Yea he said he hasn't been posting info because he is moving but he will be releasing his bjd release schedule soon. Can't wait!

 

Do we have any idea how much they'll be?

 

Today the artist said he will most likely be releasing Deilf in September!

His previous international pre-order for Giorria was $285.

However I know before the pre-orders when you get his dolls in France (where he's based and where he usually sell his dolls), Giorria was $402 while Deilf was $459.

EDIT: Tama just said Deilf's preorder price will be $285 on Jpopdolls and there will not be layaway. He's moving to Quebec in two weeks so he has a lot on his plate especially as the doll samples are still at the factory. He will be painting the faceplates this week for faceup reproduction for the pre-orders. He said Deilf will be in Sept, Giorria in Nov and human merrow in Jan but it's not set in stone as he's still really busy from the move.

 

Lol! You and I are talking to him on insta together! I was the one asking all the questions. I'm super excited! I'll try for two but I am definitely getting one! 285$ is doable ^^

For those that aren't on his Instagram Tama revealed that Deilf will be released in normal skin as well as light tan!

 

I'm so sad I can't eat human body withbmermaid head! But I don't really like the human head ( I'm a sucker for those mermaid ears) i wish there was layaway I'd just get both!

Human I'm not too into mermaids. I adore the human delif, she is sooOoooo cute.

 

I'm pretty torn myself! I think it'll depend on the colors he offers what I end up going with!

I really want gray! So I'm hoping for it!

 

I have a gray Giorria and the color is amazing! Delif would look great in that color too, I'm sure!

 

He has some of her in gray on his page but I don't know if he will offer her in it! I suggested it to him so maybe!

 

I'm sure eventually he may offer in gray. I'm just super excited he's gonna open the preorder XD. I thought it would never happen lol

I think it's obvious that he's really just not sure yet.

 

He is mid move so I forgive him ^^ I'm gonna plan for September for deilf and if it's later all the better for me Bc maybe I'll be able to afford 2!

 

Oh I don't blame him at all. I agree on waiting so I can hope to grab two, especially if he does the pink and purple Giorrias!

I still can't decide on a name (my ideas are Napoleon, Helen, and Hope), but I ordered some purple and lilac mohair to try and make her a new wig!

I'm going to take the default Sircca wig and cut it down and resew it to fit my bunny. I found a tutorial now let's just hope I can pull it off.

I would be interested in seeing that tutorial if you have the link, I believe Giorria and Deilf have similar head sizes, and that would be incredibly helpful

The Sircca wig is terrible quality and I feel comfortable chopping it up in an attempt to salvage it for Melody.

Well I finally finished her wig!
It's made from the Fairyland Sircca wig, with elastic in the back to keep it better on her odd little head.

Today I talked to Depths Doll's Tama and he told me that Giorria is pushed back to next year as he is dealing with moving so it's difficult to manage the release of Giorria as well as Deilf at the same time. Also he didn't want people to choose between the two and so wanted people to have a longer money-saving period between the two releases. Deilf is still scheduled for October ^__^

 

I'm relieved to know she's pushed back to next year! It's been stressful thinking I might miss out.

 

Yea he said he understands that people need to save money for dolls since he's been there; especially when so many are coming out all at once so by pushing it back this gives people more time to save up also he didn't want people to choose Deilf OR Giorria so yea :> yay!

 

Does anyone know if JPop Dolls accepts layaways?

 

They try not to. Not really sure what that means because I've never bought through them. But they replied to me that they prefer not.
Tama says he'll be offering it once he starts his own website, thankfully!!!

 

That's good to hear! I have a friend that wants both Deilf and Giorria but will need a layaway.

 

The latest rumor is that Giorria is now pushed back to next year (for the reason of not wanting to force people to choose one over the other). I'd really like both but because I'm so undecided about Giorria's colors I might skip Deilf to get all the Giorrias I can!!!

@Lucilia What color would you call the blue bunny. Tama said she's more of a pale blue and sometimes she seems pale blue, but most of the time she seems a minty green blue!

I love that the page informs you that if you cannot wait, do not purchase LOL They also are kind enough to let you know that she takes a size 4 wig and 6-8 mm eyes! Jpop is set up very nicely. This was my first experience ordering with them and I'm very pleased thus far. Their email confirmations are instant too!

Only 35 days remaining until the pre-order ends and the true wait begins. Thank goodness for free countdown clock apps

Ondine is adorable! I haven’t ordered mine yet as I’m still deciding on which skin color but I’m glad you’ve had a good experience with JpopDolls so far as it will be the first time I’ll be ordering from them as well!

These dolls are so adorable! It was hard to choose but I finally preordered a normal skin Deilf mermaid with make-up.

I have a question for those of you have bought wigs for these girls. Is it better to choose size 3-4, 4, or 4-5? And do the ears interfere with the wig's fit?

 

Congrats! I ended up getting the tan skin mainly because I don't have a tan girl in my dolly family yet

 

Congrats to you, too! I was so tempted to order the tan. In the end I decided I preferred the mint tail to the pink. Wish there was a possibility to choose because I would have ordered tan and mint. I'm already thinking how I might customize the tail with paint when she arrives. It needs some detail...

 

Can't wait to see how you'll paint her tail then! And yes I know a lot of people wanted the tan + blue combo as well as the fantasy head + human body combo. Maybe in the future when Tama has his own store we will be able to pick and choose.

 

Nothing fancy. I'm thinking tiny scales in iridescent colors. I have the paints--it's only that I haven't used them for so long I don't know if I'll be able to get the caps off!

 

I thought I would jump in because I've order the tan Deilf human without makeup. So excited! I'm confused about her head size and getting a wig that fits. Is 4-5 ok or does it have to be 4. I don't want her to be overwhelmed with too much hair. Any tips where to get what I want? Can someone post her measurements? I only have her height.
