena isn't limited.

Does anyone know where I can find hot pink wigs to fit on a Finn Head?

 

Just got my zura head. =D He's lovely. Not liking his face up though, it looks nothing like the default one. Also dikadoll white isn't white at all o_O or atleast.. I might have gotten yellow? I'm not sure. I'll post pictures later.

Also.. I can't open his head. 8D Help please? ;3;

Thank you. I just received his head and I didn't know how to open it.

I thought I got the wrong color too. Looks like a hybrid might be out of the question for me. I don't mind that he's yellow-ish. I just wish I had known it wasn't a true white color beforehand. I have no idea what I'm going to do about his body now.

I just saw the new Dikadoll releases, I'm so happy they finally released smaller 1:3 scale girls! I am really liking the body shape too.

I was thinking of getting a Lola during the Autumn event, but Mint on Card is out of town and doing their Autumn event in November so I still have some time to decide I keep hoping I can find some owner photos of Lola soon!

 

I want Molin and Leica, too. Though I just want their heads and not the bodies.

I just checked BJD database... and I can't find a Dikadoll database at all Maybe I'm just not good at searching, but all I found was a Rena database. I think it's strange. So if there really isn't any, maybe someone could start a thread, please? I could do it, but since my boys haven't arrived yet, I think it would be more appropriate for one of the owners to do it.

 

yah i am on board with yah their body not too much to my liking but generally the faces soooooo nice

Mechakal , yeah, I've just asked for Zura database and got it, finally ^^ Databases for specific molds are wonderful and very helpful, but I'd really love to see some kind of general database for the company too as well.

Woah...my Adler stands like a trooper...have you tried tightening the string tension?...My Alder came with his super tight and I've had to loosen it

i need help. what clothes would fit dikadoll zura? he's 73cm

 

I found most Dollzone 70cm clothes fit well - (loose style garments are better)...I recently received items from Tata's Paradise using DZ70 measurements and they fit perfectly...hope this helps.

 

I was considering getting 2 Leica dolls.
Then i saw the pics of isabear's boy.

I quite like the look of the body. I didnt want them to be too toned or overly complex..so its nice that they're just simple bodies that look fairly posable

I just received Ruber Vampire today! I was thinking of selling him when he arrived..I fell in love with another doll whilst waiting but he is just too awesome! He poses and stands better than any doll I ever got right out of the box! And even blank he is so darn cute! The resin has a nice heavy feel too. The free event jointed hands are just so fun to pose. The only thing I am on the fence about is his head cap...it twists off rather than using magnets..I nearly broke it getting it off!
He is a great doll though..definitely a keeper!

 

Oh, it's so quiet here T_T A little bump to the thread with my Shadow pics (Zura grey skin). He hasn't faceup or even his own name yet (don't know if he has any eventually) and has borrowed clothes from my other doll, but he's gorgeous anyway

They are gorgeous! I love these new versions; they are so anime looking; they could cosplay any number of Manga hotties!

 

I've got a Dikadoll Wu on the Senior body. He's a total rock, stands right out of the box - when people say strung tight, they aren't kidding. x__x Wu is so pretty but he needs a faceup yet. I have to say, the body is amazing for holding poses. Probably due to the aforementioned tight stringing!

Has anyone got the faintest idea how you're supposed to restring a Senior body? My Wu seemed to be closed off inside the torso so I can't get at the knot... I'm a bit of a wimp and I'm terrified I'll break him if I yank it! I got his legs off but as soon as I got up to the chest joint, I couldn't go any further. His arms are stuck on him. It's bugging me a bit as I need to blush him to match another head I have, so if anyone has any advice, I'd like to hear from you. ^__^ Oh, and I have the three-part torso, not the five-part. ^^;;

 

You will actually have to unhook his hands so the elastic will travel through the arms and relax enough for you to grab that knot.

I find using a plastic crochet hook or a bamboo chopstick handy
