I got a shipping notice today for the Deilf I ordered last November. Oh gosh, I haven't ordered a wig. There's a 4-5 in my stash--hope it works!

 

OMG really?! I haven't gotten one yet but i'm so glad they're finally being shipped!

edit: i didn't get an email but i checked the site and it shows tracking! yay!

 

@JellysFancy - I've checked tracking twice now (last night and this morning) and it still says Pre-Shipment. Looks like they didn't take anything to the Post Office at the end of the day.

 

Yay just pre-ordered Giorria! Anyone else?

 

It's been a week since I got my shipping notice and the Post Office is still waiting for the shipper to hand over the package. Why do companies do that? If they're not ready to ship they shouldn't send notices. Sorry, just needed to vent. I want my little Deilf!

 

Mine took about a week to actually end up at the post office - it's now actually on its way... Hopefully it will get here before I go on holidays.

 

Sometimes I wonder if shopkeepers read our posts. I no sooner vented than my Deilf shipped. Estimated delivery is Saturday, but I'll believe it when I see it. Tracking hasn't updated since the package left Seattle--and I'm clear at the other end of the country.

 

Mine just arrived today, so hopefully yours will tomorrow.

Little Deilf arrived this afternoon. She's as cute as the dickens but I didn't get a chance to take photos. I don't have a wig that fits: I have some size 3 that are too small, while 4-5 is just a bit too big. I'm guessing size 4 will work. Or, I'll have to make a wig.

I wanted to paint a few scales on her tail but it's been raining off and on all day so that will have to wait. I'll have to make her some tops to wear--she's so tiny! Above the waist she's smaller around than my RealPukis.

 

Unfortunately I doubt it. Mine hasn't even managed to leave the US yet.

 

My Deilf decided to stop in to say "Hi!" She has a handmade wig and outfit but still needs a name.

 

The deilf has been recasted
Someone either ordered one from Jpop and sent it to be recasted or a recaster itself bought one during the preorder.

If you see Deilfs that have the particular Jpop waist (it was different from previous Deilf sold by Le Tama) but not with the Jpop proposed colors, watch out !
If you have any doubt on a doll, you should contact Le Tama I think.

Me, too. Unfortunately, as long as people buy recasts, recasters will continue to steal and sell the work of legitimate artists.

 

Let's hope they at least find the culprit among the buyers !

Looking for some advice - I have been looking for a wig for my Mermaid Deilf and the first one I purchased which should have been the right size was too small.

Does anyone know of any particular makers that make wigs that are the right size for a Mermaid Deilf?

 

I had such a hard time finding pre-made wigs for my Giorria that I ended up making my own.

 

@TeaPartyRevolution it depends on which kind of wig you’re looking for. I made a wig for my Deilfs, but I only know how to work with mohair and wool.
If you’re looking for alpaca or something similar, maybe you could try and send your head to someone?

I made my girl a new wig and top. The braid is looser than I intended. Deilf's body is so small I couldn't hold her between my knees while I braided the hair. The fiber is Lion Brand Homespun acrylic yarn. The color is called Waterfall.

 

OMG! Where did you get those cute little shoes for her? I love the ensemble

 

Velvet came home this weekend. She was my B-Day/V-Day gift.

Finally got around to painting my Giorria! I still want to give her custom eyes and wig at some point, but this works for now.

My Giorria arrived last week! I'm so excited. I believe her eyes were lost in the mail though. My best friend is going to do her faceup in the new year. Here she is looking rather hollow with my SmD, Argent.

So I finally have a not-so-fantasy coloured Giorria coming (still stuck in postage), and was wondering what you guys have found that fits Giorria's?

 

Bratz kids clothes, and some Lil’ Bratz clothes fit well (skirts, dresses and tops, no pants haha). I’m lucky i’ve had a ton of them/similar small clothes for those dolls lying around since i was a kid though. i’m sure you could find some stuff second hand, or any kind of doll that’s that small (i think barbie kelly? idk, it’s been a long time!)

but those often trend towards more childish looking outfits, vs something like what the sales pics on the site look like.

I haven’t tried really making any patterns for her outside of quick no pattern dresses, so I can’t speak to sewing! Her booty gives me the most trouble but if you can get it over her feet and over her hips you’re golden, which is why the dresses and skirts from old bratz work great. Do you plan on trying to sew for her?

I do sew (mostly for 1/8), so I can probably alter some of my pattern to fit, thankfully XD

thank you!! The small version I don't think, she's been around for a while now and I'm preparing a bigger version of her, 30cm, with a different body that will be easier to dress lol

 

And you bet I'm staring that freight train straight on with anticipation!
